What actions have you determined are necessities in your life to keep you on track? If you’re pining for the straight and narrow path to success, then you must know that in order to achieve the affluence you so desire, you must love yourself first and be consistent in every one of your efforts.
Angel Amarushaya reminds us that blessings come in many shapes and forms; for example, through family members, neighbors, teachers and pets. She asks you to count your blessings every day. When was the last time you did? Count your blessings, that is. If you are wading in self pity and do not believe that you have anything for which to be thankful in your life, then you are missing out on the essential foundation of what life and living are all about.
If you are, you might be hindering your advancement as well as the progress of others. It is okay to want things and to acquire success, but sometimes, we allow our personal goals and ulterior needs and motives to get in the way of overall growth. How, you ask? You can’t take it with you Recently, a friend of mine attended a funeral of a not-so-distant and humble relative. Like most funerals, the occasion was somber. An older but kindly preacher who personally knew the deceased presided over the reading of the eulogy. As he spoke with a long, southern drawl, he discussed the life of the late beloved. In the midst of his tributary, he stopped and took a lengthy breath. He then told the multitude of mou ers how fondly so many had spoken of the departed.

In Aesop’s Fables, there is a story about a mouse and a lion. As the story goes, a mouse is nearly eaten by a lion but the mouse begs the lion to spare his life as one day he may come to save his.
