What are Emotions?

Emotions run our lives more then what we are aware. They are at the base of every part of our lives, consciously and unconsciously, our actions and reactions, relationships with self and others, our Ego and the way we perceive life and the world around us. They run the show!

There are highly emotional people, which justify every action by their emotional roller-coaster; there are people who hide their emotions as for many social reasons and preconceptions, such has “showing emotions is a sign of weakness” and of course there are the psychopaths who seem to experience no emotion at all, although hate, rage and greed are emotions too.

Emotions are energy, frequencies, and each emotion is a different frequency. There are high vibrational emotions, neutral and low vibrational. Where do emotions come from? All emotions, without exception come from Love, the primordial, unconditional Love, which is not an emotion but a life force, a basic universal energy, The Creator Energy! As we move down the scale, we encounter Peace and Inner Peace of course, Joy, Compassion, Patience and so on. These are the high vibrational emotions. The neutral emotions we experience when we just live by, when there is no thrive but simple survival and numbness. Then there are the lower emotions, which basically all end up in Fear. Fear is the direct opposite of Love; Fear is Love’s lowest vibrational state. All lower emotions derive from Fear directly and indirectly from Love.

Now, the questions are, when does Love turns into Fear, and why I have not mentioned Individual, romantic love?

Our basic and most common concept of Individual/Romantic love is per se an emotional roller coaster of vicissitudes. It always starts with passion, enthusiasm, overjoy, ecstasy and soon after turns into possessiveness, jealousy, fear to lose or to be hurt, etc. I am sure we all know it well by experience. This concept of love is obviously fear based, but it goes much deeper. It states how we mainly search for love as a self-validation and self-improvement, how we value ourselves mostly by the eyes of someone else, an outside source, instead of Self-love, finding self-validation from within. That does not mean there are no healthy and real relationships out there, but the main difference starts with Self-love.

We all love something, the sky, the moon, the ocean, birds singing, the fresh summer breeze, but we don’t think how the day will turn into night, how the birds will fly away, we don’t try to control and possess these pleasures, we simply enjoy it, we enjoy the moment! That is real romantic love and how we must love our better half!

When does Love turns into Fear?

At the moment we allow emotions to control us, by identification of self. We so commonly think of ourselves by emotional characteristics and labels. We become attach, we diminish ourselves to social demands and acceptation and “forget” our true infinite and universal nature.

It’s a matter of either emotions rule us or we rule our emotions. The difference can be releasing to say the least. Fear and all its emotional states makes us vulnerable, weak, and susceptive to dis-eases. It literally takes life! On the other hand, thriving gives life, love attracts more joy, more love, more reasons to live and restores health. It is a choice, just another daily choice in this Free Will universe. Which do you choose?
