Working style – No, don’t raise your eyebrow just yet. You may not actually see it but every employee has his own working style. Come on, you can’t possibly think that there are no different styles and that everyone works in the same manner. Go on and observe your employees and you will discover various working styles.
To say it in short, working style refers to the way a person tends to absorb difficult situations and the way he concentrates to solve it. Working style refers to a person’s way of dealing with various consequences. Listed below are the four different working styles of employees:

Execution
Executers are does. They believe in doing. Any time something is successfully accomplished, they become lively and bubble with confidence. And, in order to accomplish sweet success, they focus all their attention into their work. Sometimes, they are so into what they are doing that they forget to look up and tell you what they are actually doing.

One thing to note here is that they only believe in execution and not proper planning. They will jump right into work without making a plan to follow. They are not the planners at all.

Controlling
Leaders or frontrunners have a unique talent of coming up with an idea and then coaxing people to believe it. Mind you, inspiring others is no easy deal! Their leadership quality is so polished that you will be compelled to listen to them when they are talking and you will be compelled to follow them too. They are, in one way, the guiding light. Their vision is what leads the team into working.

One thing that you should keep in mind is that the entire focus of frontrunners is in leadership. More often than not it so happens that they don’t bother looking back and checking on the people who are religiously following them. They are always in the front.

Loving
Loving is a very interesting working style because they believe in building relationships. Aren’t relationships extremely important for a business? Yep. They want to work together as a team and in order to maintain that team spirit, they work really hard. They put in all their efforts into maintaining good relationships. If you really want to know what’s going on in your employees’ mind, talk to the lovers.

Remember here that they may not be extremely great workers. They are not into follow through and tangible work. They are more into making people feel really good.

Absorbing
This working style is actually pretty rare these days. Not many people want to learn more than they already know unless they are in a job that they absolutely love. Learners are assets, thus.

Those with the learning working style are disciplined and strategic. However, their strategies won’t materialize unless they work with someone else. They need a team to implement what they think about. However, they are ALWAYS ready to learn.

It is important that you have a proper balance of these four working styles in your office to end up with great results. You might have to be more meticulous in your hiring process but it is all worth the effort because a team of all the aforementioned workers is a very strong team.

Entrepreneurial Learning
What this article teaches is that every employee is blessed in a unique manner. Instead of forcing him to do stuff he is not good at, explore his strong points and use them to your advantage. That will help you as the boss and your company as a whole. Knowing about the four working styles is, thus, very important for every employer.
