Hi, my name is Dave and I am the owner of Tryary.com. Obviously, given my belief in the Law of Attraction, it comes as no surprise that I believe that weight loss is as much what you feed your mind as it is what you feed your body. There are literally hundreds of weight loss and fitness programs, but if your not in the right mindset, you won't get anywhere in the long term. This, however, is just my opinion and given that I've never had to actually lose a significant amount of weight in my life, who am I to say anything.

Accelerated Soul Development – is this the reserve of the special ‘few’? We are all capable of exercising our psychic abilities. Like any other area of human endeavour, some people excel in different skills to others. However, there is no ‘magic stick’ with which those who experience psychic phenomena are hit. The questio I have often been asked is “how do I get to the level you’re at?” My answer is that it is quite simple but challenging. As in learning to drive, the more you do it the easier it becomes.
What is faith to you? Faith is defined in the dictionary as a strong or unshakeable belief in something, especially without proof or evidence. Faith encompasses both trust and belief. True unswerving faith can withstand any turmoil, any pressure, any obstacle. Faith is strength, strength of love.
Stress, stress and more stress, what else can I say after working long hours in the corporate environment day after day. Meditation has been my lifeline to keeping me balanced, grounded and stress free. Each day for 10-15 minutes I would quietly sit in peaceful meditation to gently begin my day. ...
We each have several defining moments in our lives; college graduation, marriage, and the birth of a child are just a few examples. A powerful moment can also be when we make a sudden realization, allowing a shift in consciousness. Some may only have one epiphany in a lifetime, others may have several a week; but either way, these shifts are important to not only the individual but the collective unconscious as a whole. When one benefits, we all benefit.
For many people, the sixth sense is nothing more than something seen on TV or in movies. Actually these are profound abilities that you can develop. This article will explore some of the misconceptions and myths about the sixth sense. You Are Either Born Psychic or You Aren't Alison Dubois on the TV show Medium has premonitions in the form of dreams. But you weren't born with any abilities like that, so you will never be psychic, right? But is that really true?
Have you ever been in a situation where you were unhappy with your circumstances but didn’t quite know how to go about changing them? There are times when we're dissatisfied with an aspect of our life but can't imagine it being any different. And then there are times when we are poised to move ...
Sometimes it can be difficult to resist the impulse not to put people in a box. For most of us, sizing people up and then applying the labels we feel best characterizes them is such an ingrain habit that parting from this tendency requires an extraordinary amount of diligence and attention from us. For my efforts, along this line, I try to stay mindful of the truth that not only do people have the capacity to change, that people actually do change and are in fact constantly c
Essentially all religions and scriptures say the universe began with God which is/was the Singularity of all. In this beginning there was nothing before this Spirit and this Spirit is ever-existent beyond the concepts of all time and phenomena. No man is capable of saying how, why or when it all began but this singular essence is the First Cause to all of creation.
It's likely that the majority of people in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world continue to use the mainstream media as their primary source of information and entertainment. Unfortunately, just a bit of "conscious" television watching or listening to AM/FM radio makes it patently obvious that these mediums are filled with advertisements and other content that is either rooted in fear, or designed to incite anger and to increase feelings of separation from others with differing perspectives.
It seems that with each passing year, the pace of change is quickening, and there are no signs that it is going to slow down any time soon. Along with rapid change comes unpredictability, and often volatility at every level of society—family, community, business, and government.

Where do you like to go on vacation? What is it that you like best about this picture that has popped into your mind? Beautiful scenery, new adventures, great shopping, historical sites, loving travel companions, exquisite food and wine, are all reasons to return to a well-loved place, even if it’s only in your mind. My childhood memories of family vacations are adventures crafted only in my imagination. Movies, books and television programs gave me images of places I hoped to visit, people I wanted to meet and times that could only be retraced by evidence they had left behind.
We are occasionally asked, “What can I do to prepare myself for spiritual service?” The key in this question is “spiritual service” for there are ample opportunities for people to serve in their communities, from service and religious organizations to charitable groups. ...

