If you are anything like me, you tend to have things piling up around you... in your office, your closet, your desktop, your working space, your house, your anywhere and everywhere! And I know many of us have very legitimate reasons for having things pile up. We run out of time, too busy, ...

It is possible for one to learn to let go of the conflict in their lives. Everyone has a past. Everyone has events from their past that they are not proud of. Wishing that things "were" different just isn't going to do any good. To continue to re-think and to play a what-if analysis on past events is a waste of time and energy if it is only directed at trying to change the past. The past is history, and tomorrow's a mystery. Focus your energies on today and avoid letting past conflict hold you back.
I recently came across an internet thread in which a lady of much intelligence and perception observed that many women are "simply trying to deal with the pain that has been directly inflicted upon them time and time again." This is very true, but must NOT be mistaken for the statement "and therefore, men are worse than women." That is a separate statement, which would have to be defended quite separately from the simple, painful statement that many women are in pain.
Low self-esteem can negatively effect a person's work, personal, and scholastic life. The continual feeling of unworthiness and inadequacy often undermines any attempt to succeed even at simple tasks. The way you view yourself is your self-esteem, which also involves your attributes, and your capabilities. You simply cannot succeed in life when you are continually second-guessing yourself or belittling yourself over every detail.

Learning good habits is not an easy task. But once you develop new good habits and new behaviour you must make sure that you to follow it regularly. However, the reality is that you are more likely to fall into your old habits and patterns rather than sticking to the new behaviour. Hey, me and Hank Williams, Jr., we're from Dixie. And speaking of Dixie—during a recent drive, I passed by Dixie Plywood and Lumber Company here in Nashville, and it looked almost like a ghost town instead of the busy, bustling center of activity it normally is. There were just about six cars in the lot, and it didn't even look like they had the lights on inside—at about 9:30 in the morning. And then I passed by a big shipping plant—sorry, I don't know the name—and it looked like a travesty of its former days. There were just a few trucks moving and then, whoa!
Muay Thai a noble art with antique traditions & is a combat sport . It is also the Thai national sport. Affirmations are effective tools that anyone can utilize so as to have a life they dream of having. What are affirmations? Simply put affirmations are positive statements that you say aloud and regularly. The objective is to re-program your subconscious mind so as to be able to remove negative thoughts which keep you from reaching your dreams. Essentially they operate by overwriting with positive thoughts the negative ones that we keep stored in our subconscious mind. What are the Benefits of Affirmations?
âYou look like a cow.â When Kristen heard this, she was delighted and clapped her hands. When Linda heard these words, she was mortified and fled the room in tears. Why? Because they interpreted the words in very different ways. Kristen was dressed in a costume she had made herself for a masquerade party and was proud âto have pulled it off.â Linda had just topped the scales at 300 pounds and vowed never to wear a black and white print again. nnWhile this may be an ov
Self esteem is something that everyone talks about but what is it and what does it look like? Well, unfortunately, it is not something you can take out, hold in front of you and see and although we all have an idea of what self esteem means to us, it is not something that is put into words easily. Self esteem is the opinion that you have about yourself, about who you are, what you think about yourself and how you value yourself as a person. Ideal levels of self esteem help u
Your self-concept is made up of three parts, each of which affects each of the others.nnUnderstanding these three parts enables you to put your hands on the keyboard of your own mental computer. rnAchieving success of any kind in life is a fulfilling feeling but by reaching your potential you have achieved the greatest success of all. Why is it then that so many people fall short of what they are capable? Sad but true is the fact that many go through life never achieving the personal success they yearn for. As easy as it would be to simply cite a lack of motivation as the primary reason this would NOT necessarily be the case. rnWhy is it then that so many fail to tak
Here we are on the edge of civilized Panamá, pretty doggone close to Tocumen International Airport, the airport that services Panamá. And inside these lot lines the grief, the well wishing, is serious. Rosendo Moreno, father of the clan, aged 74, passed away a few days ago. And the family is gathered, we’re getting ready to go to the final service. Friends are gathering, well-wishers, those who want to encourage them and keep from being alone. And outside this lot line life goes on as normal.
We can all be leaders in business and in the world of work. I believe everyone has the potential to create a unique product or service that people want and most importantly of all will pay for. However, to achieve this initially requires some self-study and self-analysis. Start searching for a gap in the market because it most certainly does exist, or think of what you are looking for as a consumer and customer. Listen out for ideas from people closest to you also, your family, friends and work colleagues.

âI always thought my life was all about my career. I put too much pressure on myself every day, but eventually I realized it was my first mistake. â That is a confession of a patient who is going through a treatment for neurotic depression for two months. It is not just one confession, but the fact of life is most of us have this problem or misunderstanding our purpose of life.rn rnWe put lots of pressure lately because of a job â clearing office work over phone while e
Hello, my friends! Today I'm going to talk about a concept that comes straight out of Chapter 13 of The NEW Think and Grow Rich—HoloMagic, the Sixth Sense, the other dimension. Even though we're going to focus in on a specific point, the whole chapter is about triggering the self-fulfilling prophecy and the Law of Attraction, making these seemingly inexplicable and very rare psychic occurrences a constant companion in your life. It is for achievers and it is for people who dream big, and it is for those who obviously are spiritual who develop this path.

