Rebound relationship is a common occurrence during a breakup. My clients usually get terribly anxious when they find out that their exes are dating again or entering a new relationship. They want to know how to stop this or how their exes can do this, what that means, etc. They ask, "Does it mean they're over me?" Chill, folks. The answer is, very likely, no and the fact that they're seeing someone else can actually work in your favor as it serves as a clarity and as such it can even hasten the reconciliation process if you know how to handle yourself.

In the last few years since I’ve been selling The Relationship Saver and coaching people in their relationships, I have come to see an interesting trend in age-old beliefs and behaviors taken for granted, never questioning whether they work or if there is a better way to do things. Namely, there are two things that we presume come to us naturally: relationships and parenting. What we mean by naturally is that we should have inbo knowledge of the best way to be in a relationship as well as to rear our children.
It’s normal to have conflict in relationships. People are different, and their desires and needs will inevitably clash. Resolving disagreements in a healthy way creates understanding and brings couples closer together. The objective should be the betterment of the relationship. This is positive conflict. Below are 24 suggested rules – 12 Do’s and 12 Don’ts – for actualizing this goal. Arguments are Good!

Eighty percent of men are distancers and 80% of women are pursuers. Women have 10-15 times more oxytocin (the bonding hormone) than men, and men have 10 times more testosterone (go-getter hormone) than women: so based on that chemical proportion alone, it's obvious women need more closeness than what most men can give. At least when we understand this, we will be less inclined to feel abandoned or think of worst case scenarios.
Starting a conversation with men and women is easy. Follow these tips and âWhatâs your sign?â will lead from casual talk to flirting to genuine first-date conversation. The conversation starter âWhatâs your sign?â had its heyday in the 60â²s when the musical Hair turned everyoneâs attention to the Age of Aquarius. Nowadays, it can be a trite conversation topic for couples. It could lead only to small talk. Thereâs one exception though: If youâre slightly kn
I am of the point of view that a life without meaning is not much of a life at all. In my coaching practice, I have worked with people on the brink of “losing it” and wanting to give up on various levels---from quitting a job that could not bear, to wrestling with understanding the challenges of their life, to feeling like they would be better off leaving the earth plane---- all because of the same existential crisis of meaning. Afterall, if you cannot find meaning in your life, what point is there for living?
Do you play the “Comparing Game?” If you get jealous easily, chances are high that you play this game-- that isn't fun and won't bring laughs into your life. In fact, both the “Comparing Game” and jealousy will undoubtedly cause you pain and wreak havoc on your love relationship or marriage. Here's how it usually goes... Liz and her boyfriend, Rick, are out together with a group of friends. They both love to dance, stay out late and socialize with friends. They also love each other and have a commitment to their relationship with one another.
What’s scary about being in a relationship? I’ll tell you! There are many things we hear from our friends, we see in the news, on TV, or in the latest movies such as “Why Did I Get Married?” AND despite the age-old myth of “you live happily ever after... in bliss,” being in a relationship takes some work! You actually do have to learn, know and use some relationship skills to make it last longer these days.
Lindsay and Brian have been dating for about a month now. They've been spending every weekend together. Both of them are beginning to wonder if this is turning into something more. This is an exciting time for Lindsay and Brian. They are having fun together and their growing intimacy is welcomed by both. Neither Lindsay nor Brian wants to rush things though. Lindsay doesn't want to scare Brian off or make him think that she's pushing him to get serious. At the same time, she would like to be certain of the level of commitment he has to her and their developing relationship.

Valentines Day certainly arrives with a lot of emotional expectation! I remember the excitement in first grade about our class party and getting little candies and hearts from everybody. Not too many grades later hoping that the candy from that really cute boy would say, “Will you be mine?” And wow, the stakes got higher as we got older: will he ask me out, will he give me a card, will he ask me to go steady, will he tell me he loves me, give me my first kiss, or the mother load of all—will he propose?
The key of dating an emotionally unavailable man who wants to take things slow is to let him set the pace. Expect that he will go hot and cold. Mirror him in everything he does. When he's hot, reciprocate that, this is your time to establish bonding. When he's cold, also keep a distance. Don't try to force yourself unto him asking for attention and affection. He will only withdraw further. Trust His Actions, Why Words Don't Mean So Much For A Man.

