Is it time for you to unplug? I mean really unplug. Stop multi-tasking, going, and doing for awhile; just breathe and be. We live in a world of ever growing technology which is absolutely wonderful, but it is important to remember to return to the basics now and then. Make time to enjoy your home, or take in the scenery, or go on an outing, or a vacation, or spend time with family and friends. Sit down and a read a book, not just for a couple of hours, but for a whole day. Or, do some creative writing, or journal, or go for a hike, bike ride, or trip.
Get Your D.I.N. Degree, Do It Now or You May Miss The Boat. A Self Help Motivational Article. By Shirley Carton © 2009 I was given advise from my Grandmother, as a child, never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. However when I grew up as an adult, I always seemed to have so many responsibilities. I had listened to her and I did become efficient and orderly. I could get so much more done, in a short time, and I definitely became a workaholic. I always completed as many tasks as I could before I went to bed. I never started anything that I didn’t finish.
Whether you want to achieve short term goals or manifest life long dreams it all begins with the end in mind; knowing inside and out what results you want. The more clearly you are able to visualize what you want and get a sense physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally how it will ...
âCreation begins with a vision. Seeing is already a creative operation that requires an effort. All that we see, in our daily lives, is more or less deformed by our acquired habits . . . The artist must see everything as if for the first time; he must look at all of life like a child.ân ~Henri Matisse~nnnâSo thatâs the basic point, the idea of how to appreciate your life in a very deliberate, mindfulness sense, so that your sense perceptions begin to click into the sa
How many times have you heard the story about the guy who buys the “Get Rich In Real Estate” home study course from a late night TV infomercial? Perhaps he’d gotten a jolt of inspiration, purchased the course and subsequently goes on to never making a dime in real estate. Or what about the story ...
Your freedom of choice and the freedom to effect change in your own life is extremely powerful. This is a basic freedom we’ve all been blessed with at birth that we can use to accomplish extraordinary things in life. If you fail to use this freedom to your advantage however, you’ll have no one ...
With all the hustling and bustling and pressures of day to day demands at work and/or at home, either self induced or from others, people are stressed and struggling to find a balance and a sense of happiness in their day, let alone in their lives. People may start off in the morning in a positive way, but often by mid-day it quickly fades to outer or inner grumblings, and their energy and mood diminishes right along with it.
The beginning of 2011 has been about releasing old stuff (yes, still!). A lot of us have been saying "goodbye" to people, places, things that were ready to go (whether we felt that way or not) and parts of ourselves that no longer serve us. The planet received some cosmic energy transmissions and dealing with this and the "goodbyes" can have been exhausting. The first few weeks of 2011 were not "perky".r
God's grace can mean many things. I like to think of it as a gift we are given by the benevolent power that works in our life. Some might call it a blessing. In terms of recovery I sometimes feel grace is doing me a favor. Grace is giving me what I need at the time I need it.
How fulfilled we are in our lives often depends on our perspective. If we focus on what is wrong with our health, what is irritating us in our relationships, what’s missing in our career or how many bills we have piling up we will feel dissatisfied. On the other hand if we if we view the glass ...
Visualization is something it took me a long time to understand, read: agree with. You can then read "agree with" to mean: to be able to effectively practice. Effective practice is to do something over and over again with the least resistance possible. Usually our resistance to practice comes from not having faith in the outcome, and that's usually as a result of not having practiced enough! It's an endless circle, but one that can easily be worked with for our success. Let's begin this practice for success with an understanding of what visualization is not.
The line between assertiveness and defensiveness is usually blur to us when we respond during a stressful moment. But crossing that line can be the difference between success and missed ~or even blown~ opportunity. After more than 20 years working with spiritual, creative women in the areas of empowerment, success and manifestation, I have a wealth of observations about how defensiveness hinders our fulfillment.
Kerala is verifiably a standout amongst the most awe inspiring goals in the southern piece of the nation. Intrinsically connected with this heaven on earth are its glimmering backwaters, shiny shorelines and lavish patches of land. Favored with different beautiful districts, this serene state is an immaculate spot to develop close with your life partner. To begin another part of existence with your significant other in God's Own Country is a genuine rapture. Quietness and smo
Last week I heard a woman interviewed on our local “personal development” radio station. She had just returned from a retreat with a Master. She was asked what was the most powerful transformation she had experienced during the retreat. She answered that she now felt more like the Master, whom she described as living his life, “totally in service” and as being, “completely self-less”. I thought, “What’s the problem with having a self?”
