On the eve of my baby's due date, I am unable to sleep. With baby moving in my belly, Braxton Hicks contractions spontaneously occurring (that often render me helpless, like a beetle on it's back waving its legs), and the enormous pressure in my pelvis that whisks me off to the toilet only to expel an unimpressive thimble full of pee every 15 minutes...I reflect upon the following 10 best parenting advice and pregnancy resources I received.

Exercise. Always check with your health care practitioner to make sure you get the amount of exercise that is right for you (in some circumstances exercise is not advisable) but as a general rule exercise is beneficial. After the eighth week the size of the body expands and the baby's bone start strengthening. Then the growth of the body starts and thus the baby rows its head. During the thirty third and thirty sixth week the baby gains some extra weight and almost all the major organs get developed.. After the fortieth week the baby is born with all the organs well developed to survive in the world. Now the baby can respire on his/her own and take the air in the environment. If you maintain a pregnancy calendar you will be able to find out the correct time of delivery and the correct date.

In pregnancy, every woman experiences hormonal changes. Because of this, she may get nauseated and as a result may cut her food which is not wisdom.
It would be wise of her if she could make her diet protein rich by adding, chicken, cow milk, soybeans, cheese cottage, egg white etc, in her diet schedule.

Walking is something you can start doing within a week of giving birth, unlike some exercises. For at least six to eight weeks, avoid any exercises that are particularly exerting, such as running or jogging, until your body has had the chance to fully recover from the pregnancy.

If you like the exercise routine you are doing, you are more likely to stick to it. Do what you love best. If it is dancing, then enrol in a dance class, if you like biking, then spend at least an hour everyday to go biking. Also squeeze in little beneficial non-idle things like using the staircase instead of the elevator and walking your way to the convenience store if it is not too far from your home.

Be beautiful even when you're pregnant. Many pregnant women tend to have a lower self-esteem since they think they look ugly because of their pregnancy. Take care of your appearance as you take care of your baby. Fixing yourself while pregnant would make you feel more confident. You can still be sexy even if you already have a big tummy. You just have to discover the options and ways that you have. This gives you a positive outlook that is crucial during pregnancy
