I stored my emotional pain from past and present life times, as physical pain throughout my body. What is the definition of true love? I think most people tend to think of true love as that one soul mate that 'completes' them. However, using a quote from Shaman Charles Crooks, "We are all part of the whole and not separate" creates a dilemma when it comes to this perception of true love. How can one be incomplete when we are all part of the whole? Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that true love may be something quite different. When we expect another to complete us, we are in essence stating that we are inferior. We are looking out for ourselves only.

Many friends that I know are miserable. They are unhappy with a current situation in each of their lives. I have spent 29 years as a technical researcher facilitating healings on a variety of illnesses. In the beginning, my understanding of“energy” was strictly that taught in engineering school. There was no mention of energy associated with the human body.

An elderly lady I know recently had a fall and cut her leg quite badly. The wound went deep into the tissue. Because of her age, the treatment and healing process involved keeping the injured area dry and having the wound dressed on a weekly basis. The medical staff wanted the wound to heal from the deepest part first out to the outer layers of the skin. If the skin just sealed over, the wound could fester below the surface and create more problems down the road.

Many years ago, I worked with a woman who had cancer throughout her entire body and was preparing to die. She told me how she had been fighting the disease for years, had done every treatment, and now she was at the end. I listened to her story carefully and when she was done, I asked her one simple question. I asked if she could think of any small way that the cancer had changed her life in a good way. Today I was deeply hurt by someone I thought loved me unconditionally. It happens to all of us. We become estranged from friends or family members because we discover that an action we took did not meet with the other person's approval: estranged to the point of cutting themselves off completely from us. It is at this time that we question whether that person ever really loved us or not. It could appear by their recent action that they do not. We may become miserable because we seek love from outside of us—looking for it from another.

In my personal journey to Self Realization, I discovered the Rainbow Road to Divine Perfection. It is the energy system called the chakras. The chakras are spinning vortexes of energy located just in front of the spine from the tailbone to the top of the head. They are a map of our inner world, conduits through which universal energy flows. Each chakra has a color which together create a rainbow. They are from bottom to top, red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, indigo blue and violet.

How many of you have received one of those ominous emails from another proclaiming if you ignore their request to forward, then some misfortune will befall you? We have all seen them, ranging from 'the money angel' to 'Help! My child is dying of some terrible disease' to the ubiquitous 'send if you love Jesus or God.' Each begins with some sappy story, used to tear at your heartstrings and to guilt you into responding. They then end with a warning if you do not forward, and sometimes, a promise of good fortunes if you comply.

The Situation Many people can be lonely, depressed and feel they are without friends. Rape victims and sexual abuse survivors are very prone to such feelings. In addition, they may subconsciously feel shame and guilt. This is not a fault issue...it is a matter of learned behaviors due to other people's reactions to a person's horrific events. Others reactions can cause you to feel less than you are. You feel inferior. In addition, an 'ingrained' perception of God, in which each of us is separate from Him, can add to this opinion.

How many of you are unattached, single or just plain feeling you are in a loveless relationship? Do you feel your life is empty? Are you seeking love? Authors, poets, songwriters, and the like from every age, have written more about love than any other emotion. Why do you suppose? Could it be because love is the most sought-after aspect of the human condition? Many believe that their first emotion in life is love, beginning when someone holds or touches them. Would you agree that someone, for instance, the doctor, touches anyone the minute he or she is born?

All of us long for a loving mother. Many of you may feel like abandoned children, having grown up with mothers who did not cater to your needs properly. Therefore, you may be continually searching for nurturing from others. Some of you may even be mothers yourself, and are struggling with your duties as parents. Outside forces may easily distract you for caring for your children. However, when you look at the dove, you can gain insight into how to be a successful mother. I have always loved birds, especially doves.

If you would like to create more harmony with others, it is possible. I have a family member who used to get under my skin so badly that I never wanted to pick up the phone. I would literally cringe when I recognized who was on the other end of the line. Oftentimes, I simply ignored her. She was not a bad person.

For instance, have you noticed that when pictures of earth are taken from far out in space that you cannot see most things that actually exist on earth? The surface of the earth appears smooth, yet, in reality, wide-ranging texture covers the earth's surface in the form of mountains, hills, valleys, rivers and lakes. When you move in closer, you see other details, such as houses, streets, and people.