Part 1: First of all, in order to give something up, we would have to know what that something actually is. Not what we believe it is, or think it is, but what it actually is. This is a difficult disce ment to make with regard to judgments because there is a line regarding our perceptions of what is a judgment, and what is not a judgment, that when crossed, triggers our automatic mind system to reward us with the feeling of "being right" and the key point is, whether we are correct with our assessment, or not.
First of all I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and/or a Happy Holiday season. Let me ask you a question, what are you going to do next year that will make you a better person than you were this year, last year or the year before? Are you going to improve your finances, your health, your relationship with God, or hopefully, all of the above? Will your goals help to make the world a better place and benefit those around you? If so, great! Now, what's your plan?
What images and notions come up for you when think about love? Warm and fuzzy feelings, babies cooing, romance, heartache, loyalty and devotion are some associations to the word. Do you have any rules and expectations around love such as how people should treat their loved ones, or who you can ...
Perfection (doing it right) is not required to be a Spiritual Teacher. Actually, imperfection is required. Imperfection opens the way for connection and safety, which are absolutely required for a Teacher (more on this later). If I had to be perfect, I probably wouldn't be writing this and you wouldn't be reading this article. If I had to be perfect I would never be doing the work that I love so much. If I had to be perfect, my children would (probably) not be the happy, successful and wonderfully amazing people that they are (at least not yet).r
The year starts with an interesting mix of uncertainty and hope. In moments like this we need to be more like players than watchers of our lives... and there is nothing like the combination of purpose and group support to do so. I don't know of any successful person who has not used intention and leverage. Do you?
So what could your success in a home business possibly have in common with an innocuous singer named Susan Boyle? A lot; here you go… In only three days times, and at the time of this writing, video clips of a singing performance by somebody named Susan Boyle – a completely unknown singer – ...
TB Wright This will be a short article on the one most important factor in your life, in your success, and for the world, and that is: you. Unless you are as fully immersed within your own self-love, which means to be experiencing your inherent, already existing, never going anywhere, self-worthiness, then you are not reaching your full potential. My invitation? Start practicing. The way to start practicing is to do The Loving Process© over, and over, and over, again. How many times do you need to do those pushups?
Emotions are normal. They aren't right or wrong, they just ARE. We feel them in response to things that happen to us. The type of emotion we feel depends on the kind of experience we've had. The problem with emotions is that often we carry around old emotions from past experiences. We're ...
Today I had a chance to read one of Rick Smyre’s articles, “Transforming the 20th Century Mind.”(http://www.communitiesofthefuture.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=130:transforming-the-20th-century-mind&catid=37:articles&Itemid=91) Just before reading this I watched President Obama's Heath Care speech. I wonder if, “the living, reigning republicans will adapt to the changes in the environment - the extent to which they can do so successfully will determine their place in the evolutionary scale." (Please excuse the Richard Restack adaptation.
Stuckness By, TB Wrightnnn At one time or another we all have said that we were "stuck." Let's examine this declaration, because saying those words is exactly what it is: a stand for being stuck. So what does it mean to be stuck? It usually means that there's somewhere we want to be at, either ...
Once we know what intention is, and is not, this distinction allows us to become specifically aware of its location in our bodies. Just like no one puts their shoes up in the same way when they get home, everyone has a different place where they store the energy of their intentions. This ...
So I'm sitting in a local coffee joint with my new friend Ben. He's young, excited, a talented photographer and just waiting to see what the world will bring him next. And like most 18 year olds, his view of the world is limited to what he's already seen. He knows he wants something more ...
What you believe about yourself and your world will determine what you create in your life. Beliefs are not good or bad, right or wrong. They can be supportive or limiting. They are either reflections of your deeper truth supporting you to blossom, or they are lies limiting you from being and ...
Forgiveness is a life-affirming, conscious act of power, not weakness, because the forgiver holds and uses this power to free and heal all those involved, both victim and perpetrator, so both can become whole human beings again. This tremendous power to forgive the unforgivable is beyond letting go. It is actually a reintegration and formation of a new, healthy, and whole relationship with the self and others. The steps taken inr
Balance and Success. It today's world it seems like the two words are mutually exclusive. How can we have success in society's terms and still find balance in our lives? Is it even possible? I have great news for you, the answer is yes! How do I know this? Because as a success coach and ...
All things exist only in relationship to other things. If only one thing existed then, there would be no way to compare or reference it to, anything else. It would be invisible, because it would be all there was. So we seek to gain a perspective, or: "a specific point of view in understanding or judging things or events, esp. one that shows them in their true relations to one another." We do this in order to view of things in their true relationships to each other.
