“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”~Henri Nouwen

Friends — true friends are PRICELESS!! Yes true friends will see you through any situation you might encounter. A bad marriage, financial challenges, problems with your children — any situation. True friends will be there for you no matter what. Do you have a friend? The old statement “it takes one to know one” is oh so true. How about yourself. Are you a true friend? Do you support your friends during their difficult times? These are important questions. It is a good idea to check ourselves and determine if we are a good friend. If we don’t have a friend or friends that we could classify as a true friend, maybe we should take a hard look at ourselves and make sure we are “true” friends.