How does Psychology define the term “behavior?” It begins with understanding that all behavior can be described as an attempt on an individual’s part to bring about or act in a set of circumstances or a situation. It can be either be a change from one situation to another or be in the context of an already existing one. For example, a girl combs her hair, leaves for her work, then reads a book, listens to her favorite music playlist over again, and subconsciously calculates what she needs to prepare for dinner. Those automated behaviors become a part of a person’s routine.
Many people would not believe the fact that they can have total mind control. In truth, some of us do not even have total control over our bodies, much less our minds, and because even science and technology does not have all the answers when it comes to total mind control, how can the individual, unschooled human being have any hope of reaching into their cerebral cortex and start barking orders at their mind? Most arenât even familiar with the different compartments of th
Budgets: They aren’t fun, but they are a necessity. As a single mom, I’m the sole breadwinner and I’ve found there are two choices that let me successfully support myself while raising my children: 1. I can sit around in self-pity, moaning and groaning about what I don’t have and wishing away life as I run up credit card debt; or 2.
What does gifting have to do with your self-development? Plenty. We are all a part of this abundant universe that revolves around giving. Abundance is truly all around us. At times you may not feel like it, but if you take a moment to see what you have all around you every single day, you will agree that you are abundant in many ways. Just take a look at nature and the way God has designed it. nnWhen you need something, you must give back first. That is one of the principal l

You want to improve your life. You're sick and tired of being sick and tired. You are willing to make changes as long as these changes don't disturb what is already comfortable. And you don't want improvement to require a lot of work. You want a quick fix. And you may not realize that even though you don't like it you're quiet comfortable in your sick and tired of being sick and tired existence. So you unknowingly fight back to stay right where you are.nnAnd in that place of
Many people struggle to feel confident with their abilities in their jobs. To put it another way, many people wish they were more self-confident in their work, handling difficult situations, and dealing with coworkers. If you are one of these people, you are definitely not alone. So what can you do to feel more self-assured in your job?
I want to introduce you to one of the very simplest yet most effective stress management techniques for tough times that I discovered some years ago, but first I want to tell you a story. There is a story about a king who sought wisdom. He searched all over his kingdom for wisdom and did not find it. Eventually he heard of a man living in a remote part of the kingdom who had a reputation for great wisdom. The king sent for this man and had him brought to court, whereupon the
“When it comes to The Truth, all of us are liars.” (sayings by lp) Truth can never be measured in absolute terms of truth-y-ness (yup, I just made that up). Truth is relative … it’s not absolute. What is unquestionably true for any one individual or group is often questionable to another. Just ask Republicans and Democrats. They can look at the exact same evidence and use it to support their own version of The Truth. Which is just their way of saying what they believe to be true.
When you get right down to it, this has been a pretty horrible year. The world seemingly is going south in a hand basket at a break-neck speed, peace anywhere seems impossible, good news on the financial front is hard to come by and on a personal level, this year marked the culmination of five years of loss, manipulation, lies and betrayal. (but hey, I'm not bitter.....)nnI will be more than happy to see the year from the perspective of hindsight. Living through it has been a

How time flies. Just last year we celebrated a new year 2016. The year turned out to be very eventful, with lots of history. The Republicans took it in the US. Brexit happened. Allepo fell under siege. Kasese cried aloud. Uganda re-elected the President. The list is endless. All these are now history. Whatever happens, the sun will rise and set. You must ask yourself, âWhat did I learn from events in 2016?â How do I make 2017? Life is about making choices- to be part of h
Give up. n nYes, give up trying to be something streamlined, tucked, professional, more of something, less of something. Itâs over. Itâs done. Itâs so last year.n nBe yourself. All of yourself. The world needs more of you.n nUnder the layers we all speak different languages. We see, feel, and experience different worlds, and, my goodness, we are all a bit sideways. Itâs a lesson to learn over and over. I learned it loud and clear last Friday night in a very unlikely p
In todayâs time, we are so caught up with work and tasks; it is hard for us to think who we are, what we want, and what our strengths are. This is why most of us are lost and donât have a perspective on future outcomes. Similarly, when we donât have enough time for ourselves, it is hard to spend time self-reflection and self-awareness. Unfortunately, very little people are aware of the concept of self-awareness, and many donât know anything about it. Not to forget, se

Developing a healthy body image is one of the most important things you can do to maintain a healthy mindset. It all starts from how you think of yourself, and when it comes down to it, you must accept yourself for the person that you are. It can surely be tough though. You're constantly being thrown images of people who are almost impossibly thin and this leads you to set unattainable goals for yourself. Since you can't reach these impossible goals, you can get easily discouraged. But there is good news! Changing Your Self Image
Habits frame one's life way more than we probably realize. Habits are strong and the human brain clings to them. Every person has many habits. Habits are an important part of an individual. They grow stronger and become more powerful with the passage of time and slowly turn to an automated behaviour.
Commandism and Tailism are boundaries that are on purpose poorly defined. Let’s say you are part of a political movement, or you are working for a company. The leader of the political movement or a leader in your company asks you to do a special task or project. You approach it with enthusiasm and get it done on time and better than expected. Everything should be good. You should be recognized for your extraordinary efforts. Yet, you are chastised for being too enthusiastic.

Hard facts, but the truth. So, what are the secrets of th
I always wanted to be older. It started when I was 4 or 5, living across the street from two kindhearted grandparents, âMemeâ and âPepe,â and being in awe with their youngest grandson, Roger. Whenever Roger would visit during the summer and wherever he roamed on a given day, I could be found following close behind. He was so agile and fast at 10-years-old that I often resorted to pursuing him from my Big Wheel. Someday, I thought, Iâd be able to keep up with Roger.
How to overcome your fears Lets clarify what I mean by fears. One dictionary definition states 'be afraid or feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation or event; "I fear she might get aggressive".' It's a combination of a feeling and thought that you have about an unknown situation based on your belief or preconceptions of what might happen in the future.