The human mind is an incredible thing. It is what keeps us conscious, thinking and learning, however for some people it is also the cause of anxiety and worry. Overthinking, worrying and constantly imagining the worst case scenario is a real infliction for people around the world and it is commonly referred to as catastrophic thinking, or âcatastrophisingâ as it has become more commonly known. At some point in our life, we will all experience some form of catastrophic thi
The topic of self-improvement is fascinating, addicting and is just plain fun. The study of self growth forces you to look at yourself in ways that you may not have thought of on your own. Getting to better understand your strengths and identifying your weaknesses will provide the stepping ...

TB Wright It seems as if we all desire to improve our lives. But in order to do something, we have to first understand what exactly, that something is. Since we desire to improve our lives, what does that mean? Improve? According to the dictionary, it means "to increase in value, to bring about a more desirable or excellent condition." Since the specific details for each one of us that we would have to bring about in order to do that, are different, then to each one of us, to "improve" means something different!
Have you ever experienced moments of feeling 'stuck' in life? Or perhaps moments where you're not sure whether you're coming or going? Moments of indecision? Moments where it seems that nothing you do appears to work or change things? Many at one time or another go through these experiences, so know that you are not alone if you have answered 'yes' and can relate to these questions. However, here's another question - how's it working for you?
What is Awareness?nnLet's begin by asking the question, "what is awareness?" The Oxford University Press dictionary tells us that awareness is our "knowledge or perception of a situation or fact." A great definition, but letâs dare to take it a few steps further. Letâs define awareness as the connection we feel with the world around us. Letâs also include in the definition the satisfaction we feel with our own lives. For it is awareness that directly influences both of

What Is Success? We have as many different answers to this question as there are people in the world. So let's provide a paradigm for success that works for every single one of them, with no one, and nothing, left out. Is success how much money we have? Or how many people love us? Maybe, how many people we know? Is success the attainment of wealth, fame, or fortune? Popularity then? Perhaps a loving family? Being at the top rung of an imagined corporate or government ladder?
We are each manifesting all the time. Everything we have in our lives was created by us. The question is how have we been creating? Has it been from a place of conscious intention or out of reaction? From a state of ease and trust or resistance and fear? Have we been creating for ourselves ...

TB Wright *This article is specifically designed to start a thought process that will lead us away from dissatisfaction, and on to satisfaction, through practice. This takes time. The invitation is to give yourself that time, and to practice the "tell the truth now, tell the truth later" method of success, which always works toward our satisfaction. We all have a myriad of things we like. No problem. We all have a myriad of things we do. No problem either. All of us also be, do, and have, a lot of things other than that which we like.
Winter has been a time of turning inward, reflecting and growing within. Now Spring brings the opportunity to burst forth with our energy and enthusiasm for life. Warmer temperatures and sunlit blue skies can bring a smile to anyone’s face, but no matter what season we are in or what exte al ...
Look folks, you don’t need me to tell you how bad the general economy is today. My heart breaks for anyone who faces uncertain times as a result of our crumbling corporate structure. I really believe this is a pivotal time in our history. A time where many people will turn to the home ...
Those words were drummed into me by my father so many times, I long ago stopped counting up the reasons why he said what he said. Despite the untruth of them, after a while, they started to sink in. Do anything long enough, and it will become your habit, even the phrases you think with, and that influence the way you feel about your life. For the first forty years of my life, his words determined how I felt, what I did, and how I reacted to circumstances, but not in the way he would have liked them to, I am certain.
I used to think that there was a Road to Happiness, and if you could get on that road, you'd end up someplace pretty wonderful, as if Happiness were the destination. I've been on a lot of roads, and although some of them lead to some beautiful places, I've yet to find the road that brings me to ...
The word “niche” evokes visions of some guy only collecting comic books that have monkeys in them, or a blogger who only writes about staplers, or an online store that only sells crackers made in Colorado. Artists and entrepreneurs seem to think the word “niche” is synonymous with small, or tiny. A more accurate definition would be highly targeted, focused, and clearly defined market. Although the definition tends to make artists and entrepreneurs gravitate toward something small, a niche audience is actually much bigger than what most people think.
ARE YOU IN TRANSITION? nBE A CATERPILLAR!nBy Judy Aizuss, M.S.nnOkay - whether by choice or not, you find that you are now in a transition phase. Maybe you were laid off from work, or you decided to quit and pursue a new career. Maybe you are newly divorced or suddenly widowed, and must start life anew on your own. Much as I like his music, Tom Petty had it wrong when he wrote “The Waiting Is The Hardest Part.” It’s 12:10 am on Tuesday. I’m leaving for Scottsdale, Arizona in six hours and nine minutes. Sitting in my living room now typing these words. I unpacked the laptop, since I gave up on the idea of ...
