In today’s post, I’d like to talk about some reflections that came after having a conversation with a dear relative of mine… It seems that sometimes we really want to change those habits and addictions that are not working, but at the same time, there is an invisible force behind us that is always trying to pull us back to our comfort zones and self-destructive actions.

Let us talk about food and health within this context…
It is very likely that most of us want to inhabit a beautiful, vital, healthy and radiant body. And this is perfectly normal, as this is our birthright. But it seems that there is a tendency to sabotage ourselves when things get too good, and sometimes we are not even aware of this.

Perhaps you’ve made a subconscious decision that you should allow yourself only a certain amount of success, physical health, beauty or happiness. And why? Well, there could be a lot or reasons: perhaps you grew up believing that you were not worthy, or you think that there aren’t enough resources for all; or maybe you grew up afraid to break off the limiting beliefs and barriers that your parent’s passed on to you, or perhaps you feel afraid of your own vastness and shining bright.

It does not matter why your self-made barriers exist, the important thing is to get conscious of that point in which you subconscious mind starts telling you: “Too much good, too much good! Go back!”. This is the point in which you can become aware of your own resistance and fears and start digging deep within yourself.

Ask yourself the following question: “What am I afraid of?” The immediate answer may seem that you are afraid of being heavy your whole life. Or it may be that you feel afraid of never getting your eating under control, etc… But you have to realize that beneath that fear, there is a deeper one: the fear of being magnificent, beautiful and authentic.

How can we not be afraid of our own magnificence if we live in a world that casts a shadow upon it? As you break free from the societal standards, your self-reflections around others and the false sense of security that the material world brings, your fear will be reduced. When you no longer fear the world so much, you will be more comfortable dwelling in it. And as you dwell more comfortable in the world, you will begin to dwell more comfortably in your own skin, which will make you subconsciously create a more comfortable body.

Remember that this is a process that requires will and patience! And most importantly, is requires you to be very loving and compassionate towards yourself. This is not a race, as there is no goal, there is nothing to achieve, but your own self-discovery as a being that already has all and is all.

Please know that you are not alone, you have the support of the whole Universe, and of course, if you need that extra “physical” support, I’d love to work with you!

Many blessings,
Monica
