A china supplier said they have avoided being cheated by overseas buyers successfully.

One trade company from Europe placed an order worth ¥160,000 on 18 August.

The supplier said the business partner was suspicious since they do not negotiate on the price completely and they have no any requirement on the products. On the contrary, the suppliers asked several questions on the products and the market trend, the buyer can not communicate with him and they were seemed knowing nothing about it.

The buyer asked to pay 30 percent of the total amount in advance, meanwhile the supplier said the buyer need to pay for 50% in advance, which was not answered at that moment and the buyer said they need more time to think about it.

Several days later, the buyer asked the supplier to visit the office. The supplier saw very old furniture and the company name was another trade company’s name. The buyer explained that they have subleased the office not long ago. The supplier asked the mansion administrative office and found out the buyer has not registered yet.

The international buyer said they have received many orders involving different industries and many business partners did not pay guarantee deposit and only need to pay 20 percent of the total amount.

The supplier asked some rivals who said they all have got inquires from the international buyer but they refused finally.

Later, the international buyers disappeared and took some products and advanced payment.
