Ask yourself the following question: What would I do if I had no fear? Take a few minutes and think about your answer to this question. Think about your feelings and your reactions to this question. If you have a situation on which you haven’t taken action, ask yourself why you haven’t taken ...

It is very essential for us to understand the dynamics involved in EFT. It is not simply about tapping. It is an eclectic approach to healing. Outlined below are the various procedures involved in EFT and their significance in the healing process. You will see how EFT incorporates the psychological, biological, and energy dynamics: an effective amalgamation of all three approaches. The Affirmations: The Psychological perspectiver The importance of affirmations lies in the fa
Happy New Year to you! How is your 2012 so far? What commitments have you made for the year ahead? What changes will take place in your life this year? And what are you doing about being more YOU? Allow me to explain. At the beginning of a new year, a lot of advice is flying around … how you can look different; how you can feel different; what you can accomplish; how successful you can be in various areas of your life, and … and … Ugh! Even considering all of that de-energizes me and jangles my nervous system!
This subject is so very much a part of my mission and so near and dear to my heart. I love to teach entrepreneurs how to make success even sweeter! In society, you’re often taught that we’ll be happier if you’re successful and making a lot of money. Following that logic, that means that the more money you make, the happier you’ll be. The current formula is : Success + Money = Happiness. I hate to break it to you, but this formula is false! I’ll bet you didn’t expect me to say that. But, it’s true.
Remember that expression? “Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free”. Well, we women know what are mother’s were referring to. (It was a silly expression but I found myself using it during some of my private clients' sessions to really drive home a point) This expression also applies in business. I’ve talked to so many entrepreneurs who give away everything without a thought until they get mad because they’re not making more money. Here’s some examples of what they do:
Whether a person knows anything about EFT or not, it is possible that just reading this article and thinking about each question, can bring a certain amount of relief. Sometimes just observing the discomfort is enough to help you feel better. I have studied Gary Craig’s videos for hundreds of hours and am still amazed at the simplicity of his brilliant successes. Something I have noticed, but is not often mentioned is the constant succession of trans-derivational searches that Gary encourages. He is having the person do these inner searches all the time.
How you see yourself is ultimate how the world will see you – it’s a fact. And let me expand on that to say “Seeing Yourself” means what’s going on inside your head not what you are portraying on the outside. You may see a person who looks so confident, looks so successful and you wish you could be just like them – and that person maybe saying to themselves I look confident, and successful so why don’t I feel that way? The most common way of fixing ourselves regarding our s
Why did "The Secret" resonate with so many people? It's because the movie taught us about the Law of Attraction! Think of the Law of Attraction as "The Golden Rule Boomerang": You get what you give! You give what you get! It has the ability to create a positive cycle in our lives. How many of us have had personal experiences with the Law of Attraction working? How about our friends? Postitive thinking has the power to uplift us from our problems and see solutions. The Law of
She wanted this so badly for her business but couldn’t say “yes”. Her husband wouldn’t approve and she’d feel guilty that she wasn’t putting her children first. Boy, could that guilt be overwhelming! She felt as if there was no way to win. Every time she got new clients, she’d have dreams about the support she could hire…the new computer she could buy…the updated website she could have and so much more.
Nobody enjoys going to the dentist. It's something that we all know we have to do, but most of us dread. Even routine dental work can evoke an "oh, no!" feeling in a lot of us. I suspect that a lot of people had experiences similar to those that I had as a child. My parents took me to a kindly old dentist (and I DO mean old!) whose equipment was so old that what should have been white was yellow. He always said the same thing: "This won't hurt a bit.", but it often did hurt. I learned not to believe him, and that distrust extended to every other dentist, for my entire life.
Utility detection is an essential part of any project that involves the digging up or disruption of any surface. It can help to prevent accidents, injuries and of course costly damage as well as save time and improve cost-effectiveness of any project. By using utility detection and underground mapping, you can clearly mark out the area in which you are working and new technology has allowed this all to be done without digging a single hole. By using electro-magnetics, signal
Do you present a confident face to the world, while in your heart of hearts you feel like you’re not really good enough? Maybe that means not good enough at your job, maybe it means not a good enough mother or wife, maybe it just means not a good enough person. Whatever your feelings of inadequacy relate to, know that EFT can help you change how you feel about yourself, so that the confident face you present to the world becomes your true face. Often there are childhood issues related to not feeling that you’re good enough.