Thousands of books have been written (and read) about happiness—what it is and how to achieve it. So, why are so many people still miserable? As a self-proclaimed Happiness Specialist, I feel compelled to answer that question.
We call the Consciousness that created our universe "the Creator" because all form is first preceded by consciousness. Most of us have no trouble accepting this concept, but rarely do we move to the next logical step and think about the deeper implications of this simple reality. Over the last 14.7 billion years the universe has slowly evolved from extremely hot hydrogen gas of the Big Bang into stars and galaxies, solid matter, the emergence of life, and eventually human consciousness.
I am an Angel artist and several weeks ago while listening to the late night news, a news story came on that really touched my heart. On the way home in the wedding limo ... a drunk driver caused a horrible wreck, resulting in the loss of a child and the limo driver. This story stayed in my mind. A few days later, a woman emailed me requesting my help. She wanted to know if an Angel painting could be created for this family. I immediately knew who the family was. I heard a voice say ..."Yes, you can help ... Create an Angel of Comfort for her painting ...
More often than not we think of ourselves as a person. We respond to a name and carry an image of ourselves in our mind. We identify with this image, but it is only in the surrendering of this image that the joy of who we are is discovered.
“Discomfort is not a problem to be solved, not an enemy to be fought, not a monster to escape from; but instead an energetic relationship within, to be owned with courage and grace, and transformed through total acceptance, divine wisdom, and love.” Joe Hurley We all experience discomfort at one point or another in our lives. And many people have been experiencing some intense discomfort lately. In this article, I focus on the subject of healing discomfort.
How many of us pray for peace, become involved in organizations that promote peace and, through our spiritual practices, advocate peace? Many of us certainly do yet, despite our efforts, we seem to move from one war to another, from one act of terrorism to another. As we become more ...
I’d like to discuss a popular concept in modern spirituality: “Letting Go”. This is the idea that we must release something that no longer serves us. In theory, “Letting Go” beholds within itself the necessary components for relief, moving on and healing. The reality is, that letting go is a form of resistance and not necessarily a form of deep inner healing, which must in any case precede any true transcendence or the transition to beyond suffering. I’m going to propose a new concept today. It’s called “Letting In.”
With so many marriages ending in divorce, it is hard to believe all those people actually made an effort to repair their situations and learn about marriage - and their partner. I have observed, and found in my own, personal experience, that a little effort can go a long way when it comes to any ...
I love mysteries. nnNot mystery books. I'm talking about life's real npuzzles. nnIt's powerful to contemplate the heavens and ngrasp the enormity of the universe. We tend nto go along, head down, minding our own business and nstruggling with the minutiae of our lives. To pause, nlook up and peruse the star-studded sky is a reminder nof the insignificance of so many of our worries. nnWe need to pause more often, and we need to remind nourselves repeatedly that the little thing
Every fear that we have embedded in our psychological shadows has been used for the last ten years to dis-empower us. All of the large institutions who get air time on the TV, Radio, and in the Newspapers, seem to push the same messages: you can be good if you get all of these material things; you are not good enough; you are better than some race, class, gender, ethnic group, or other nation. All of these things reinforce the idea that we have to gain worth by performing or being better than some other group. Or there is not enough and we have to fight in order to survive.
I knew that I needed a home that both invited my creativity, and welcomed others into my home. A home that said “there is peace here, come in and lay your burdens down.” A two fold problem remained. I have made a commitment to live simply and I don't have a lot of money. My solution has been something I term thrifting. It is the practice of limiting the amount of money I spend on a single object (under $20.00 if it is not furniture) and finding things I love to include in my home.r
From the Heart of a Parent I have looked at my life as being full of ups and downs. I say this knowing full well that my ups and downs are really mountains, deserts, and canyons, and most times I feel like I’m falling into a pit. My thoughts don’t change when I think about my life as a parent. I’m a mom. I was single once, then married, then single WHILE married, and knew that my actions would have a horrible effect on my children. Where does that place me as an entrepreneur? I’m not perfect and this is from my heart as I see it.
Does your dream demand that you bring it to fruition, or that you take the steps to bring it to fruition? It is often the case that the journey, the steps, are what is important, for it is that journey which teaches you the most. Your journey teaches you about your own passion, commitment, ...
Spiritual growth, among any other thing, is one of the most important things for us to actually feel happy and satisfied in life. We should not only content ourselves with the material and worldly-minded things that we can find here and there, but also we should fill the holes of emptiness within us. Thus, it is very necessary that we find both means and time to develop spirituality to make ourselves attuned with our mental and spiritual capacities. In addition, lack of desir
Are you really there, God? Are you deep inside of me and all around me? Have you not created everything I see and all of the unseen? Are your miracles of life everywhere present? Is your hope of ete al life possible for me? Do you love me like your child? Is it time for me to grow up? ...
I don’t think a person exists anywhere on earth that hasn’t lost something at one time or another. Losing something or someone really important can be especially horrible and stressful. Luke 2:14 says this: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” Each of us must be incredibly important to God if He sent His Son to this world to find us. And indeed we are. He loves us more than we can ever imagine. Luke 2:14 is an important Bible verse for your children to memorize and here is a fun Bible school activity based on the parable of the lost coin.
What if we didn't mark time? How old would I be? Would I count the sunsets, Or add lifetime to lifetime? Would there be days or years? Or just life? As I see it, Things would be different. No more schedules to keep. Things would get done Without the distress. Feed the body when needed, Not when ...
I hope you do. Sounds awful, I know. But I really think the best thing that can happen to you is for you to take a timid little leap and fall flat on your face. Then, I want to see you get back up, evaluate what you did wrong, and jump again. Keep on taking that leap of faith and learning ...
In an interesting turn of events this week we have had massive rain storms in the Northeaste United States, resulting in flood evacuations in Pennsylvania, and an archeological team from Texas believes it has found Noah's Ark in the Elburz mountains of Iran. Good timing. The team which ...
The healing stream is a frequency of energy that comes from the divine source. Some people call this source God, the higher self, the higher power, the divine self, the creator, the spirit, and other names. The key is that this energy exists in a higher dimensional plane of existence and it flows interdimensionally into the mind, emotion, and body fields of each and every one of us. This divine flow provides each of us with healing wisdom, love, and light.
I've found that when things seemed hard - for a good portion of my life - it was because I hadn't hit my stride yet. I hadn't believed in myself enough to let go of situations, people and places that weren't for my highest good. BUT they actually were. Hard things were necessary rungs on the spiritual ladder to a higher version of myself. They showed me areas in my life where I wasn't being good, loving and kind to myself. So these challenges were great teachers.

