The fine gentleman at Five Rules For Life asked me if I wanted to weigh in on...life. But of course! If you have your own nuggets of wisdom to share, head on over and let Jon know - he may post 'em. The site is purely philanthropic and ad free. Thank you, Jon. Danielle's "Five Rules For Life": 1. There are no rules. Structures, how-to's, dogma, principles...all disciplines and theories should be used to support your freedom and independent thinking. Curiosity is exponentially more powerful than playing by the rules. 2.

Remember the old days? So many answers for one simple question. In this case, I am reflecting on how far we have come in securing directions from here to there, wherever here and there may be. Used to be that maps were needed, sometimes several maps, all spread out on the kitchen table or the ...
As children, we prayed, âGod bless Mom and God bless Dad. God bless Aunt Susie. God bless my friend Elizabeth â¦â But as adults, we need to go farther than that. A lot farther. But sometimes, we just donât know what to pray. nnA large part of our confusion about what to pray for stems from the fact that we rarely look beyond the obvious. When someone is sick, we pray for healing. Thatâs it. When someone is in financial need, we pray that they get money. Then we stop.
I always write about what is relevant in my life and this last month has been an interesting one for me. You see, in my lifetime I have had maybe ten headaches. However, when I get them, they are migraines. The first time I had one, I was in college trying to get ready for final exams. Between four tests and four papers that were due, I had a lot going on and my migraine stayed with me for the entire last month of school. I had to cover an eye just so that I could focus on what the professor was lecturing about during class. Needless to say, it wasn’t fun.
Ask yourself. How much am I giving myself? What are the conversations am I having with myself? What thoughts are entering my mind? What is my life like? How much do you give yourself into retrospection? Before you decide on your actions, for whatever it is in life, you must first decide your ...
Success for organizations takes single mindedness. Determine what you want and then take unwavering action toward it. Leaders in organizations who talk about treating people right, but in reality treat people with disrespect, create pain and resentment. People see the gap between what is said ...
A Channeled Message for May came through me and I would like to share it with you. The following is the message that I received:
Peacock has been making itself known to me in the last several weeks. The magnificence of the Peacock astounds me with its royal blues and greens which symbolize not only a sense of royalty, but also the heart and throat chakras. The heart chakra is in charge of our Love aspect and the throat dictates our self-expression and sense of truth. Therefore, the two colors together can mean communicating clearly through Love, which seems to be a perfect way to live.
This is in no way meant to be an extensive look into the concepts, beliefs, principals or opinions presented herein, it is nothing more than a sort of introduction to a far broader spectrum of beliefs and practices. My purpose in presenting this, as well as all information on this blog is so that you have a better understanding of later works, which is always good as it alleviates a lot of questions down the line.nnThe term mysticism is often used when in association with bel
The days are getting shorter and the nights are becoming longer. With the commencement of the autumn and winter time, many people notice that the lack of daylight goes for their state of mind. Statistically seen, the mood of almost every third person in Germany drops down into the cellar region. Women seem to suffer a lot more under the seasonal blues: 36 percent of them fall into a down feeling or even a depression induring the dark times of the year – whereas only every fourth man is affected with 24 percent.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave the last couple years, you’ve no doubt been exposed to The Secret and the Law of Attraction. But what is The Secret? And what is the Law of Attraction? According to the movie and the book, the secret IS the Law of Attraction. But, The Law of Attraction is ...
As a psychotherapist and a specialist in the field of mind-body fertility, I have counseled many women who have put off having children until they felt the time was right for them. They postponed marriage until they achieved financial security and found a partner they loved. They delayed pregnancy until they felt mature enough to forge an emotionally satisfying relationship that could provide them and their children with a nurturing atmosphere. I, personally think this is admirable. But the media and the medical establishment’s inclination to depict women over thirty-five who want babies a
In today’s post, I will talk about a topic that seems to come up very frequently to most of my clients, which is how to achieve their ideal shape and weigh. I hope you enjoy it, connect the dots, and let yourself thrive... In today’s world, we are obsessed with achieving a certain body shape and weight. And while doing so, we forget to connect with the innermost part of us that automatically knows how to do that.
I remember. I was a young child, somewhere between 8 and 12. I was waking up one morning, as if from a dream, and I was wrapped in Love... Divine Love... Love Without Conditions. I didn't want to wake up. I wanted to stay in that Love and never leave it. I held on to the feeling as long ...
By Ram Giri Braun, Ph.D. It doesn’t take any effort to fall in love. Suddenly the walls you’ve built around your heart crumble and you experience what you are at your core: alive with the bliss of the heart. Suddenly your ego has evaporated and all you can think of is how to make your beloved happy. Imagine a world where our first order of business is to make each other happy! No really—take a moment and picture that. It sounds completely utopian—impossible really—and I am here to say that we are exactly headed for that. And the best place to learn it is in our relationships.
