Astrologers enamored with modern methods claim that astrology must "...promote human freedom..." and that ancient astrology “...is not aligned with modern times...” Instead, our findings tell us this: modern astrology’s psycho-speak, trippy subjectivity and softened-up-reality-to-the-point-of-distortion drives you to cloud and misjudge reality and tells you what you want to hear. The escapist and fly-in-the-face-of-truth inspirational babble of modern astrology makes it easier to sell books and drawn-out counseling sessions through its exclusive application.
We received this inquiry recently: “Just what is a psychic looking at? How do they ‘see’ the future? What in the world are they looking at? Where do they get their information about things 30 years in the future about people who were not even born yet?” As professional mystics, we readily spot psychic talent and have met many excellent psychics over the past 25+ years. We’ve also encountered some sham psychics. There are frauds in every industry, so it’s wise to do your own objective research about the topic before you form a strong opinion.

You’ve probably heard about how affirmations can improve your life. Some people claim that you can achieve anything you want with the power of positive thoughts. Anything? Does that mean you can become an NBA superstar, even though you’re 5’5”, 50 years old, can’t jump or run, and aren’t a team player? Perhaps not. But certainly, your thoughts and focus influence your reality, within the confines of your fate (much of which is set before your birth). Your fate has a lot to do with your abilities and what you can achieve.
Do you remember that movie called “Stranger Than Fiction” starring Will Farrell and Emma Thompson? In it, the main character begins to hear an author in his head narrating his life. He eventually realizes she is writing a story in which he, the main character, will die in the end. So, he sets out to find her and change the ending. It’s a fun and thoughtful movie.
You’ve experienced it. Perhaps with a coworker, a neighbor, or even a relative. You try to get along with the bully to keep the peace, but they always manage to get under your skin and you react, sometimes not so nicely. You avoid them as much as possible. But for those times when you have no choice, we offer the suggestions below to help you handle them peacefully and from the perspective of a mystic rather than allowing them to add more stress to your life or worse.
When I was a teenager, it was my ambition to become a professional ballet dancer. I began lessons around the age of eight for fun and exercise and by twelve I was a serious student. My parents were very supportive, driving me to classes several times a week and allowing me to spend a summer at the National Ballet of Canada studying with top teachers. At the age of sixteen, after auditioning and gaining acceptance, they gave their blessing for me to enroll in a year round ballet boarding school in Buffalo with schoolwork sandwiched in between morning and afte oon dance classes.
If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right. - Henry Ford When it comes to your goals and ambitions what are your inner expectations? Do you think as if it is impossible to fail or deep down do you figure your just dreaming? Whichever feeling you have will ...
Many people are asking the question, “What is my purpose?” It’s not something that was talked about several years ago but has now come into the collective consciousness. The first thing to consider when exploring your purpose is to understand what purpose really means. Most of the people who come to me for coaching are conce ed about finding meaning, joy and impact in their work, which is certainly a question of purpose.
Have you lived previous lives? About two-thirds of the world’s population believes in reinca ation. Disbelievers reject the concept of reinca ation, though how many of them have investigated the concept objectively? The “I’m just a hunk of meat with a brain-- no soul” types (typically atheists) completely ignore, or aren’t even aware of, the important reinca ation research done by Dr. Ian Stevenson and other professionals in the field.
You’ve seen it hundreds of times. Some guy is being interviewed by the local news after he helped prevent some crime or rescued someone in distress. The reporter asks, “Do you consider yourself a hero?” Apparently, this question must be asked in order to test whether or not said person is in fact a hero. According to local news rules of heroism, the man is only a hero, if and only if, he claims to not be one. Most people, knowing this rule, go on to say that they don’t consider themselves to be a hero because they just did what anyone in their situation would’ve done.
Many elements could contribute to the creation of a powerful, long lasting, and flexible life purpose. In my work with hundreds of individuals and thousands of people in groups, I have found the following three elements to be most effective:nn· Vision: What is the vision or possibility you see for the world? n· Values: What are the core values you stand for and are willing to give your life for? n· Being: Who are you? What can people count on from you? Life purpose is more ab

