Messages from the Past

When I was considering what content to choose for my weekly newsletter and deciding on the layout for the newsletter etc. I decided to include a spiritual message. It also was quite natural for me to choose to connect with an energy in the spirit world and channel messages from this source. For me this was also a chance to practise on channelling messages in this way.

So I sat down and meditated and asked for guidance. I asked for an energy of great wisdom and high loving frequency who wanted to share its knowledge with the subscribers of my newsletter, to connect with me.

Just a few second later I found myself seated across an older woman of about 50 years. She was dressed in colourful clothes and making a humming sound whilst she was drumming a soft, monotone melody on an old and well used drum. There was a little fire between us and the smell of burned wood lay in the air in the tent we were in. I could hear the wind outside and instinctively knew it was deep winter and dark outside. And a feeling of peace and calmness overwhelmed me. I just sat for a while and enjoyed the good feeling of just being there.

I then asked who she was and she silently showed me images from here life.

She told me here name was Guulï and she lived at the beginning of the 12th century. She was the youngest of several siblings, and it was early clear that she would be the one to continue the spiritual path of her grandfather who was a religious and spiritual guide.

The family had waited for here and was long worried that the line would be broken because none of the other family members showed the interest or the courage necessary for the task.

When she was 7-8 years old she went to live with here grandfather to follow him and learn. He did not stay with the family; he was a nomad who wandered all over the north of Scandinavia and into both Finland and Russia, giving guidance in spiritual matters and healing the sick.

She travelled with him and learned from him until he died when she was 23 years old. Then she took over and continued the work of guiding and healing the people.

Here wrinkled and brown face radiated an extreme calmness and here eyes had a brilliant glow that I have not seen in any living human being in my lifetime. She looked at me across the fire and smiled. She had still not said a word but she was talking to me anyway.

She now lived alone and travelled the north following here intuition and the seasons. She showed me how she travelled with one or two reindeers and a sledge with here few belongings on. She lived of the nature and what the people gave here to show their appreciation for the service she provided.

I asked if she had a message for my newsletter subscribers today and she said:

- Calmness within is what you are looking for. However, most of you are just not looking in the right place!

I thanked here for showing me here life and choosing to give guidance in my newsletter in this way. Then I returned to my living room where I was sitting, and I am already looking forwards to returning to here tent and listen to what she has to teach.
