Before I get started, it's important that you understand the meaning of self help, self improvement and personal development. In a nut shell, it's precisely as it reads, every and anything related to improving or developing yourself. For instance, career, relationships, health, matters of the mind, etc.. Self help is basically any form of information, or tools that helps an individual to help themselves.

Have you ever had a time in your life where you just wanted tomorrow to come NOW? or even didn't want the day to end because you was having such a great time? you've had days like that, haven't you? I bet you even have a big smile on your face just reflecting on those 'special moments'...

If you are in the slightest bit interested in personal development or self improvement, aim to get 'First things FIRST'. Put another way, start from the bottom and work your way up. Picture this, imagine I gave you a recipe, it wouldn't be sensible to begin at step 10, would it? This is also true with self improvement...

So, let's do it right and start from the crucial first step!...

STEP ONE is the most important step of the 5, it has a major role in what we all crave in life - Happiness! Step one is not only the most important step, but also isn't easy. It's at this point that you build your life's foundational values, these values have to be the right kind, they must be SUPER STRONG values.

STEP TWO deals with fitting the pieces to your self improvement puzzle. Basically, you have to 'know', or have a theory, about what the meaning of life is. 'Knowing' this, will help you to put direction to your life. Consider my theory of life's meaning - "Life is a never ending, 'roller coaster' journey of CHOICES and EMOTIONS". Ultimately, everybody wants to be happy. Now for step three...

STEP THREE, is to find, or understand, what YOUR purpose in life is. Put another way, "what were you put on this planet to do?" Don't worry, this isn't as difficult or mysterious as it may sound, we all have the perfect 'tool' for doing this - Our EMOTIONS. That's right, your emotions can be your best friend or worst enemy, and sometimes at the same time! So, consider, "What is it that I really love doing?". Now take that a step further and ask yourself, "What FEATURES does my passion have that I love?".

STEP FOUR Now it's time to build your DREAM Life. This bit will stretch your self improvement prowess to the limit, but fear not, this is very much doable. This step requires you to use your identified features in step three AND one of the most powerful personal development tools around - GOAL SETTING! Do this for all the different departments of your life. For example, Health, Career, Love, etc. All of this formulates your very own, personal development plan. And now for the really exciting bit...

STEP FIVE - Start living the life you've planed out in your personal development plan. Put another way, start to your EXTRAORDINARY Life!

Naturally, there's a lot more to it than that, I'm sure you understand more about self improvement, and the requirements to live your DREAM Life!