These days, it seems that many people need some tough love when it comes to their financial health. Every day I meet people who have become unemployed, have taken a pay cut, or are experiencing a slow period in their business. On top of that, they have credit card and student loan debt, and their taxes, food, and fuel costs are all skyrocketing. Sound familiar? These people don’t need a simple money bandage to get them through the tough times; they need financial heart surgery! If that’s where you are right now with your business and personal finances, you are not alone.
Have you ever noticed that people who behave like a class act tend to go further in life, and their work and personal relationships are more harmonious and less stressful? Why is that? Is it because they have less drama and chaos in their life than most people? Maybe sometimes, but often it's because they've been through a lot and in the process learned how to react positively to adversity.
All living beings have an aura. The aura ´sits´ around our body as an oval electric ´field´, which reaches out 50 – 100 cm. from the body. The aura is in most cases invisible to the human eye, but many people are able to see auras as a shining field around the head. When pictures of Jesus often show a kind of halo around his head, it is his shining aura that is being depicted. Our aura holds our consciousnessr
What does this mean anyways? Being completely authentic, being you, not holding back, speaking truthfully. I warn you, the truth hurts, sometimes. It is one of the greatest healing tools around. Emotional Courage is going towards your dream, with confidence, energy, love and enthusiasm, from the Greek root meaning (God within). Is it hard being you? Of course it is. Is it worth it? Of course it's worth it! We run our lives on emotions, don't kid yourself, I go thru this also.
Constantly witnessing the repetition of numerological and astrological patterns accurately reflecting personality and real life events and circumstances in peoples’ lives forms the basis for our related metaphysical theories. In other words, the more you see specific patterns in the charts relating to specific behavior or desires, for example, the more you can expect to see the same dynamic in the future. Regarding comprehensive numerology, we sometimes find a subject who has a significant over-abundance of a certain root number, such as the number 5.
February is the month of love! We’re just past Valentine’s Day, when our thoughts and attention are on romantic love. Many people feel that romantic love is the highest form of love. While it certainly feels good, is healthy and rewarding, there is actually a higher, more certain love that comes from within us and enhances all of our relationships, including the one with ourselves. In her book Love for No Reason: 7 Steps to Creating a Life of Unconditional Love, Marci Shimoff talks about the difference betwee “love for good reason” and “love for no reason”. She states:
Discovering your life purpose is a journey into knowing yourself. Your life has been guiding you to your purpose all along. It’s just matter of knowing what the signposts are. Here’s a fun acronym to help you learn and remember the steps to purpose: P = Passions: What do you love to do? What makes time fly by? What is important to you? Your purpose will be aligned with what you are passionate about. U = Utilizing your natural talents and learned skills. What comes naturally to you that may not to other people? What skills have you acquired that you enjoy using?
"Then I was standing on the highest mountain of them all, and round about beneath me was the whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there I saw more tha I can tell and I understood more tha I saw; for I was seeing in a Sacred manner the shapes of all things in the Spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being.

Refusing to capitalize on your abilities (i.e., accepting money for your talents) and sacrificing yourself for nothing in return only generates negative consequences and hinders your spiritual growth. Centuries ago, religious adherents were conditioned to believe that they should never use their “spiritual gifts” for personal gain; in doing so they believed they would be damned to hell forever. You’re Not Alone if You’ve Fallen For it

Do you feel like something is missing in your life? We are all born with a purpose. Each of us is unique and we all have a special role to fill, that no one else can do. When we discover, acknowledge and act on that, we feel fulfilled. When we don’t, we feel as if we are wandering through life, just going through the motions. And that’s what feels like something is missing. In my last article, (What is Life Purpose? Part 1) I wrote about life purpose as the path to your spiritual growth. In this article I’ll explore life purpose as your life’s work, or contribution.