Acceptance of events or other people is key to our emotional freedom. It is an emotional process to realize that we don't have control over situations or people and we stop resisting. I originally believed that acceptance meant I needed to like a situation and that I was okay with the outcome. That statement couldn't be further from the truth. Acceptance does NOT mea I need to like a situation, an outcome or even a person. Acceptance is an understanding that the situation is what it is or a person is the way they are and I stop resisting.
I wake up every morning and rush to my computer to start writing. I don’t even stop for coffee or to make a pit stop until I get my first thoughts of the day down. I am writing as fast as I can because I don’t want to forget or lose any of the thoughts I have stuffed into my head; my ...

The Sound of Water reveals a path to enlightenmentr I just came back from a stormy beach, where the waves are thunderous as they pound against the sand; and darts of rain pepper my face as I dare to turn into the wind. The wetness is something I can tolerate, because I love this awesome sound! Pranic energy generated by water invigorates me and fills me with a fresh sense of life. New inspiration and awe.
Why do we latch on to certain beliefs and not others? One reason is that we are repeating behavior learned in childhood. Our belief systems are a cycle and if we don’t do anything to transform them, we will continue to hang on to old beliefs and behaviors, repeating them over and over. Through my experience I have learned that it is easier for people to change what they see as a negative belief if they know where it comes from. Having a true understanding can help you get to
I want to show you the difference between how we think and an enlightened mind in order to introduce some powerful techniques that will change the way you think. The Enlightened Mind
Relationship Empowerment - Clearing Reactions and Opening to Playfulness! Most of us have so many fantasies of what the "perfect" connection looks like, and a few emotional wounds in the past that create a tough criteria for us to really open and risk sharing who we really are so we can control any future hurt we perceive could occur. Unfortunately this creates firewalls and an inner judge that is not very playful or spontaneous in the moment, and actually steals a lot of inspiration and life energy from a very powerful force called Love from entering and empowering our lives.r
How do you define a ministry? Is it about supporting every church activity and gathering? Or joining the music team? Or is it about being active in church evangelism programs? etc... As I analyze the term "Ministry", it seems that there will be 2 types: 1.) General Ministry - this is the type of ministry where most people get joined with. Just like what the term implies, this is intended for the general public who is interested.
