What is Spiritual Life Coaching anyhow? Do we sit around and talk about God or philosophize about the Universe? Do I have to be religious to go to a Spiritual Life Coach?

The answers to these questions will vary from coach to coach. Many coaches incorporate some type of spirituality into their work, but may not necessarily refer to themselves as a Spiritual Life Coach. On the other hand, there’s a broad range of different types of Spiritual Life Coaches from which to choose. Some may be more metaphysical in their approach, or use tools such as the Law of Attraction in their coaching. The goal is to find someone who you’re comfortable with in sharing your deepest thoughts and desires. Successful coaching depends on impeccable trust between the client and the coach.

Spiritual coaching is based around the belief that each human being is connected to God, Spirit, or a Divine Presence, and that we are all connected to each other and the Universe around us as well. With that awareness, it allows for both the coach and the client to work from a space of being able to tap into a wisdom greater than themselves. Spiritual Life Coaching is trusting in that innate wisdom that each of us has and that we can connect to given the opportunity. It’s integrating the client’s beliefs into a creative, intuitive relationship where answers and guidance can be found by incorporating the presence of Spirit.

Spiritual Life Coaching is great for people who are already on a spiritual path and know that they are responsible for their lives and what they create. Working with a Spiritual Life Coach can expand their consciousness and their spirituality to can even greater level. It can be an exciting experience to work with a coach one-on-one learning how to harness Universal Principals and Spiritual Truths to create the life of their dreams.

Generally, what Spiritual Life Coaching is not, is an exploration of religious beliefs and dogma about individual religious preferences. It’s the coach’s job to support each client in the client’s own belief system, whatever that may be, and find ways to support them on their own spiritual path. That said, even if a person is not particularly religious or spiritual, they can still go to a Spiritual Life Coach and discover new ways of connecting to their own innate wisdom and intuition.

Integrating spirituality into the coaching experience is a wonderful way to increase your connection with yourself and to others, learn to be fully available in the present moment, and be able to take responsibility and be accountable for your choices in life. Spiritual Life Coaching emphasizes self-honoring and speaks to the power of Spirit to facilitate self-discovery of the client’s true self.

As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin put it so beautifully,
“We are not human beings having a Spiritual experience. We are Spiritual beings having a human experience.”

Spiritual Life Coaching will assist you in having the greatest human experience you can have while living creating the life your truly want to live.