EFT is a very powerful technique that has helped many people resolve problems in their life such as phobias, pain, post traumatic stress etc. However people are often taken aback by the fact that when they do EFT, they are asked to focus on the problem and state it out aloud. In fact it is one ...
When I worked in Corporate, we always had an annual event in another state. All 5 offices of my company would come together for these 2 days. They would have a motivational speaker for us to listen to. Once, it was someone from Dale Carnegie (How to Influence People and Win Friends). I won the first prize contest which was a beautiful, fancy pen given with the purpose to sign future big commission checks. The officers of the company would talk about the past year and plans for the future. Lots of “rah-rah” and drinking the company "kool-aid".
The history of parenting is rather brutal, with children once considered non-entities that could be discarded, killed, or used at the parent's whim. Over time, our collective approach to parenting is evolving and developing, which is good news indeed. How we collectively parent is the leading force that shapes how we are as a country and as a world. How we parent as a society determines whether we perpetrate violence or encourage peace.
Self Empowerment by learning how to get out of the bad emotional state instantly Do you usually or sometimes feel bad about everything that is happening to you and get agitated easily by tiny little thing in the world? If so, this post can act as a guide to you to overcome this problem. First of all, we must always focus on the correct and positive things, so whenever you begin to feel bad that includes negative feelings like sad, angry, frustrated, talk to yourself, ask you
A Tail Ender is your initial (uncensored) response to a positive affirmation. Tail Enders are an excellent way to find core issues and beliefs. Whatever our beliefs, we have the 'evidence' to support them - 'the evidence and proof' are the specific events that occurred in your life. You took on that belief or came to that conclusion about your self, life and others as a result of a particular event. Tap on these events one by one so the corresponding beliefs collapse and dissolve. Write down your first response to the following positive affirmations: 1. I am lovable 2.
A man calls me asking for help with a high fever in his 7 month old daughter and we do a short session over the phone. I start by scanning the girls field for upsets, viruses, bacteria, toxins etc ( thank you Stephen Daniels for teaching me how to do this ) I've got the fathers connection to his daughter so its easy to tune in to her field through him and surrogate muscle test using myself.r
What does your energy tell you about yourself, are you highly strung, are you argumentative, do people talk nice to you, do people talk abruptly to you, do people smile at you, or do you get odd looks. Did you know that we are receivers of what we send out.. If your energy is vibrating stress, anxiety, hate or anger, it is likely that you will receive back the same type of energy you are delivering. The same goes for love, joy, happiness and gratitude, if you are sending this out as you go about your day then it is likely that you will get that back.
ABSOLUTELY! Not only do you deserve SUCCESS… you were born that way to start off with. Your SUCCESSES no matter how small or how few ARE STILL SUCCESSES. So we know you have the potential to succeed, we know you have succeeded in something in the past but yet, you haven’t succeeded in what you want the most. And more than likely you don’t know why or more commonly you don’t want to know why because then you will have to face up to it. All of which is a common response and ha
“I’m riding my bike to work this morning.” my husband tells me at 7:45 am. “I will need to leave by 8:15 am.” he continues. “OK.” I say, as I realize what this means. I will be the one dropping the kids off at school. Feeling time pressured now, I rush to finish the lunches, change clothes, and off we go, running a little behind schedule. We get to the front of the school, and I sigh with relief, thinking we made it on time. But the line of cars going into the school drop off, just sits, bumper to bumper. “What is the problem?” I wonder, a little panicked.
In Part one of Improve Your Self Esteem, we discussed the impervious self-doubt that so many of us are victim to and how to start becoming consciously competent in changing our neural net to support more positive thoughts and beliefs.
Here’s a great story worth sharing to show the unexpected and terrific results that often happen with EFT. “Mary” worked as a waitress that was known for their delicious hot rolls. Patrons coming to the restaurant often indulged in eating several rolls a piece. Unfortunately, Mary, liked these rolls, too, as they were easy to eat on the run while she was working and hungry. She wanted to try EFT to see if that would help her eliminate her craving for these rolls.
