We live in a society that is addicted to fast, young, beautiful, and me, more, now. We are constantly told that we need to have this gadget, or make up, or job in order to be lovable, and in our constant quest for the quick fix, we really lose sight of ourselves.

Practice meditation daily for it is a powerful tool and the first step to the conscious awareness of our Divine self. As we reach the place inside of inner peace we access our own Divine wisdom. When we practice meditation daily we focus the mind on the breath. Then we are able to feel our own energy and spirit. The thoughts are no longer in control distracting us from who we truly are, spirit in physical form. Through simple techniques when we practice meditation daily we can learn to get centered and let go of stress, fear, doubt and limiting beliefs.

In as few as five minutes you can reduce your stress with an ancient method of relaxation called qigong (pronounced chee gong). Qigong has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Early practitioners found it to be useful for many different health problems. They also used it to increase their strength as martial artists and it has also been used to help people achieve spiritual goals. Qigong can be easy to learn and highly effective for reducing stress and increasing energy.

I had a friend who held up an object and asked me to concentrate on the object and try to move it. I looked at it, furrowed my brows, and took a beep breath focusing all of my energy on it. He asked, "Why do you have to do that to concentrate? Why not just stay relaxed. Everybody seems to think they need to tense up when they concentrate." I don't know why he did that, but the lesson is something that I have held onto for more than 20 years.

We are afraid to give of ourselves wholly in body, mind or spirit. We maintain some reservation about revealing who we really are. We are even stingy about giving our partner certain things, but we want our partner to give us everything that we think will make us feel good.

Guardian Angels are assigned to us at birth and remain with us throughout our lifetime. An angel guide on the other hand is one that we can call upon for extra assistance. All of us can call upon many angels, in addition to our Guardian Angel, to help us in any situation. Their role is to steer us in the right direction, to reassure and to guide us once we request their help. They are not here to interfere in our life lessons but to help make our life’s journey an easier path to tread.

With so many spiritual options to choose from, how do we know which path is right for us? The path we choose - that is right for us - will ultimately lead to happiness, fulfilment and peace. It is the path that is tailored around the needs of the personality, and in line with the spiritual destiny.

As a woman in my mid-thirties, I feel a sense of urgency amongst my single friends. While it was perfectly fine to be single in our twenties, being single in our thirties, seems to be a place that no one really wants to find themselves. I know that I have that little voice that is constantly reminding me that the deeper I get into my thirties, the less likely it is that I will experience. Actually, more than a little voice, it is the voice of my doctor, my mother, and some of my friends!

There is a lot of speculation about reincarnation and past lives, and many opinions about whether it is real or even possible. Through years of experiencing past lives, as well as facilitating regressions with people from all walks of life and all perspectives on this issue, I have come to my conclusions. To truly be Divine we must create mastery over self. To take control of our senses and see things are they really are. If man allows his senses to have complete control he is unable find the True Self. He becomes a servant to his senses and never breaks free. But if the Light of Love, the Light of God, the Light of the Universe, and the Light of the One and Only are able to find a crack in the armor of ego. Love impresses a message upon the heart which starts the process of doing away with the senses. Then man can ultimately walk the path of setting himself free.

Heavy clouds hung low over the mountains as she made her way to South Lake Tahoe’s animal rescue center. Part of her thought she was crazy to be driving so far to look at a dog she wasn’t even sure she wanted and the other part had missed having an animal in her home. Either way, she was driving to meet a little dog called Spyke. The day before, she had become bored while on hold trying to reach a customer service representative for her DSL provider. Just for fun, she started hunting online for adoptable small dogs at rescue centers in the area.

There was a man in his mid 40’s who had traveled the world, visiting just about every country on the earth. He was also an artist and did paintings and sculpture, and people loved his work. Yet in the background in his soul he was full of pain, suffering, anger, and sadness. For he had grown up in a household with a mother who was mentally ill. Yet his mother was never really diagnosed with mental illness, and his father just kind of put up with all the craziness around the house because of her illness.

The place to begin is meditation by listening to God through the still small voice within.

"How do we qualify information as it enters our 'field' ?" The resonance of truth varies depending on our ability to be aware at deeper levels. We have a 'field' that surrounds us, a kind of 'spidey sense' that we often neglect. How do we 'vet' the information and people providing it so that the quality is there; so that sense is made common? We've heard about the notion of 'questioning authority' yet the authority we question often has bias in our questions. The solution is to ask better questions, those questions that arise naturally from our gut feelings.

I am so angry today I could scream. I just don’t understand why I keep finding myself doing jobs that are simply boring or unchallenging. On top of this, the money is poor and my boss gets my back up. I don’t seem to be able to enjoy the tasks or the people at work and, for that matter, the people in my life!
