If we were to dissect the superficial front of families we would find, strife, jealousy, fear and hatred and no holiday within the family feels like a blessing. Love brought families together. Love that binds the family together is often taken for granted, by the parents and the siblings. When grown adult families come together, then everyone needs to remember that they are adults, and not children. I have posted a saga of two families One family focuses on abundance, gratitude, blessings and love. The other family focuses on power, individual differences, lack, and fear.

Hello every one its me, Brian Allen here once again after a long rest that I have needed to incurred to recharge and regenerate my energy into giving my readers some further guidance in using spirituality when being faced with divorce. Bringing out the best Ponderings... by Glenda Gibbs Several years ago I was working with a couple who were deciding whether they wanted to continue their marriage or bring it to an end; they chose the latter. Both were conce ed about the family gossip. They didn’t want to feed it so what were they to say? I suggested for them to share they were ending their marriage because they were no longer bringing out the best in each other. I also suggested they didn’t need to say any more or less.

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: ~ I Peter 3:10 People ask me why I write so often about the power of thoughts and words. I have to tell you, it’s because they are truly the key to an abundant, joy-filled life. The Bible tells us that if you can control your tongue, you can control everything! (James 3)

The first book I read by Erma Bombeck was "If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, What Am I Doing in the Pits". I was hooked after that. And when her poem, If I Had My Life to Live Over came along, I was even more inspired by a woman who could write such a profound poem after being diagnosed with cancer. Ms. Bombeck's poem encourages us to live each day in the moment, take nothing for granted and enjoy the abundance we have been given. Ms.

Society projects an idealized image of a fulfilled life as being straight and married with children. This is viewed as the pinnacle of success in the hierarchy of love. At the very least we should all have a significant other in our lives. With the advent of gay marriage, many gay men are feeling even more pressure to be coupled. It’s true that gays have become increasingly more accepted into mainstream society; however, the expectation of being partnered has also increased as a result. It’s okay to be gay nowadays but it’s not too cool to be gay and single anymore.
At such a young age we begin to seek out approval from others. It begins as toddlers looking to our parents for approval, as adolescents it's our friends, and once we enter the working world it's all of the above in addition to our boss and colleagues. It seems we are constantly seeking out the approval of others. In my yoga class a few weeks ago the instructor quoted a sociologist whose teachings he had studied.
There are five steps that I say will help you to eliminate your anxiety. After working with more than 8,000 people and coaching them on a weekly basis to live in states of happiness and peace, and succeed at the highest levels, I can tell you, I’ve dealt with a lot of people with anxiety.
Here are some tips that you can do on your own. The tips are designed to be easy and practical. But as you have heard before, you should consult with your doctor or mental health professional. ? Understand the difference between good worry and negative worry. 1. Remembering items, setting priorities and planning can all be part of good worry. You can tell the difference between good worry and negative worry. Negative worry is toxic and is repetitive, unproductive, paralyzing, frightening, and in general life-defeating.
Selfishnessr Every now and again I reflect back on my life to a time before I started what I know call a “co-creative process of life recovery”. There were many negative qualities that were at work most of the time. One that I really regret is selfishness. I wanted the world to see me as a caring unselfish person. Many of my actions were just that-they looked caring and unselfish. The truth was, all too often, I did things with a motive-what was in it for me? I know this in retrospect.r

Entrepreneurial leaders do not have a mindset that adapts to failure. Things go wrong, of course, but entrepreneurs don’t call them “failures” they call them “glitches, mistakes, bungles, setbacks” – but not failing. When one such entrepreneur was asked about the hardest decision he ever had to make, he answered that he didn’t know what a hard decision was. An entrepreneur will approach decision-making with the idea that there’s a strong likelihood that he/she will be wrong.
The choice of a career path can be confusing. This could mean having answers to some tough questions. What are you good at? Where are your interests in? What do you think could impact other people? The answers to these will help in coming to terms with what career path you will take. People who are focused on making an impact focus majorly on that aspect of life rather than the monetary gain. They get to identify what will make a difference on other people. In such situations
Customer service is also a fundamental part of your businessâ sales lead generation campaign .After all, there will be occasions, especially when calling current customers, that some problem or vexation will be brought up during the discussion. When that happens, it is important to deal with them quickly. Once such problems have been resolved, the next stage of promoting products or services can be had. But to effectively take care of that, one must have telemarketing campa
Of course we want what is best for our children, right? How outrageous the thought of anything contrary to that belief. However, most people commonly remark to their children to "do as I say, not as I do" or "don't do what I did son, take your own path", and other phrases just like this. We mean well and we do want the best for our children. How can we want so much for them yet present such an opposite picture at the same time? We say "you can be anything you want to be" yet we continue to do that thing we hate to do or business we despise.
If you’re on a path of personal development and spiritual growth, it’s near impossible to bypass the many signposts pointing us in the direction of self-love. For many of us, these messages and milestones come up again and again as we grapple with the challenges of what it is to truly love oneself. Some of the biggest obstacles we face are the negative assumptions attached to the concept of self-love. We fear that if we follow the signs we might end up in the depths of the narcissist’s pool instead of scaling the heights of the Masters.