Recently I had one of those experiences that we probably all have from time to time, but wish we had skipped it. I pulled a muscle, and anyone who has done that knows how painful it can be. I’ve done it before, so I knew immediately what was wrong, but the thought of dealing with a lot of pain for days didn’t appeal much to me. The last time I pulled a muscle, it was in my chest, and every breath that I took hurt. The pain was so bad that it scared me, and I saw my doctor.
In previous blogs, we’ve briefly mentioned how unrelieved stress hurts your body and your emotions. My purpose in writing these is not to go into great detail but just to make you aware of the many ways that stress does negatively affect us. Some topics we will revisit in much greater detail. For the next couple of blogs, I want to show how unrelieved stress can hurt your productivity. Productivity basically means how much you are able to get done in a day.
I would like to share an incredible experience that I had in my early twenties. Even though it is not something I talk about except on inspired occasions, there may be a few of those who have had the near death experience (NDE’s) who could relate to this. I also felt the need to jou al this experience while I could still remember it. Please be aware that this is an attempt to describe that which is indescribable.
EFT is the most effective tool hands down to break ancient patterns of behavior and thinking both in my opinion and in my experience . Nothing works as elegantly in making links to the past so that all a skilled practitioner has to do is be completely present to what the client is feeling to ...
Tip # 1: Give something away every day that costs you nothing but can be priceless. Find this and the upcoming tips at www.Powerof10s.com Tip # 2: Change Your Mind to Change Your Life – Thoughts are arguably among the most powerful tools rnwe possess to affect change in our lives.
As I was walking along a forest path a couple of days ago, I saw an amazing thing. It was snowing – in July! White puffy flakes were falling from the sky, while the sun was shining! On the ground, was a layer of white. Of course, it was cottonwood seed time and instead of snow flakes, the sky and the ground was full of cotton wood seeds. I noticed something interesting about the way the seeds were falling to the earth. In the sheltered areas, the seeds gently floated to the ground. But in the open areas, the seeds were blown in every direction by the wind.
In order for affirmations to be effective it is important to understand these 3 keys. Once you grasp these concepts you will be on your way to creating your life by design. Key #1: Affirmations are much more than a written positive statement of what we want.
This past month, I’ve been to so many events where I saw entrepreneurs repeatedly make the same mistakes. Ultimately, that is taking them off the fast path to success. Over and over again! These entrepreneurs complain, get frustrated, disappointed and even angry that they’re not having the results that they want. Lack of focus is their big mistake. And not just “lack of focus” but lack of focus on what’s most important. Here’s what they’re doing which is sidetracking their success:
Tick tock, tick tock! Are you a time bomb ready to explode? Stress and overwhelm are one of the biggest complaints I hear from my clients. There just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. Between taking care of their family, personal life and business there just seems to be too much going on and not enough time. It just seems impossible to keep up with everything! Does that sound familiar?

There’s an expressio I first heard when I became an entrepreneur. “You don’t know, what you don’t know”. Have you heard that before? The other day, I was at the salon getting my hair cut. One woman was complaining to another that she wished she had done her wedding photographs differently. She would have liked to have more photos of a certain group of people. It’s obviously too late- there is no “do-over” unless she gets remarried. She’s stuck with her choices and she’s stuck with the results. Their conversation triggered a very important subject for me to write about.r
In 2005, after several years of chronic pain and all the misery that goes along with that, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. My rheumatologist’s solution was to immediately medicate me. I was prescribed an antidepressant, 2 pain killers, and something to help me sleep at night. Admittedly, I did get some relief from the medication. Unfortunately, with fibromyalgia you still have bad days.
When I work with clients who are seriously ill, one of the strongest negative emotions they often feel around being ill is guilt. They feel guilty because they can't work or do the things they once did; guilty for needing care and support; guilty for resting and guilty for not doing enough in general. The challenge with this limiting belief is that it influences our rest time. It can lead to us dismissing our bodies' needs because there is just so much to do and we "should be doing more". We decide to soldier on instead.