Have you made your New Year’s Resolutions for this year? How’s it going? How has it gone in past years? If you are like most people, you start out with the best intentions and then gradually you revert back to old habits. Studies show that only 8% of people actually reach their goals! So why is that? Why do we always seem to return to our “default” behaviors, even when we know changes would benefit us? Take heart! It’s not because we’re all lazy or incompetent except for the shining few. The answer lies in our subconscious. Our Conscious and Subconscious Minds
Have you ever wondered why so many people experience love life heartache on a regular basis? Most people seem tornstart out with good intentions but then many fall into the typical love life traps. After over 25 years of empirical research with metaphysics, personality and compatibility assessment, and as a matchmaker and writing a book about soul mates, we’ve created the following tips to help you and your teens and adult children avoid all the most common love life traps.
Hope is one of those things that shows up in the oddest places; at the oddest times. It can be found where you would imagine only despair to reign… and it can be missing from places where you think it would be in abundance. Without it, lives are lost; dreams are destroyed. Fortunately, HOPE can be built, if you’re willing to work on the little pieces that make it whole. H = Happiness Hope is full of joy; but hope doesn’t have to come before joy. If you seek out that which makes you happy, the more you find, the more hopeful you will become.
We are surrounded by a Universal Subjectivity, a Subjective, Creative Consciousness, which isv receptive, neutral, impersonal, always receiving the impress of our thought, and which has no alte ative other than to operate directly upon it, thus creating the things which we think. Each one should realize that there is nothing in him that denies that which he desires. Our unity with our good is not established while there is anything in us that denies it. People often say: “H
So, you’ve been trying out the law of attraction and it just isn’t working for you. You are wondering, “What’s going on? Why is it taking so long?” You begin to think this stuff just doesn’t work, or maybe it does for other people, but somehow you’re special and it just doesn’t work for you. Here is one area you might explore.
Each of us was born with a unique purpose in life. Along the road to becoming, though we may stumble and fall, the quest for true meaning guides us. Today, we are entering a period of intense transformation from a world that is off purpose, to a world that is (or soon will be) back on course. It will take every striving individual to eliminate both fear and doubt in order to stay on track and birth this New Era. In the esoteric tradition, fear and doubt are known as glamours.
Sometimes I'll look at someone's cards and see quite clearly that they were victims of abuse. When I mention it, they draw a blank. They'll say their mother and father were pretty good to them, and that they get along well with their spouse and they don't know what I mean. It could be a past ...
We all have different kinds of people in our lives. Some are happy and upbeat and enjoy life to the fullest, others are serious, ultra motivated and never stray from the path leading to their goals, while many of us also have friends who are drama/trauma queens who thrive on difficulties, and in fact attract difficulties because of their mindset. We feel differently when in the company of the positive, upbeat people than we do when we are in the company of the drama queens and people who seem to always be in some kind of difficulty.
This report is an interview between internet mogul Stephen Pierce and wealth expert Bob Proctor. You can go to the bottom of this page and download your free copy of this report right away. In this report Bob Proctor explains the purpose of money and how to use the Law of Attraction to earn ...
The five stages of mysticism aren't as complex as you may think. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to have a long mane of white hair and live in an exotic, remote part of the world to be a mystic. The American Heritage dictionary defines mysticism as "...consciousness of transcendent reality or of God through deep meditation or contemplation. Mystic is defined as of or relating to religious mysteries or occult rites and practices; one who practices or believes in mysticism." You may have deep mystical tendencies and not even realize you're a mystic, by definition.
Most of us know that there’s a mind-body connection where the thoughts you think impact your body. But did you know that what you do to your body affects your brain? Have you ever experienced a slowing down of your brain when you’re hungry, tired or stressed? Imagine filling your car’s gas tank with garbage in place of the fuel it needs. How do you think that car would perform? That’s right, it wouldn’t get very far! The same is true for your body. If you fill it with junk, your organs won’t work properly. There may be a delay factor initially, but don’t kid yourself.
So, you feel like giving up do you? Well here’s the good news - you’re normal. Everyone goes through it. I’ve gone through it. It’s human nature to want to give up. The difference between the real performers and those people who are the average Joes, is that the real performers bounce back ...
I often compare my vision of the life I desire, and every aspect of that desire down to my daily lifestyle; such as how much do I travel? What do my relationships look like? Do I make solid and life-altering connections with people I meet? What are my financial resources, love, everything and anything? Then I look at the reality of my life today and take an inventory of what I need to do, think and feel to get to the life of my desires. This time of year there is a lot of dis
Too often we get caught up in the judgments of others. We put too much emphasis or importance on what other people think of us, and we become focused on tending to their perceptions in order to control a given situation. In the worst cases we engage in a constant battle to control what people think, a process known as image management. There’s nothing wrong with this—most businesses and politicians do it to perpetuate or maintain a public image, and ordinary people like you and me do it as well.
The perfect day of your life, how would it look like? How far away do you think you are from this perfect day? What can you do to make this perfect day reality? Let’s find out by doing the following exercice! The right side of your brain has retained the image of that you came here to do on ...
The notion of rewriting your soul contract is about eliminating life’s challenges and getting what you want in a snap. We believe it’s impossible to rewrite your soul contract, though you do have free will to respond positively to it. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to suddenly live the life of your dreams and never again have any challenges? We applaud you for going after your dreams, but challenges are part of life. Without them you don’t learn and grow.
Believe it or not, you are dabbling in black magic if you wish someone harm. Even worse is actively invoking dark energies to assist in harming someone. You may not call yourself a dark magician, or even know anything about spell casting or the powers you summon, but the forces (positive and negative) of the universe are at your disposal, and it’s up to you to use them wisely.
Do other people make you feel things? Do they make you feel happy or sad? I’m curious. How do they make you feel this way? Do they say, “Hey, here’s a tin of sadness.” Or maybe they say, “Ahh, you need a bucket of happiness. Hold on, I’ve got one here you can have.” Can you find happiness or sadness on the supermarket shelves, pre-packaged and ready to go? Shopaholics amongst you would argue that you could; however I would say you can’t.
Our long-term empirical findings show that you’re here on planet Earth primarily to make spiritual progress. The more progress you make now, the more you’ll be rewarded later, and eventually you’ll complete the cycle of reinca ation. You can’t control how you’re spiritually tested, but you do have free will to react in a positive way. How do you react to life’s challenges? We believe there exist distinct signs that indicate a person is making progress in the spiritual game of life. Below we list five.
“Without fail, you will be tested,” said the wise man. We believe that how you respond to your spiritual tests in life determines how you progress spiritually, and it impacts your future personal fate. Whether or not you’re successful with these tests depends on if you do the right thing and respond with unconditional love, tolerance, and honesty.
