We are so blessed that we get to live in such privileged times… We are SO BLESSED! And for the most part, it has come too easy and so we forget… We take it for granted … And we are blessed that we can even take it for granted! And I am no different from anyone reading this… I forget… I forget and I start to pretend that I do not have the freedoms I have! I forget that I live in a day and age where most people on the planet are connected – It has never been easier to build a successful business.
I feel like my writing muscle is broken… (Yes for me, my money making is related to my content and honey, if you are in business then so is yours!) I cannot reach the flow and stay in there… I keep starting a post, stopping a post and I cannot seem to make it flow…
There comes a day in everyone’s life when they realise that learning to love yourself is pretty important. It is usually after years of living to the agenda of the masses and realising that there is no reward to be found there and then, suddenly people remember that their own opinion is important.

So, I have a love-hate relationship with my extended family… I was never quite sure why I felt out of place, thinking there was something wrong with me… Never wanting to play to the rules… Never really understanding the FUCKING RULES! I was considered selfish and rebellious…
So, you want your own business… And you want it to be successful… You have experienced success in other areas of life… But for whatever reason, this whole business thing is beyond you… And so, you get to wondering how you can be a successful entrepreneur… You get to wondering if it will ever work for you… You get to thinking that maybe it is for everyone else but it just is not for you… And I ask you this simple, simple SIMPLE question… “WHAT MAKES YOU SO SPECIAL THAT THE PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS WILL JUST NOT WORK FOR YOU?” Seriously! Think about it.
Man, one of the most freeing things that happened to me in 2016, was just releasing the need to look good, to get it right, to be perfect all the time. It held me back sooooo much and I imagine it is doing the same thing to you.

There is no point feeling sorry for yourself that you have not yet reached your goals… All of those types of emotions, stifle the one thing you absolutely need to break free from this particular slump… They stifle your creativity. It is your creativity that will enable you to come up with novel ideas and novel ways of doing things…
You may be called to the whole 7 billion people on the planet… Or you may only be called to 10 people Are your people hearing your voice? You may wake up feeling down and out… Or you may wake up feeling full of the joy of life… Are your people hearing your voice?
I used to find surrender to be such an ugly word… One where I was just supposed to leave myself to the whims of some exte al person/thing and just let whatever happens, happen… I was scared that Spirit did not love me enough to take care of me…
You keep lurking to see what the latest, greatest marketing technique is… You don’t think that who you are and what you have, is enough… You hide behind pretty websites, whizz bang program names, complicated membership sites, fancy sales funnels and all of that stuff but it separates you from your people…
People will try to take advantage of you… Don’t let them. You are pretty dang strong so people, who are not your people, will want to lean on you… Don’t let them… People will tell you their sad story hoping to get you to pity them enough to serve them for free…

And he is proud of himself because he is still on track, he is being consistent and he loves it. He has a goal he is working towards reaching and though it hurts at times, he is determined to keep moving forward. He sees himself as a champion-fighter and he is staying on course despite the pain.
Gosh, I read posts written by religious and spiritual people and they really do rile me up a little… It is all about waiting… Being still… Praying until something happens… And you know what, I do believe in being still and praying…

In the last few days, I have been led to focus on releasing elements of my past… It is as though every book, every blog, every EVERYTHING that comes my way is directing me towards releasing the drama of my past so that I am powered forward to my chosen future… And I am so thankful that Spirit cares that much for me… It has been tough facing down some of the lies I have believed…
Most people, and I am sad to say that I used to be one of these, think that you can give things a go for a little bit and then quit if it gets too hard, quit if it seems impossible, quit if all your friends seem to be happy to settle for nothing, just simply stop and settle for the okay life… And so, for a long time there, I got the okay life… And so do most people.
For the longest time, I lived a half-life… I knew I was capable of more and yet, I refused to live it out… And now, I look back and realise that it was a choice… A choice to believe the lies about not mattering… A choice to believe the lies about not being important enough… A choice to believe that I could not just do what I wanted to do… A choice to think that my strengths, my desires, my dreams were given to me to taunt me and never actually to be realised…

It is even worse now with social media. You look for engagement as a measure of how well loved you are but really, it is no measure at all. Tell me, how many pieces of content do you read a day where you do not acknowledge at all that you were there, EVEN if you enjoyed it? Lots, right?

And it is just a silly excuse! A silly crazy excuse that keeps you from even giving your dream and vision a great big go! You can tell yourself that you made a mistake, you can tell yourself that no one wants to be led by or even buy from someone as imperfect as you and you would be adding mistakes upon the original mistake!

Don’t you see that you cannot keep comparing yourself to other people when you are simply not of this world! You ARE different! You have always suspected it and now you can completely confirm that it is true – You are very, very different and most of the people around you do not get you! So be careful where you go looking for advice!
I see you thinking, thinking, thinking some more… “Will this work, will that work?” “Can I do that or would it be too much?” “Am I allowed? Will the gods of business and all things entrepreneur curse me for trying to do this thing over here?” “Maybe I will break my business if I do that?”
Man, I am tired of appealing to all and sundry… I am tired of speaking so generally that anyone thinks that they are my person… I am tired of being surrounded by those who just want to make a few pennies here and there and it is not really attached to a big vision… I am looking for those who want to be great! WHO ARE ALREADY GREAT!

You are fed up with limiting yourself because of money… So make more! You are fed up with having to say no to your kids because you cannot afford it… So make more! You are fed up with having to work a job or be in a business that is not your soul purpose…

Seriously?! You act like a victim of circumstances… But you are a creator… Someone made in the image of God… Someone with incredible power under the hood… LIMITLESS!
Simple Answer - NEVER! Your life is your life at the moment and actually, it is the life of most entrepreneurs - at least the ones who are honest about it! If you want to make money doing what you love, if you want to impact people with your product, service, if you want to increase your income, you are going to have to simply get on with it in the midst of the chaos.
I used to wander aimlessly through life wondering what I felt motivated to do… Wondering why I did not feel inspired to do what I said I wanted to do… Wondering why I did not get my own version of the ‘Because I want to’ Life! I had bought into a lie…
You are not your mum… You are not your dad… You are not your brother… You are not your sister… You are not your friend… You are not your pastor… You are whoever the fuck you choose to be! You have this picture in your head of who you want to be…
You say you don’t want to be greedy… And so you downplay your goals… Making them smaller and smaller each passing year… You don’t see that you are living from a place of lack. You think that you getting yours means someone else has to lose theirs… And as you say, you don’t want to be greedy…

You doubt yourself and you doubt the journey and it keeps you trapped in this uncertain limbo where you are not sure whether to go back to the familiar or to continue onwards to the promise.
When will you start living like your life is yours? When will you start asking for and receiving the best? When will you start believing that the dreams and visions in your heart are really yours to fulfill? When will you stop selling your soul for money? And I speak to me, probably much more tha I speak to you!
When I was younger and on the occasional day even now, I get myself into a tizzy. A tizzy where I wonder if I am allowed certain things… After all, my greatest heart’s desire has always been to be close to God, to Source, to my higher power… I long for Him with every breath in my body…

You are a category of one and there is no one, NO ONE like you! And if you would finally own that, really OWN IT, then you would figure out how to win. You don’t have to be sexier than someone else – How do you even measure that?
