People gain their self-esteem from their work Work takes up the majority of one's life. The contributions we make, the feedback we receive, the new opportunities – all contribute to our self-esteem. When people feel good about their work, they communicate better, establish better working relationships, and feel more positive. When people are not treated fairly, they hold back ideas, don't help their peers as much and sometimes might even have negative things to say to customers about where they work. In difficult economic times it is easy to let go of standards and take on a client who does not fit your vision of your ideal client. When few clients are in the pipeline it often looks attractive to take the ones that show up. When you do this you run the risk of having an angry client or worse one who is out a real energy drainer. Here are ten warning signs that tell you to avoid the client.

FEAR is the number one reason that holds you back! Where in your life are you playing small and letting FEAR take over? Are you in a job that you hate and feeling unfulfiled and frightened to move on? Are you in a relationship that you know in your heart is not for you however you're frightened to end it and take the next step?
