To change your life, you must change your life. Sounds pretty simple doesn't it? Yet people, all over the world, live each day exactly the same and become frustrated when no significant change has taken place. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. You might be living like this. Well, think of this as a wake-up call. No matter how much you want to be a millionaire, there is no way it will happen if you are liv

Procrastination is one of the most prevalent forms of self sabotage, and it can be devastating to your relationships, your career and your peace of mind. Procrastination is the habit of putting tasks off to a later time. It isn't just rescheduling tasks; it is a pattern of behavior that has at its heart the desire to avoid something. Usually people procrastinate about tasks that are unpleasant to them, or on tasks that require a lot of time. The reasons people procrastinate are varied and usually unconscious. They may not make logical sense.
Many of my clients seek approval from friends, family, industry leaders, and colleagues before pushing the "go" button. They feel they shouldn't move forward unless they have everyone's approval or permission first.
Hey there everyone!! We’re going viral, and this is how’re doing it. If humanity is going to really transform, we need to have more than a shift in consciousness--we all need to learn things and do things that we may have never done before. It’s easy though. It’s all about using the tools that control us as tools that actually awaken us. For example, let’s use technology to make something go super-viral... Prerequisite: Worthy Content
Transformational change can be difficult even without having to worry about others being impacted. But when your loved ones are baffled or resistant, that adds a new dimension to the challenge. However, there are ways to communicate your needs and to hear the needs of others as you work through ...
By Frosty Wooldridge Do you like your work? Do you get a kick out of reaching the “office” daily as a park ranger, chef, teacher, truck driver, fireman, manager, waitress or hairdresser? Note this fact: what you do daily in your life affects your mind, body and spirit. If you love your work, you thrive. If you tolerate your work, you stagger through your day watching the clock. If you dislike your work, you ingest headache remedies. If you earn low wages, you limit your opt
What I would like to share with you today is the best method I could find, and experienced, to bring changes into your life. The following is an extract from my online course "Soulmate Connection" : "In the ete al being that is you, you still preserve your pure consciousness, and whatever you think in that pristine perception can become real much more easily. You are creating from the Source and not from your little limited horizon. In that Pure Source is where you can relax more in the perfect reality you always wanted" What does this mean?
n nThis book review is part of a series that covers the topic of Transformation. Life is about change. Through the process of transformation, you can change yourself into the person you want to be. Christopher Carrick is the Official Guide to Transformation . Christopher Carrick works with people who are undergoing spiritual transformation. Sometimes this shows up as a life crisis, such as the breakup of a relationship, struggles in their work or dealing with the dying proces
The majority of people see things either black or white. They find it difficult to see the grey, let alone live it. Grey is the synergy, the melding of one and the other, rather than one vs. the other. Look at the wars of the past and the present. Due to black vs. white, both in colour and thoughts they can't seem to find the grey. It's us vs. them, our religion vs. your religion, our country vs. your country, our dollar vs. your dollar, our product or company vs. your product or company etc. They haven't, nor do they care to stop and take a look at the grey.
In today’s economic climate talented people are being forced to look for their next job or opportunity. Many of them have valuable skills and experience to offer an employer; and some are being given opportunities that take them out of their comfort zone. Some will get stuck in self-doubt, fear or limited thinking. Others will take the risk to play a bigger game because they are filled with confidence, have a compelling vision and focus on the positive.
Have you ever walked into a room and felt the energy in it? Sensed and felt the silence and sombe ess of a library, the buzz and effervescence of a concert, or the love and joy at a wedding ceremony? In the 60’s and 70’s they called it the ‘vibe’ and now it’s referred to as energy, but it’s ...
You know for the majority of the populous the principles of true wealth creation in this 21st Century remain a mystery. Far too many lack this vital knowledge and have allowed themselves to be trapped in the industrial aged paradigm of yesteryear. Times have definitely changed and so has its currency. Yes, knowledge is power, and for the individual who learns how to effectively produce, share, and market, his/her valuable knowledge, freedom and prosperity awaits. Knowledge is the new currency of this new Information Age.
