The first individual believes----no, EXPECTS---to achieve great things, and has a big vision for what she can contribute. The other has some reason, some FEAR—false expectations appearing real—at the conscious and often unconscious level---for not stepping up and doing what she knows is hers to do, no more, no less.
Laurie Cabot claimed her AUTHORITY, her position in Salem and in the Witchcraft World, and that very act is what makes all the difference in life and in business.
Traditionally, it has been easier for men to claim their sense of authority in a particular area than for women. For one thing, women often handle so many different things, that they are spread very thin, and never get to feel as if they are expert in any one thing.
In business, having a big vision is important, but narrowing down your focus to become the “expert “ in a certain area is the sure way to monetize your gifts. The more focused and actually “niched” you can be, the clearer you can be with your marketing message
You may even claim that you are the Official (You fill in the blanks) in your field, because you not only have certain skills, but you have the willingness to own the power of your own brilliance.

unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our prescience automatically liberates others.”
Here are the 5 Golden Keys to claiming your position as an official expert in your particular area, which you can craft into compelling pull marketing materials for your business. This will help you hone your message and attract the ideal clients you can help the most, and who will pay you gratefully for your gifts:
1. Write out your own compelling story of transformation. Really, it is always about having faced some fear, and against all odds, or in spite of circumstances, you have passed through an ordeal and become more aware, successful, wealthy, healthy or wise. Your experience gives you’re the right to claim a certain authority---if you will do that. It will also connect you empathically to your “ideal clients.”
2. Reflect deeply on the steps you took to make this transformation, rather than caving into fear (false evidence appearing real). If you were a frazzled mother of an ADHD child, and you learned or created a way to bring sanity back to a family who has such a child, you have earned the right to be an authority in that field. It is your Divine Duty to share that with others.
3. Do the deep work of getting clear who your truly ideal clients are. Let go of the need to serve everyone. You cannot be all things to all people. Experts are considered more valuable. If you have a heart problem, you want the top cardiologist, and not the top orthopedic surgeon. You know who you can help the most.
4. Create a signature system from the steps you realize are necessary to move through the transformation your ideal clients want. You know this. You can give a teleclass and record it and create a product from that. Don’t make the mistake of waiting until someone else declares you an expert for this to happen.
5. Get out there in a big way!!!! That begins with getting known for your area of expertise or authority in the community you live in, through speaking engagements, networking , talking with as many people as you can about your own transformation and what you can do for people. Focus on the results people get from you, the benefits. They will begin to self-select. You will become a magnet!!! Your ideal clients will be happy to pay you for what you do for them.
If you create your business in this way you will manifest an authentic business where you are a natural authority in your area of expertise. You will develop a confidence and sense of place that is highly attractive, and pulls in a steady stream of ideal clients.
You will be taking your power back from all the fears, one by one, as you step into the purposeful life you were meant to live. You can become the Official!
