Money is not the only Measure of Success Considering money as the only success measure can be very discouraging, especially when we start a business or new venture, join a networking marketing company, or go through changes and business expansions. When I hear the frustrations from my clients of small companies, large organizations, or network marketing businesses about the lack of financial progress, I work with them on two key areas to transform the results. Whether it’s making a prospecting call to a promising business contact, giving an informal “elevator speech” to a networking group, or attempting to close a transaction, there are certain key moments when putting your best-dressed foot forward really matters. Some of life’s fortunate people seem to be naturally at their best under this kind of pressure. The rest of us have to learn. Confidence matters. Few would argue that developing confidence is a good investment. You’ll b
When I meet my clients for the first time, the majority of people actually know deep down what they SHOULD be doing, but they are not moving forward due to fear of what COULD happen. We often fear the worst if we change a habit or behavour fearing that other people won't like it or that we won't be able to handle the outcome. In addition, I often hear people say that they tried to do something different, but then were over come with guilt or a feeling of uncomfortable so they reverted back to the old behaviour again as it just felt easier!
Soon we’ll be getting all those television programmes that review the year just gone. There’ll be events we thought we’d never forget about, that we now can barely remember. There’ll be other apparently trivial events that stick in our memory. And unde eath it all, perhaps a nagging sensation... another year where things were much the same... same old goals set... same old nothing achieved. If this is you, STOP! I want you, right now, to stop this negative talk.
Everyone wants to be a success. As I see it, being able to succeed on your own terms is one of the big brass rings of life. Yet while many people sweat and toil on their quest to succeed, get ahead, have it all, and find happiness, they aren’t clear about what they are seeking. Armed with a ...
I will not hurry. Today I will not hurry. Today I will trust the Universe enough to surrender to the natural flow of the day. I will not push the river for the River loves me and is moving at just the right speed. Just for today I will find the space between the molecules.