Most people are looking for wisdom outside of themselves. Yet all wisdom can be found within… in our heart and solar plexus where that great omnipresent force resides. 1 - As we become more conscious of our inner world we become more conscious of our inner wisdom. Thus we take control of our wisdom and accept our power. 2 - Life opens up to us as we become more aware and conscious. We have a destiny and that destiny must be awakened. If we go inward we will find that destiny. If we go outward we will become lost in the mad shouting of the outer world.
I’ve had interesting discussions lately about the Chinese culture and how it compares to our own. First, a high school teacher and I approached our students by comparing and contrasting the education systems within the two countries. Our students seemed taken aback as we discussed how China has a tendency to lean toward “effort” versus some kind of innate intelligence or “giftedness” or privilege. Since an earlier group of students didn’t know who won the Civil War in our country, I thought this was a good topic to talk about.
I am Angel Chamuel and I greet each single one of you with the words of love, OMAR TA SATT. I am love itself, the biggest living star tetrahedron. I speak to you full of light and love.
Puzzles exercise our mind. We all know that keeping our minds stimulated increases our knowledge of the world we live in and contributes to our sense of well-being and fun. An active, healthy mind, hungry to learn more and explore new ideas enhances not only ourselves, but those around us. ...
To forgive our past, we first have to face and resolve any unfinished business from our past choices. This means every pattern, choice, and grievance must be examined, like turning over river stones, without hiding behind the facade of excuses. Then, to attain closure, in addition to spiritually releasing our patterns it is also necessary to clean up any physical residue associated with them by getting rid of emotionally charged possessions or gifts, closing bank accounts, changing titles on properties, and letting go of old wedding rings.
The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams is a children’s story about a rabbit that wants to be Real. I, too, wanted to be Real. I wanted to be whole. To be whole is to be Real. Like the velveteen rabbit who was a stuffed bunny, I was “stuffed” with social conditioning, scuffed around the edges, lacking wholeness. Like the velveteen rabbit, I had “no control” over who I had become, because I lacked awareness of what I had to do to set myself free (so I could become Real: authentic, whole, and happy).
New Beginnings are here and now as we get closer to the season of Spring. Whether it is a new season in our life or we are simply focused on living in the here and now moment, let's begin anew. Everyday is a new day, a new opportunity to begin again. In order to do so you need to let go of the past. Let's begin anew and embrace all that is possible today. All we have is this moment and our breath. The breath is life, the life of spirit within us ever calling out, so let's begin anew. Ah, breathe and relax.
Spirituality involves an awareness of being connected with something greater than the individual ego or self. This "something greater" has traditionally been called God, Goddess, Allah, Great Spirit, the Almighty, the Absolute, and many other names. Some consider it as the Universe, or as a sense of infinite order and beauty. Many individuals prefer to attribute no name whatever to it. But whether named or unnamed, the awareness of a connectedness with something greater than
How often we lament ‘When ___ happens my life will be better’. The blank may be a job, marriage, new baby or even divorce. What you can count on is that your life will be altered; but will it be better? My experience has been that my life gets better when I work on me. If I rely upon exte al events or people for my happiness; I will be in for a disappointment. We can’t wave a magic wand and instantly transform our life into happiness.

The Now is the only reality. It’s all that really exists. The past is a memory, the future is a fantasy, and memories and fantasies are just ideas, and quite inaccurate ones at that. Thoughts arise in the Now, but they are only a small part of it. However, because we are programmed to pay attention to the egoic mind, thoughts often take the place of experience: We think about life and think about what we are experiencing rather than experiencing life purely, without thought. Experience colored by thought and experience uncolored by thought are very different experiences.
I am always surprised where Life Lessons appear. I have been so busy wrapped up in quite a few projects that I knew I was losing my sense of being present. Instead of being ‘in the moment’ my thoughts start drifting off to my To Do list. When that happens life is slipping by and I don’t realize to what extent until some event jars me back into the present.