So you want to lea 5 text messages that you can send your ex boyfriend to get him to regret leaving you… and turn the tables completely. The beauty of texting is that it doesn’t convey a lot of neediness… so if you play your cards right, you won’t look like a jealous or clingy (which is a good thing). 1) Create a life vision and visit it daily What I mean by a life vision is this: Where are you going? Where are you going in life? And what are you doing all this for? What’s the target? Many people don’t have this target or vision in their lives. They’re just in motion. They don’t really know where they’re going. That’s not necessarily the worst thing in the world, but oftentimes what happens to people who don’t have a destination or a target, is that they burn out. They don’t have any purpose for doing what they’re doing.
In this article, we will explore three essential leadership qualities that boost morale among followers. Every leader must learn what being a leader means. These qualities are important to every leader. They are important to any follower. They are a must. In 25 years as a judge dealing with relationship issues I almost never had to resolve legal disputes. People were almost always before me because someone got defensive and became a bad problem solver. Defensiveness is a poison pill to good relationships. In conflict, defensiveness is like blood in the water to a shark. A little here, a little there, and in no time the situation has degenerated into a feeding frenzy. Remaining non-defensive is the single most important thing y

I recently had a first session with a client who said, about halfway into the hour “Wow. I like you. I’m surprised.” I laughed, but I knew what the client meant. As a psychotherapist in private practice, I encounter a lot of people who waited far too long to come in for counseling because they didn’t understand what it was or how it could help them. When they do finally come in, I hear all the reasons why they haven’t come in sooner. There’s a lot of bad information out there.

INSIDE RELATIONSHIPS BY JAN DENISE RELEASE: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2009 Lose Weight, Change Your Life Last week I asked: How would your life change if you were to lose weight and satisfy the hunger that food can't? To help answer the question, I also posed it to Keith Ahrens, the man I introduced last week, who lost 200 pounds, became a fitness trainer and wrote his memoir "Outrunning My Shadow." "I wish I had a video camera when I see someone I haven't seen in a few years," says Ahrens.

INSIDE RELATIONSHIPS BY JAN DENISE RELEASE: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2009 Meet Six Needs and Bond for Life Relationships make for a happy, fulfilling life or a miserable existence. So, why didn't our parents sit us down early on and teach us to do relationships well? If you think about their relationships, the answer might be painfully obvious. Jealousy can a bit tempting and exciting - it can be proof that someone is totally into you. A sign of jealousy can also be good - just as long as it's not destructive. Trying to make a guy jealous is a gamble in your part - it's either going to make him pursue you more or just plainly walk away or never look back. That's why it's important to find out if he likes you, even just a tiny bit. When all your attempts fail, it's probably because you didn't do it right or he simply
Doc: I came to notice early in my life that treating women as if they are a goddess is a sure fire way of losing their interest. You can try to spend as much with them as possible, call/text them every day, give them compliments etc. but they will lose interest and think you’re weak. Recently, I have been more aloof with women trying not to calling them when they say give me a call, asking them out once and if they are "unavailable," not asking them again, trying to get them to approach me, etc. None of these attitudes seem to work.
"Everything I do annoys my boyfriend." That statement normally wouldn't make you bat an eyelash, save for the fact that it's you saying it, right? It's horrible, isn't it? You're crazy about a man who seems intent on criticizing everything about you. You feel like you're walking on egg shells at every turn and it certainly never feels as though you're doing anything even remotely right.

As an author and psychotherapist with an international private practice, I've often come across women who are involved with Ambivalent Men. An Ambivalent Man struggles with a profound sense of confusion that causes him to repeatedly sabotage romantic relationships (or potential romantic relationships) that could have otherwise been healthy and lasting.