Most of us have some healing need, whether it be physical, emotional, spiritual, social or financial. In reality, there is nothing to heal, nothing to change, nothing to fix. A perceived need for healing simply tells us that there are thoughts, emotions or karmic patterns in our field which need to be cleared in order for us to align with our true nature and remember who we are. Since the dawn of recorded history, we have marveled at the great healing masters of many faiths. They all seem to convey a similar message which is we all have the capacity to heal ourselves and others.

How many people believe they have limits? On a physical level, perhaps that has been the case. However, are you really limited from achieving anything, despite what you may currently believe? Why do you believe you are limited? Why are most children so joyous? Could it be that they do not see danger and live without limits? What changed? Do you remember, as a child, your parent stopping you from touching fire or putting your finger in an electrical socket? They did not want you to burn or shock yourself. Am I right?

From the moment you are born, two parts of you battle. It is the oldest struggle in creation. One part is the intellect and the other is our inner self, also known as the spirit or soul. The intellect's main job is to protect the body at all costs so an individual can function in this world. It does this by using the five senses of taste, smell, sight, hearing, and feeling. The intellect represents the physical side of you. The sixth sense, or your intuition, corresponds to the ethereal side of you, your spirit or soul.

When I started to open up to the causes my emotional pain and the darkness my life was taking, I began healing the issues responsible for my deep depression. I was on an accelerated path to healing, hungry for knowledge and understanding. I had started first, with group therapy at our local Wellness Centre, attending groups such as cognitive thinking and rape crisis. I seemed to process and move through issues with ease, my mind absorbing every word and every emotion.

Many people in our current world are awakening to realize that the old reasons for marriage and relationship no longer serve them. All relationships are based on agreements. In the past, these agreements have been mostly unconscious and unspoken. Two years ago, after a month of traveling, I boarded a red-eye flight from Califo ia to return home to Massachusetts. Although I had a connecting flight, I imagined being able to sleep most of the way. My first flight to Dallas was uneventful, just like you hope for. The connecting flight from Dallas however, was not.

From my experience some healings come instantly or in short periods of time and others require patience, persistence and firmness of our faith. Faith in God or Good helps to overcome our worldly trials but often because of lack of the divine knowledge we are not able to see the end of our sufferings. When human will is added to that faith we, gritting our teeth, think that we stand firmly on the ground and fulfill God’s will, but in reality we begin to feel moral weariness, dissatisfaction and discouragement.

Years ago, I immigrated to Califo ia with not much more than a prayer in my pocket and the promise of a new life awaiting me in the arms of a man I had fallen in love with. I was young. I was savvy. I was head over heels. I was either brave or crazy, or both.

I looked up the definition of the word sense on Wikipedia. It says: Senses are the physiological capacities within organisms that provide inputs for perception. Most of us tend to think of the five traditional senses when we discuss senses; sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. This classification is attributed to Aristotle. The senses, how many there are, and how they operate is still debated amongst the neuroscientists. The disagreement mainly roots in differing definitions of what constitutes a sense.

One of the hardest things about any of life's struggles is dealing with the frustration that can come with them. As with every other aspect of the struggles in life, as Christians we can turn to God and his word for help. The Apostle Paul himself taught that the secret in frustrating circumstances was to be content in all circumstances. Let us look at what he says in Philippians 4: 11-13,

Around our physical body we have an emotional, mental and spiritual body. Together they make up the wholeness of who we are. In spring, we often see very strong storms. Many times, the wind blows so hard that trees topple over. This is especially true if the tree is already old, weak or has no foundation of firm roots. I have a beautiful tree in the middle of my backyard. Last year, while having an annual tree trimming, the service informed me of a deep crack in the middle of the tree. The tree service also told me there was no way to save the tree. Therefore, they suggested I cut the huge tree down. However, my instincts told me differently.

In this world there will always be challenges in life. We are after-all imperfect people living in a fallen world. “ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23. Since none of us are perfect our lives cannot be perfect, things happen. When things happen even though they may be unintentional we end up with consequences to deal with. We are also affected by the consequences of the people around us. It is here that our ability to overcome the consequences of this world is called upon.

How many of you have wonderful feelings of unconditional love when someone judged you or whenever you judged another? A good way to gauge the answer is by your reaction to it. From my own observations, whenever someone judged me, I became angry or upset.