One of the words that is used a lot in everyday conversation is the word “but.” Usually, it’s considered to be a pretty benign word, or at least that’s my impression given the way in which it’s carelessly bandied about. I mean it’s a fairly small word, seemingly innocuous enough. I think, grammatically-speaking, it would be a conjunction, although I’m not really sure of that, so don’t quote me. All this being said, what I want you to think about for a moment is the inherent meaning of the word “but”. When you use this word.
NO GAIN WITHOUT PAIN Man, those words flowed from the lips of my old football coach Mr. Fleming many years ago. I still remember them well. Back then, you knew exactly when the pain would end (right after practice) and after playing a while, you got smart and learned you in deed could make gain without pain. Suffering, something that comes out of pain is something over which we have choice!! Suffering is a journey which has an end.rn--Matthew Foxr From Hazelden: "Pain is part of life. To live a spiritual life, we need a way to understand the suffering we sometimes endure.
I recently read about this study conducted by Nobel Prize recipient Daniel Kahneman. He believed we would all feel a lot better if we spent our time more wisely. He conducted a diary study with 909 women in Austin, Texas. He asked them to record all the activities they did during the day and then rate how happy they were while doing them. He then had them narrow the list to their least favorite activities. Unfortunately those activities accounted for nearly half of the participants' waking hours. Not surprisingly his advice was fairly simple.
Achievement is the desired result of any and all Human Activity. First and foremost, in order to define an Achievement you need to engage in goal setting or defining what you wish to accomplish. The Human Spirit and our ability to think and reason, as a species, is what differentiates us from ...
Hello, I have seven parts to cover on the above title this is the first part: Its just seems so easy these days to get married and when it doesn’t work out for what ever reasons then just get a divorcé. Well yes in theory but it’s not as easy as that as you may or may not know. I guess because your reading this then you have your own reasons but let’s face it it’s not a good place to be in your life and will have huge knock on affects if you do not approach it all with a plan in hand.
As a multi-talented person, you've got a lot going on. It's very easy to be pulled in multiple directions, pretty much every day. Sure, you intend to write that novel/update that reel/submit that painting to the juried competition...but then the car battery dies and your sister gets sick and your buddy needs a favor and suddenly it's Friday and you haven't spent five minutes on your most important creative project. To keep yourself on track, establish the habit of using regularly scheduled weekly reminders of your talents and creative projects. WHY BOTHER?
If you struggle with emotional eating: stress eating, boredom eating, comfort eating, frustration eating, or any type of eating designed to help you cope with or avoid your feelings, you know that it can be a difficult habit to break. It’s one thing to identify that you struggle with emotional eating, but even after you have identified the feelings and situations that trigger you, it may be difficult to figure out what to do instead of eating when these situations arise.r
As a life coach, my job is to help you remove barriers to happiness and success. One big barrier is your mind. I often ask my new clients, “Have you ever considered that your mind is not your friend?” Most are stunned by the idea of it. Your mind, which I call The Drunk Monkey, is just a biological mechanism designed to keep you alive longer. Your mind's job is to help you to avoid danger or become better.
Steps to Making Changes Many people are defeated before they start due to a lack of understanding of the change process. Coaching is a way to transition from wanting to doing one step at a time. All things in our life including money are made up of core beliefs, thoughts, perceptions and behaviors. When we align our thoughts and beliefs with our values, realities shift and behaviors become easier to change. What is Financial Health? Financial Independence - Financially fr
How many times have you gone on a diet? Is it too many times to count? Do you start a diet only to “fail” a day or week later, because you went back to eating things you actually liked? I will eventually blog more extensively on this topic, but for today I thought I’d start with a visualization to help you stop this war with yourself and your body. This is the problem: You’re fighting a war with yourself, with your biology, and with your (very hungry) inner animal.
Do you know that the more successful you feel now, the more success you will experience later? What is something you always wanted to do but never took the time to do? For example, surfing, attending cooking classes, taking a photography class. Think of something fun and childlike and not something work related. I suspect that you have spent many years pursuing knowledge and education while focusing on your career. There are parts of yourself that you have neglected and are now crying out for attention. That is why I ask you what is something you always wanted to do but never did.
Finding inspiration is so much fun! It is not as hard as some people think, you just need to know where you can find it. It is very easy to get stuck in a loop of negativity when you feel like you are searching for something that is eluding you. I totally can relate to this pattern, while I was recovery from a recent surgery, I was stuck on the couch and was feeling very trapped in my own head. While I wasn’t able to get off the couch right away, I could choose to occupy my mind with inspiration material. SO that is just what I did and I was able to work through a amazing “ahh” moment.r

Do you remember way back when you were in elementary school, the big pencils, Big Chief Tablet ®, crayons, with a very strict teacher? When you were caught talking too much or throwing paper and that strict teacher made you write 100 times: “I will not talk in class” or “I will not throw spit ...
Procrastination is painful. Perhaps you're having problems getting started on a new project -- or mid-way through something and hit a snag - or find yourself otherwise stuck. Maybe you’re just having one of ‘those’ days and can’t quite get yourself going. Whatever the circumstances, here are seven proven ways to cease procrastinating, to get unstuck and to get started. Try one – or all – of these tips the next time you're stuck or stalled. 1. Use logic. Convince yourself.
ABC THEORY. Have you learned your ABC yet? The American psychologist Albert Ellis (1913–2007) developed rational-emotive therapy (RET), which is a directive, confrontational psychotherapy designed to challenge and modify clients’ irrational beliefs thought to cause their personal distress (Ellis, 1961, 1977, 1979,1987). RET is based on Ellis’ ABC theory (Wood & Wood, 1993). The A refers to the activating event, the B to the person’s belief about the event, and the C to the emotional consequence that follows.
Hello every one and welcome to part 5 of my 7 part blog that looks at divorce with lots of common sense but with a spiritual aspect to it all. Ok so now we are single and we shall treat this part as if we are now looking to hook up again, find a partner, love or any other label you wish to put on it.
