Got a big but?

What is preventing you from doing what you need to do?

What is stopping you from saying what you need to say?

What needs to happen before you can summon up the courage or find the mindset to do it or say it so that you can be done with it.

The problem is that we know what needs to be done or said, but more often than not our ‘but’ gets in the way:

I need to do it today but...
I wanted to call her yesterday but...
I had it in mind to tell him but...

We exercise the ‘but’ by overstepping and sidestepping. The ‘but’ gets bigger and the longer we carry it around the more it weighs us down! Because deep down, we know that we’ll have to face up to it eventually.

And in the intervening days, weeks, months, or years that we hang back, we attach a negative energy to it and it becomes a source of angst or aggravation. Unless you can let it go in such a way that it’ll never bother you again, you’ll have to do something about it.

Kick your ‘but’ and make a move.

No more excuses.
