If you want to know how to cleanse your body then you need to understand how cellular cleansing works.

The reality is that since the day the industrial revolution first began humans have being racing toward polluting the planet as fast as we possibly can. As a result, there are toxins in the air, in our water, in our food, in our clothes, in our furniture, and is the spreads and sprays we apply to our bodies to look and smell better!

The human body is a pretty resilient thing though and when it was first designed a liver was installed designed specifically to remove toxins from our body. But the problem is that this liver was designed over 100,000 years ago and many the toxins we’re exposed to now are only 60-70 years old. And until our livers are updated with the newest software, they don’t know how to deal with many of these toxins.

If the liver is unable to filter out these toxic substances they can’t just be left circulating around in our blood, poisoning all of our organs and systems. So, to protect our bodies from these toxins, we encase the toxin in fat.

Problem solved….

Okay, so maybe one problem is solved, but now we have new ones to deal with. We now have a hyperactive and weakened immune system and an excess of fat. Of course too much fat leads to a whole host of others problems which include but aren’t limited to: obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer and stroke.

Study after study have proven that diets don’t work for weight loss and this is especially true if the excess weight and fat is a result of toxin storage. There is only one way to deal with these toxin laden fats and if you truly want to know how to cleanse your body, then you need to practice cellular cleansing.

Cellular cleansing is a combination of using the body’s own hormonal response to fasting in association with support of the liver. First allow me to explain how our bodies have evolved in a fasting situation.

You need to keep in mind that humans have been around for the past 100,000 years and it’s only been in a relatively few decades that grocery stores and fast food restaurants have been so commonplace. Prior to that humans obtained their food from hunting and gathering and sometimes food sources wouldn’t be overly abundant. This would mean that we may need to go a day or 2 without any food. Allow me to explain using “Grandpa Caveman – aka GC” as an example.

So one day GC goes to the cave fridge and finds it completely empty and Grandma Caveman tell him to get out there and bring back a dinosaur for dinner. GC leaves the cave but he hasn’t eaten since last night’s Tyrannosaurus burger. The body only has about 6-8 hours of glycogen (sugar) stores to be used for energy and that is nearly running out. But the body knows that if it wants to eat again it’s going to need energy to hunt down that dinosaur. So it starts to release Human Growth Hormone (HGH).

HGH is my favourite hormone because it burns fat, builds lean muscle and strengthens bones. So while GC is out hunting for dinosaurs, he is breaking down fat to be used for energy. After 24 hours of fasting, the anterior pituitary gland releases up 1300 times its normal level. And if GC doesn’t catch a dinosaur in the first day, on day 2 the anterior pituitary releases up to 2000 times its normal levels.

However, if GC fails to secure a meal in 2 days, the body starts to question GC’s hunting abilities and starts to worry that it may be in for a period of starvation. If this is the case, then the body doesn’t want to burn off any more fat, rather it wants to conserve and build fat for when times are really bad and no food is available. So the HGH tap is turned off completely and the adrenal gland starts releasing cortisol. Cortisol works completely opposite to HGH in that it burns muscles, builds fat and weakens bones. Thus fasting for longer than 2 days is not recommended.

However, 2 days of “fasting” is not the same as 2 days of “cleansing”. During a fast, fat cells are broken down and toxins are released. But the reason the toxins were stored in the fat in the first place was because the liver couldn’t deal with them. This hasn’t changed. So during a fasting cleanse, the body needs a combination of herbs, botanicals and antioxidants to boost the liver and assist in filtering these toxins. Some of these magical ingredients include: ionic alfalfa, ashwaganda root extract, burdock root extract, bilberry and blueberry fruit extracts, turmeric root extract…. Just to name a few.

A properly executed cellular cleanse will result in not only fat burn and weight loss, but also a strengthened immune system and reduced oxidative stress.
