Hi,
Chris Alley here. Today’s topic is accepting the positive. Of all the situations that occur in a given day you can chose what to accept. What I mean by that is that you can decide what kind of day you are going to have by staying positive. Let’s take what happened to me today. I come to Orlando to stay in a resort for a week. I printed up directions on the Internet and they were incorrect. I spent an extra hour and a half on the road than necessary. I had a choice in this situation. I could have gotten mad at the Internet directions, creating tension on the ride, and then creating other things to be upset about, but I did not. Instead, I was calm and looked at the situation positively. I really got to see some beautiful country scenery and took advantage of the situation to have a good time and laugh with my wife and 2 children. As a result, when we made our destinatio
I was in a great mood and immediately started to enjoy the resort upon arrival. I had a choice today and I chose to accept the positive.
It just goes to show that life can be interpreted in ways that we have control over just like painting a picture on a blank canvas. We are the artists of our life!

About the Author

I am married with two children, one daughter and one son. I live in sunny Florida, taking in as much fun as possible. I always thought that working hard and putting in my time would get me where I wanted to be. What it got me was into the Rat Race, where I was getting closer and closer to achieving someone else's goals. What working hard for someone else got me was about and 1 hour and a half to spend with my family each day since my job required leaving before my family woke up and coming home tired after a long day. I decided who I was being is not who I dreamt of being. So I made a choice! I am someone who believes in time freedom. I want to leave a legacy of family, love and tradition paired with fulfillment of lifestyle we all deserve. I believe in assisting others to improve their lives. I am someone who lives life with no regrets and lives life with integrity and values of my gut instincts. I believe in giving back to the community in the form of money or time. Above all, I am there for my loved ones when they need me to be.

Looking ahead to the New Year and how you expect it to unfold, can be tempting to get absorbed in whatever is currently trending, or whatever is “doom-ing and gloom-ing” at the moment. But if, on the contrary, you find you are living someone else’s life via trending, or depressed and distressed by

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
