The medicine producing companies are providing the advertisement and at the same time, the medicine company appoints the medical representatives for direct promotion of the medicine. The medicine company offers the doctors some lucrative offers for writing the medicine to the prescription. The cost of the medicine thus increases. The patient party has to purchase the medicine with the high price by getting the prescription of the physician. The patient party does not take the power to change the medicine company for it is the matter of illness. But, if it is written by the names of ingredient and the power of the medicine, all of the persons would get the benefit of choosing the company of the medicine for his own choice. Here is the back drop of the prescription drugs.

There is other kind of medicine that is called generic medicine and it is not still written in the prescription. So, it is still not under the prescription drugs. The cost of generic medicine is lower than the brand medicine of the same group. Some of the reputed companies have started producing the generic medicine worldwide. The medicine is of same efficient power, dose all healing procedure. That is the reason; all of the conscious persons of the world prefer to have the medicine of the generic kind. In case of ordering the medicine from foreign pharmacies, there is no need of showing prescription. That is the reason; this kind of medicine is not under the prescription drugs.