Self Empowerment by Controlling Anger Let's start off with a story that interpret the danger of anger. Once there live a rich woman that is well known in high society for her benevolence who had a maid that was faithful and diligent. One day, out of curiosity, the maid decided to test her mistress to find out if she was honestly good by nature or if she was just putting a mask for the sake of appearance in her high society surroundings. The following morning, the maid got o
I’ve been working with adoptees for nearly 20 years now, and I thought I had heard pretty much every regret there was to hear from an adoptee, but yesterday I heard one I hadn’t heard before, and it caused me to feel a profound sadness. An adoptee contacted me about scheduling an EFT session, and on my intake form she said that one of her biggest regrets was having been born.
Headaches…we all get them, and they’re not much fun. Often our headaches are a result of stress, anxiety, anger, frustration and other negative emotions.
âKarenâ found out that her husband had been cheating on her with a mutual "friend" for a couple of years. I had worked with her on her sadness during a mini-workshop a couple of months before, and she had gotten her sadness down to a 5/10 before we ran out of time. We were finally able to connect and to have a private EFT session, even though it had been almost six months since she initially found out that âHarryâ had been having an affair. Since then she realized tha
I am the mom to 3 wonderful and loving cats, each of whom I adore. Each of them is very different from the others, and very special in his or her own unique way, and my daughter and I have taken great pleasure from having these three as a part of our lives. Of the three cats, the most timid is Blue. She is a beautiful cat, brown and white, with the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen in a cat, hence her name. My daughter rescued Blue when she was a kitten and her mother was run over by a car.
Rejection. It’s a word that nobody involved in an adoption search wants to think about. Unfortunately, rejection is something that every searcher needs to consider. It happens. It’s terribly sad for all conce ed, and can emotionally deeply wound the person being rejected, but it is one of the possible outcomes of any search. Having personally been through a 7 year search myself, and having held the hands of hundreds of searching adoptees and birthmothers, I know how common it is for searchers to say that they’re prepared for any outcome in their search.
Have you ever been in a situation you could do Absolutely Nothing about? I have – multiple times. Any one with adult children experiences that total feeling of helplessness and frustration when you see your adult children making harmful choices and there is not a thing you can do about it. The worst ‘can do nothing about experience’ for me was when I found out my six month old son, David, had a rare but very serious form of Muscular Dystrophy. We were told that David would never walk, be able to live a normal life and would probably not live very long.
My Experience While Filming the Veterans PTSD Documentary “Operation Emotional Freedom: The Answer”
Everyone has those times in their lives. The kids are driving you crazy and can’t go out because it’s raining. You partner just came home from work grumbling and swearing under their breath. You feel like you’re coming down with a cold, and, oh yes, you just found out that you had a check bounce! For most of us, one or two stressful issues can be handled, but once we reach a certain point, we are overwhelmed with our lives and the level of our stress.
Lots of us live with work related stress. I did for a very long time. I didn’t handle it well. I seemed to be in a constant state of upset, as my high stress job impacted on my life and on my emotions. My boss was a jerk, my deadlines were unrealistic, and I was only noticed if I screwed up. Not a pleasant way to exist. When I could no longer stand the unending stress and accompanying headaches (and lets not forget the crying binges) I started looking around for a magic bullet. No more talking therapy. I’d been there and done that and found it totally ineffective.
If you’re like me, you’re probably impatient – wanting things to have happened yesterday. I planted flowers in May…actually some were potted and some were seeds. The potted flowers (lipstick red geraniums, golde French marigolds and others) are gorgeous to look at each day.r
We all experience severe heart break at some time in our lives. For many it happens in childhood or adolescence, the time when we are most vulnerable. A cold mother, an absent father, being different in any way from our peers and ostracized for it - these are some of the reasons for the early feeling that something is wrong, inadequate and utterly disappointing about us. For others, it happens later, when a spouse betrays our love and trust, a child is hurt, or our dream of making it big in the world is shattered.
Developing the Inner Witness When someone starts doing therapy or any sort of self-reflective inner work, their first task is to develop the Inner Witness, the one who reflects your experience back to you. This has also been called the Observing Self, and its job is simply to record what you think, feel, say and do, moment to moment. The Inner Witness is only a witness. It does not judge; it does not comment; it does not correct. Those things are done by the Inner Critic, which we'll get to in a moment.
