Love is a high vibrational energy. In fact, it is the strongest energy in all living beings.
The energy of love generates from within. To enjoy love we must look at our inner-self and appreciate our innate nature. Love also means that we introspectively study our personality and take actions to rectify and improve self-defeating negative emotions. Often, our lack of self-love and self-esteem can originate from our childhood and the life experiences of our parents.
As a relationship therapist, I work with many people to help them release dysfunctional patterns from their subconscious mind. My client Michaela is working on her unhealthy relationship pattern. When I first met her, she was very unhappy with herself and her relationships in general. Even though she has a good job, is young and very attractive, she has very little self-love. I observed that her heart-center was partly closed off and she could not relate to the energy of love at all. People usually avoided her because they sensed she was very cold. In spite of her best efforts, Michaela could not maintain meaningful long-term relationships. This was a pattern that she had been experiencing all through her life.
At the very first day of our therapy work, she questioned why her love life was so empty. In our course of work, I helped her to discover that in her childhood she had observed her mother lived a very similar pattern. Michaela and her four siblings were raised by a single mother. Michaela’s mother tried her best to improve her children’s life by getting involved with many “father figures.” None of the men brought her happiness in life. She struggled to support her children, and she was unable to give enough love to Michaela when she was young. Therefore Michaela did not grow up experiencing the feeling of love.
The memory of her mother’s suffering is vivid in Michaela’s mind. Therefore she has closed her heart in the fear of being hurt like her mother. My lesson to her is that love is the energy that needs to be cultivated within. If you have love within then only you can attract a similar kind of energy – love. If you do not resonate with self-love and self-respect, it will be hard for you to find someone who will love you, respect you. Michaela agreed to work with me on opening up her heart and letting go of her past negative emotions. I am now helping her with healing work to open her heart in a safe environment, as it is the most essential requirement for her self-development.
Michaela has been using the StressFreeTools meditation programs for a couple of months and the programs have helped her to open her subconscious mind. The guided meditations are gradually changing her life. In a busy working day, she can listen to the meditation tracks while sleeping because even though her conscious mind sleeps her subconscious mind can follow the guided meditations. Michaela is now making good progress, feeling happiness within and has attracted a few caring people in her life.