Ten keys to overcome success limitations. Success, however it's defined, there are those who still far from its shores because of success limitation. Everyone that I know desires to be successful in one or every aspect of his or her live at one time or the other. For some it has been a thrilling and enjoyable experience while others it has been gruesome and an elusive dream. Why is this so? No matter how hard you have tried to succeed, you are always falling short of your expectations personally or professionally.
We all go through some tough times in life, that’s just life; it can’t always be a bed of roses, if we are going to learn and grow up. However life is the total sum of your experiences, its meaning being what you make of it. The frame you use to understand your own experiences is the most ...
1 âTHE SUCCESS FORMULAâ Success is for those who never feared about failure. It is one of the most significant qualities for a person to achieve success in his life. A person who aims at success should never have the fear of failure. If a person fearâs about his failure then he is never going to achieve success in his life. Let me first explain what is mean by success? Generally most of the people think that success is earning name and fame. If you people agree this the
It was supposed to be the year you lost the weight/trained to be a rocket scientist/ditched the husband/married the hot chick from accounts/went global. Or at least made some money. You know, the big stuff. But somehow it’s fizzled out or been swamped by the old routine or engulfed in the busywork of daily living. And you sigh, and plough on and hope for the best. You still have the big stuff on your to-do list but you’re not quite getting there. So stop and ask yourself the following questions: 1.
"The LAW of SUCCESS requires that the Law of Attraction be accompanied by the Law of Inner Alignment and the Law of Right Action!" ~ Troyann Are you in complete harmony with all components of the Law of Success? Law of Attractionr There's much more to creating success than just using the Law of Attraction. Yes, it is true that you must be able to see and feel yourself living easily and naturally within your desired success as if you are already there, however there are two additional laws you must also master. Have you ever used this as a reason not to build a business of your own…There’s too much competition for what I do?
It’s time to take the phrase “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” to a whole new level. When it comes to carats are you going for quantity or quality? VVS1 denotes a higher clarity grade diamond. Why is that important? If you are looking to make significant changes in your world, start focusing on the VVS1 Diamonds in your own life! Here’s a dichotomy. I’m too busy & I don’t have enough money. It’s not possible. If you are running around busy, busy, busy all the time with “non-income producing activities”, it’s not the best use of your time. Value Your Time!
In many ways these are tough times we live in. I know a generation older than myself certainly believes that it’s harder for youngster today then it was for them and that there aren’t the same opportunities but at least we’re not in the trenches like many young men and male teenagers had to endure during The Great War. And this is how to try and feel positive when it’s all gone wrong and the rug has been pulled out from your feet. You’ve just got to get on with it. It’s easy to say isn’t it, get up brush yourself off and try again. But it’s true.
I hope your new year has gotten off to a great start. It’s interesting how it works. We start out on January 1 fresh and new and excited. This is going to be the year that everything works. We set goals and make resolutions. Everything’s going to be great! Chances are though, by the time many of you read this, you will have given up on your goal for 2010. You’ve hit some obstacles and may be thinking that it’s just too hard. If that’s you, keep reading. If you haven’t and are still barreling toward your goals, good for you! Keep reading!
‘I just can’t do that’ ‘It’s just not meant for me’ ‘It’s impossible!’ I bet you’ve said one of the above at some point in your life. Don’t worry, I have too – a lot… ‘but it’s understandable, right?’ you may say; ‘some goals are so unrealistic for someone that there is no point even trying!’ I used to think this too until I realised 3 underlying concepts which made me realise that seemingly impossible goals are in fact very much achievable – by you. Before we start I want
Everyone has heard that it is important to set goals. We’re going to suggest a somewhat radical change to the way you currently set goals. And that radical change is this: Beginning right now… today… stop setting “YES” GOALS… in other words, goals that revolve around results and ...
I was watching the recent on-air interview reconciliation betwee Oprah and Iyanla Vanzant (a former protégé of Oprah’s who vanished from the TV scene eleven years ago) and have to say I was shocked. Shocked but not surprised that even two powerful, successful women who are each spiritual leaders in their own right fell prey to the unintended consequences that come when communications are incomplete and assumptions are made. When the lack of full confidence in who you are sets you up for disaster.

Written by Traci Brosman As we wrap up 2012, it is a good time to reflect on what we have accomplished this year and to begin thinking about what we want our life to look like in 6 months, 12 months and longer. Before you jump forward to the planning part, take some time to look at what you have accomplished. This is extremely important because many times, we focus only on what we did not get done and we ignore all of the wonderful achievements that we have done.
Have you thought about what makes you unique? What are your “different colors” like the October leaves? Many people try to fit in and do what others do instead of building on what makes them special to become all they are.
Do you get depressed when you meet an obstacle, and toss in the towel? Are your goals unrealistic, making them impossible to reach? Or do you start projects, but don't finish them? These weaknesses oftentimes derail your goals. Dr. Cloud, a noted Christian psychologist, explains on his CD, "Quarantine Your Weaknesses": "We are meant to be successful in life. In order to do that, our personal weaknesses need to be isolated from our strengths as we head towards our goals." Ho

