Roles & Responsibilities:

Leading role in ensuring a safety-first culture through actively supporting the site’s health and safety program and ensuring health and safety is a top priorityr
Supervises production activitiesr
Reviews production schedule and ensures that staff and equipment are set up and prepared to meet production requirementsr
Review hourly timesheets and approving hours for all permanent and temporary employeesr
Ensures the approved level of staffing per production requirements is utilized, including planning and approvals of vacation requestsr
Takes a proactive leadership role on all employee-related matters, including training and development, performance management, etc.
Analyzes develop and implement optimal process design solutionsr
Recommends and tests new equipment and train employees on usager
Leads cross-functional teams towards continuous improvement goalsr
Monitors and analyzes production results (efficiency, food quality, labor costs, etc.) and suggest improvements on a continuous basisr
Provides recommendations to Plant Leadership Team on process/efficiency issuesr
Assist Production Manager in documenting plant performance against operating metrics, standards, and goalsr
Monitors compliance against plant safety regulations and housekeeping practices, and ensures a safe operational environment by monitoring compliancer
Skills, Experience, and Education:

Strong computer skills including knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and preferably SAP experiencer
Possess the ability to deal easily and effectively with all levels of personnelr
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialr
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesr
Strong organizational/time management skillsr
Self-motivated with strong multitasking, analytical thinking, problem solving and leadership skillsr
Ability to effectively present information in verbal exchanges with various departments
