Leo: Worrying about “Not enough” will keep you from seeing all that there is or can be. Reconnect with your gratitude attitude.

Virgo: Friends helps you sort emotions or gain a detached neutrality. A relationship could be the confusion or irritation.

Libra: “OMG, I’m turning into my mother (or father) !”. Stress can trigger old programming, unconscious reactions now.

Scorpio: Travel may stretch the budget but a friend in need could be the reason for the trip – or a friend travels to visit you.

Sagittarius: You want to get real or serious about money, investments, business but Mercury retrograde could delay plans & moves.

The moon in the cardinal water sign of emotional Cancer today is setting a moody, touchy tone for your day. A supportive sextile aspect between the Cancer moon and action oriented Mars in the mutable earth sign of Virgo creates an interesting dynamic. When I look at Mars in Virgo, I think of the line from a nursery rhyme that goes, “When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid. ” So you could find your responses to a situation to be kind or arbitrarily nasty. Also, it is not unusual for a Cancer moon transit to make people swing from one emotional extreme to another. We absorb and react to the energy of other people more strongly under the influence of a sensitive water vibration moon. Persnickety meets moody today! To complicate matters further, Mercury retrograde in expansive Sagittarius is forming a challenging square to Chiron in Pisces conjunct Neptune in Aquarius. Confusion, distortion, deception, assumptions, crazy situations or stories, irrational thinking or a tendency to imagine “worst case scenario”, even when there is not enough information to come to an accurate assessment of a situation, is possible now. Examine your emotions carefully and choose your reaction or response to each person or situation by imagining yourself in their position. Comfort may also be found by sorting and organizing clutter or taking care of essentials at home or for the health of your body, mind or spirit. Some of us may need to get out of our heads today and into our hearts more. After analyzing something, simply feel it before coming to a decision. In light of the Mercury retrograde and that square aspect involving Mercury, avoid making important decisions today if you can. There are too many highs and lows of emotion now and too much diffusion of mental energy. We are only as smart as our heart now, which knows no true reason or logic, so go with the flow and administer caring, sharing, tolerance and exceptions to rules as much as possible.

While you swim through the emotional ocean of a Cancer moon transit, it helps to remember that the moon will soon enter the fiery realm of sun-ruled Leo. In the meantime, do what needs to be done and choose to look both inside and up.