Every Christian should be involved in some form of ministry. Many believers especially those new to the faith, believe personal ministry is beyond their abilities. To Heal or Not to Heal? That is the question. Well, it is a question anyway. It is not a question you may have pondered too much, and if you have, given the choice of experiencing healing or to not experience healing. A close friend of mine is in her twelfth year of cancer and facing the challenges of old age, too. I called to check in on her and listened for the next half hour as she described her situation and challenges. Her pain and frustration poured out of her mouth. My friend Lydia thinks I’m weird. But...she would never go car shopping without me. Why? Because I apply Spiritual principles to whatever I do. Over the years she noticed that this always gets great results. The first time Lydia invited me to go car shopping was back in 2003. She was willing to try it my way. Nutshell: Our default setting is “Happy.” We came into this world Happy. We were not afraid, we did not judge ourselves or other people— or anything in the universe. We were One With It All. Enlightened. Gurus. But instead of people worshipping at our feet and begging us to teach them how to be so happy, they were determined to teach us to be afraid. It was the only way they could control us. They judged us, told us what was good and bad behavior; right and wrong thoughts; acceptable and non-acceptable ways of being. One thing we are all well aware of is that this world, and our existence within it, is in constant motion. Nothing stays the same, not even for a second. The earth itself is constantly rotating. The land masses are continually shifting and being re-shaped. The oceans are subject to never-ending tidal movements. Then there’s “us” humans – the populace! From the moment of conception, our lives are in constant motion. Cells dividing, multiplying, dying and regenerating. Our bodies grow and change daily. Even if we sit or lie as still as we possibly can, movement continues.

Two individuals are robbed at gunpoint. One experiences overwhelming helplessness and has a hard month. But by the end of that time, he has pretty much resolved and integrated the incident into his life. The other person experiences intense rage. Years later, she is still struggling with the negative, life-changing aftermath of the trauma. As seen in the above example, not everyone reacts to trauma in the same way. Just as pain thresholds differ, so do trauma thresholds.

The alarm is ticking and here we open our eyes to this lovely morning. But did you see the sun rise when you were rising from your bed or the first thing was your phone? I am sure it was the latter. We wake up in the morning with the phone in our hand, checking on what did we miss on social media while sleeping or messages from friends around the globe. This is our condition in the Digital Age. In fact, we are addicted to the social media too badly that we are losing our real connections.

Outside the rain patters on the roof-tops, the sky is blanket shade of mid-grey and there is a distinct chill in the air. There, doesn’t that make you feel … well not so good. For the past many years, many people have asked for a response of what so many of them are currently going through… as they feel the sadness and separations in life in the season of this time of year… and as some are just beginning to come forth from it. In the winter season, from the beginnings of December through the month of January, we find that our relationships in home and all areas of our life seem to be on the verge of destruction. Our lives have little or no meaning and we begin to explore the realms of depression from within the inner and outer words we express and live.

As we go through life handing the bumps and bruises that we all get a taste of, there’s a learning curve. Of course, the very way that we do handle that stuff determines how tough it’s going to get. Learn the lesson, it gets easier. Keep doing the same stuff, and the lesson continues until we do. Sometimes handling the rough stuff also leaves calluses; we harden up to protect ourselves from pain, disappointment, anger, and other people.

Being with the people you love. Be at peace. One day when I was particularly overwhelmed and anxious about what I was supposed to do, I received the guidance to go out and sit on my patio. The sun was shining warm on my face, the birds where singing a symphony. A gentle breeze caressed my check. And the angels gave me this most wonderful blessing of love.

When someone you love leaves the physical body the pain is intense. It feels as there a huge hole has been torn in your heart and gut. You are shocked, it's impossible to accept, to get your head around the fact that no longer will you be able to talk with your loved one. This is grief. It's a pain so intense that only those who have experienced it understand the feeling of it. As a mother of four children I can tell you that giving birth in no ways is as painful as getting word that your child has been killed in a car accident.

Everything, and I mean every thing, remains a theory, an idea, information, a concept until it becomes our very own experience. Receiving is quite the amazing experience... it is the beginning of the life you most want to live. It is the actualizing of what you wish to be and all you already are. All action begins with the act of receiving. Receiving must be the first step we take. Until and unless we receive of ourselves, we will never know the reality of receiving anything outside of ourselves.

We are all living in a collective momentum of our past. It hasn't been till recently that there has been such a broad interest in diverse ideas and beliefs. If you imagine the 1950's, the entire nation was walking in step with one collective attitude towards the direction our society should go. If you were not totally, 100% patriotic, then you were possibly the enemy. Because I was driving in hectic traffic, I was concentrating on following the rules of the road. Sure enough, the traffic light ahead turned yellow, I slowed down and followed the rule to stop. First, let’s clarify the difference between acceptance and spiritual acceptance.