It's a cold, cloudy, rainy day today in North Carolina, USA and yet I woke up feeling energized and filled with SELF Motivation and Persistence. In the past, an overcast day had the potential to send me into a state of low energy which would often lead me into throwing myself a nice long pity party. However... it is different now! I am different now! I woke up this morning and - despite the gloominess of my outer environment - I feel happy, energized and filled with SELF motivation to have a productive day.
By Lisa Christiansen The article I wrote conce ing Long Term Care (LTC) generated enough response to have a follow-up. I realize I need to provide two more articles to address numerous questions, the first one going over some of the points I tried to make in the first article in more detail and the final one showing some of the features and options if one considers buying a LTC policy.
Why Sell? Despite all the jokes you may have heard about salespeople and the condescension many people display toward the sale profession, salespeople are absolutely vital to the success of any organization. I’ve been a salesman all my life, and I’ve always been proud to call myself a salesman.r
Successful people like Richard Branson, Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are known to have tremendous passion, determination and a vision far beyond to see opportunities instead of limitations. What is the secret to successful entrepreneurship? Is it passion? Vision or focus? Is it persistence and hard work? Harvard Business School (HBS) researched this question and identified behaviors that make entrepreneurs successful in their article here <http://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/skills-and-behaviors-that-make-entrepreneurs-successful>.
We have a tendency to respond and act to situations and our circumstance in regards to the convictions and thoughts that we harbor consistently, and the formed after effects of those actions in the long run bring about the quality and conditions of our lives. We have objectives we need to accomplish; still we just work towards them when it’s favorable or advantageous. The issue with this attitude is that we look everywhere for every conceivable reason to not begin. It’s additionally the sort of attitude and approach that divides the top achievers from those who struggle.
What are you wearing to work today? Nothing says "In charge" or "professional" more than a suit. If you are a "Chick In Charge" or want to stand in your feminine power at work chances are you own 1, 2 or 3 Business Suits. Some of the suits in my closet include skirt suits with fitted and shaped jackets which are quite trendy this season. My preference however is dresses and I only wear suits if I have to. If you are a "Fashionista" the professional suit is always in style but I think it's important to make it your own.

Someone once said, "If you strive for nothing, you'll hit it every time." In other words, setting goals prevents you wondering aimlessly through life. Goal setting = Success Goal setting is the process of deciding where you want to get in life, and then plotting out a number of steps to lead you there. Success is something we make for ourselves. Fortune has nothing to do with it. All successful people set goals. Some may have an organized routine, others a “vision”. Some may not even purposely set goals at all. But the process is the same.
In the medical community, "obesity" is generally said to be present in women with more than 30% body fat and men with more than 25% body fat. "Morbid obesity," a more serious condition still, occurs when a person is 50-100% or 100 pounds above his or her ideal body weight or has more than 39% ...

Doug Campbell, an author and a fire systems analyst in Ventura, CA has always been a passionate man. Anyone who knows him knows that he is passionate about his time, his choices and his career in training firefighters. It did not take him long to see the importance of having a mission statement. Campbell saw the value in recognizing strengths in his organization, clarity of his purpose, and a detailed description and answer as to why he was in the business.
As promised in my note above, my “article” today consists of a series of questions that will help you contemplate who you are, who you want to become and continue to be moving forward. Take some time this week (and continue to do this process on an ongoing basis) to just sit and allow these questions to bubble around in your mind. Write down whatever comes up for you. This kind of contemplation leads to deeper self-understanding and success, in both life and work, and directl

We've all likely seen the Latin aphorism, "Nosce Te Ipsum" on the plaque sitting on the bookshelf in our doctor's office - or even hanging over the Oracle's door in "The Matrix" (thanks to Wikipedia for that). Or if not, we've almost certainly heard time and again the English translation, "Know Thyself". The suggestion to "Know thyself" is certainly a lofty one: a time immemorial line of philosophical and religious inquiry and debate with no definate answers. A personal ponderance that can be crazy-making if we're not careful.
Many years ago I had the privilege to participate in Dr. Deepak Chopra’s “The Soul of Leadership” program. It was a wonderful and inspiring program filled with information about synchronicity, spirituality and leadership. Dr. Deepak Chopra shared with us how elephants are trained in India. When I discovered the book: UNCHAIN THE ELEPHANT; Reframe your thinking to Unleash Your Potential, by Erik Wahl I thought about it again. This elephant metaphor has often been used to illustrate the power of our limiting beliefs:
All the time we have images on our mind, images that inspire us or images that increase worry and doubt. We actually think in pictures. Just pay attention to what’s on your mind all day - your thoughts and images. We know the body’s performance is an expression of what is going on in our mind, and our subconscious keeps us on an autopilot all day unless we interject and take charge of our life. As it has been illustrated may times with the “lemon example,” the subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what is “real” and what is imagined.
