Inspiration

Its funny where you find inspiration. I have the honor of working with the elderly every day. I am amazed at some of these men and women when I see their age and what they are capable of.

Today I had a woman that was 87 years old. She came in for her mammogram like she does every single year. She had the brightest eyes and was incredibly jovial. She moved as though she was in her twenties! And her smile and giggle made me ask her …..How does she do it? She winked and told me its about being active.

Later during that day I had an older gentleman that had I not seen his paperwork I would have thought he was in his 40’s. He actually was in his very late 70″s and had come in with a baseball injury!!! Imagine that! So I asked the same question…how does he do it? He told me….its about being active!

Now I also had the pleasure of interviewing a young man who just turned 20. He was full of energy..and you wouldnt believe how active he is. The things that this young man has accomplished in his life this far is just incredible. So I ask…how does he do it….and I am sure his answer too will be…its about being active.

So my friends….my colleagues, my clients…get active….put some energy into your step. Live life like today is your only day. You will be amazed at what you will achieve! YOU ARE STRONG, BEAUTIFUL AND BRILLIANT!!!!!!! So make it great!
