When work, commitment, and pleasure all become one and you reach that deep well where passion lives, nothing is impossible. ~ Author Unknown

Passion is defined as “powerful emotion” and “boundless enthusiasm”. When you bring emotion and enthusiasm to your lifework, negatives don’t matter. All things become possible. Your commitment to your passion will lead you to Wisdom in pursuing your dream.

Have you ever heard of “the passion of Christ”? Do you really understand why they describe his persecution and death as His Passion? He was devoted to God’s plan for his life, committed to the dream He had for mankind’s salvation. He was passionate about what He had to accomplish in order to see the results of His ‘dream’. Jesus used the tool of ‘powerful emotion’ to carry Him from Gethsemane to Glory. He used passion to defeat the very real human emotions that He must have felt. He knew that giving in to fear or temptation would destroy His dream. Passion is the power that will carry you forward to victory.

To increase your chance for success in any area, concentrate your efforts on something you truly enjoy. Your passion will automatically lead you to more effort. Passion adds power to your thoughts, drawing from Universal Mind the things you need to accomplish your goals and dreams.

• What are you passionate about?

• What dream lurks in the hidden reaches of your mind?

• What is your image of a successful life?

Take it out, dust it off. Begin to focus your mind on your dream – the outcome you desire. Just thinking about your dream will begin the process of manifestation. Your subconscious (your spirit) will grab hold of the images you project on the “big screen” of your mind. Your spirit then connects with Spirit to draw from the universe whatever you need for success.

FIND YOUR PASSION:

To start out, make a list of everything you find interesting.
• What captures your attention?
• What ideal or goal are you committed to achieving?
• What contribution do you want to make to mankind?

In a second column, list the skills you have in relation to each of those items. This will help you narrow your choices based on interest and skill. The powerful combination of passion and talent will get you started in the right direction for life-long success.

Pursuing your passion is one way to improve your self-image. Finding something you can be passionate about will also help you avoid depression. Passion turns your focus outward, away from self, toward your goals.

Passion and perseverance are the intangible assets of your life. With them, you can accomplish miracles and live the life you’ve always dreamed of!