The Fire of NownThis sacred moment of Now is the only door to freedom. How long has it been since you first heard this truth?nMany of you have been seekers for decades. You have acquired spiritual knowledge and had profound experiences, but the fulfilment of freedom has yet to embrace you in itâs sublime ecstasy.nThe words of teachers are beautiful and logical and you understand perfectly, yet the invitation to burn in the fire of now remains just an invitation. The fault i
There's a wonderful story about Milarepa, the Tibetan Buddhist saint who as a young man went out into the world to experience life and returned home to find his house filled with demons. He was angry and afraid at first and wanted to fight them or flee. Instead, he did the unexpected. First he took a deep breath and bowed. Half of the demons disappeared. Then he opened his heart and mind, expanded his field of awareness and out of his mouth came a song that sent away all but
Wouldn't it be nice to look at an aco and already see a mighty oak? How about perceiving every image of despair as hope and transmuting every idea of sorrow into joy. Sounds too technical, doesn’t it? Well the idea is about focusing your energy on a positive outcome rather than a negative one. When you train your mind’s lens to project beyond what you see and then begin to allow it to build a perfect and pure image, you will automatically be set free from pollutants that poison your true and perfect essence. How then can we create that heaven on earth? Check out these suggestions.
“Many people die with their music still in them. Why is this so? Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out.” - Oliver Wendell Holmes When it became clear that the Master was going to die the disciples were depressed. The Master smilingly said, “Don‘t you see that death gives loveliness to life?” “No. We’d much rather you never died.” “Whatever is truly alive must die. Look at the flowers: only plastic flowers never die.”
Through a Simple Twist of Faith The conclusion of a three-part article written by Randi G. Fine I should have seen the writing on the wall and planned an exit strategy long before I needed it but I had not. Financially dependent and deeply in denial I lingered until the very last second. Then I fled, penniless, in desperation. When I left my husband, newbo baby in tow, the only realistic optio I had was to move back in with my parents. I dreaded the thought of having to go
In today’s post, I’d like to talk about some reflections that came after having a conversation with a dear relative of mine… It seems that sometimes we really want to change those habits and addictions that are not working, but at the same time, there is an invisible force behind us that is always trying to pull us back to our comfort zones and self-destructive actions. Let us talk about food and health within this context…r
You can experience union with your Creator in many ways. Culture and/or Religion has traditionally dictated to us how, when, why and if we could connect to the Divine. We live in times of change, where the old standard is shifting into a NEW paradigm; we can create our own link to Creator! Here ...
There is nothing more annoying than being told to relax when we are involved in an important project, trying to meet a deadline, or juggling multiple responsibilities. It feels like one more demand. “How CAN I relax” you want to say, “when I’ve got all this stuff to deal with?” Yet we know ...There is nothing more annoying than being told to relax when we are involved in an important project, trying to meet a deadline, or juggling multiple responsibilities. It feels like one more demand. “How CAN I relax” you want to say, “when I’ve got all this stuff to deal with?”
Is death an end or a beginning? Throughout recorded history, this question has been central to human existence. Religions have been born in response this question, as have the inspired works of many poets, artists and scientists throughout the ages. When confining our consideration of death to rationality alone, it appears that death is final, and that life inevitably runs to its end. Yet when we consider this question from an intuitive perspective, the finality of death give

Isn’t it amazing that God, Maker of Heaven and the Universe, desires that we call out to Him? Not only that, but when we do call to Him, He promises to show us great things we have no idea about! If you have your doubts, read Jeremiah 33:3, which says: “Call to me and I will answer you and I will tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” I think your kids will get excited about this verse especially when they play the fun Bible school activity “Call and Catch.” Here’s what you do:
How is that, you might say?nn(Please let me relate to you the following all-too-true story.) Viv is an amazing guy whom I (author) have known for over 12 years. Some 17 yrs ago he became the victim of a car accident falling backwards off a 100 foot cliff whilst in his car as result of swerving ...
Lessons from a dramatic lifer Barbara’s life has been pretty dramatic. Catapulted into intense “awakening” experiences by the tumultuous events of her early life, Barbara became a seeker. Her quest to find a way out of suffering led her to explore many different pathways and approaches – mental, physical, metaphysical, psychological and spiritual. After leaving the US in the mid-60s in protest against the Vietnam War and settling in Scandinavia, she continued her quest. In th
“In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.

In my book, The Mystical Secrets of Life, I dedicate a lot of energy to miracle thinking. By this I mean that miracles are happening around us, through us and for us CONSTANTLY while many people go their merry way ignoring them or even complain their way through them. Life is totally miraculous.
rnLook at the person that always has in bad mood and always complain for what they have not but never thankful to God what He awarded him. It seems hard to be around and it looks difficult to maintain a relationship with them. Now, consider a person that is energetic, and has a certain spark to them. They are fun loving and have attitude to do anything. They want to try new things. Theyâll always be thankful to list of things. When you meet them youâll become more energet
We live in a universe of free will, and so it isn’t possible to develop a “formula” for success that will be perfect for everyone. If there was such a formula, some brainiac in the 5,000 years of human history would have discovered it centuries ago! There are, however, some important Dos and ...