Life is filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, good and not so good times; that's what makes it interesting and often forces us out of our comfort zones. Frank Herbert said, "Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken." At one time or another, these expected or unexpected, planned or unpredictable circumstances can occur in every aspect of our lives. We experience them at home, in our jobs, in our relationships, physically and/or emotionally, financially, through loss of someone or something, globally, etc.
Have you ever wanted something really badly but you just couldn’t seem to get it, no matter how hard you tried? Well there is something you can do to help bring what you want into your life. Let go. Sounds like the complete opposite of what you are trying to achieve/attain, doesn’t it? As self-improvement aficionados, we are repeatedly hammered over the head with ideas that the law of attraction and positive thinking are the be-all, end-all ways to attaining success. These
Calling and Intentionnnby Murray and Shirley Ansell We’ve all heard the expression “it’s his/her calling”, meaning the work a person feels most passionate about and, to some, what that person is called to do by a higher power. You also may have heard quite a lot recently about “Intention”, ...
Hi there everyone!! What would it be like to live in global peace? I think it would encompass having complete trust in everyone else. That would cause us to all be working as one global entity. If that were the case, what would it mean for the world? It would mean countries and organizations working together, without selfish or ulterior motives, but with the desire to better the world. If that were the case, what would it mean for our daily lives? We would be living more freely and experiencing a deeper harmony within and amongst our communities. And here’s the good news.
I finally got around to seeing the movie, "Whip It" (dir. Drew Barrymore).
Sometimes, It's Hard! Life is great, life is good, and in the words of Helen Keller, life is an adventure or nothing at all. And, sometimes, life is also hard. Why? Who knows? We hit the wall. We skim the skids. We get upset. We get angry, we get frustrated, things don't look like they're going the way we would like them to go, the list goes on, and on, and on. We do this! Great, again! Why? Because that's what we do sometimes.
In the past, healing has been viewed from the Newtonian view of the universe. This is the mechanistic thinking that the body is like a machine. Take a pill, cut something out, or fix a certain part of the body. Healing and psychology are beginning to catch up with quantum physics and the unified field. This is the thinking that we are the sum total of everything in and around us, including our environment. As children we reference our parents and our environment to learn how to navigate in the world.
In the movie, "The King's Speech," the speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush) provides the stuttering King George VI (Colin Firth) with a set of exercises to keep his body and mind moving forward while speaking. By keeping his body and mind in a state of flow, King George VI was able to keep his speeches moving forward whenever he had the urge to stutter. The speech therapist was teaching King George VI the habit of completion.
Here are two powerful, yet fun exercises developed here at EduTheta. They are particularly useful for transforming your energy around money, particularly feelings of 'not enough'. First exercise 1. Get yourself some 'fake' money notebooks that come in $20, $50 and $100 denominations. 2. Tear out however many you need to until you feel you have enough money. 3. Put this amount into your purse or wallet, separate to your real money of course.r
It is certain that finding the right partner is essential for a loving relationship. Yet, we have long held certain beliefs in our society, which don’t help us keep love once we find it! The divorce rate in America reflects this truth. One out of two marriages fail. Here are some beliefs we must change. The first goes like this. “I want to find the right person. Someone who will love and respect me.”
Hi there everyone!! I’m sitting on the subway across from a beautiful woman... I want to strike up a conversation, but my fears get the best of me. Then, this beautiful woman starts up a conversation with another person on the subway who is also a stranger to her (I eavesdropped on their conversation). Now I knew that she was, at least, a person open to having conversations with strangers (a "stranger talker").
I find it fascinating to listen when people are really talking about something about which they feel passionately. Their voice becomes stronger. They speak more rapidly. Sometimes they speak louder. Their voice quality changes in a way that moves the words they are saying from their mouth, into their throat, and then to their chest. My impression is always that the words are now coming from their heart. The transformation is pretty remarkable. Ordinary conversations turn into passionate speeches. The difference is that their passion has been ignited.
Synchronicity appeared to be at work on my recent Mediterranean cruise. I found myself sitting next to or speaking with people who had challenges with cancer. Some of these individuals wanted to know more about my approach to overcoming cancer. Half way into the cruise, I “woke up.” My daily intention, “be of service to others,” was happening while on vacation. I began carrying my business cards with me and gave them to anyone who wanted to know more about integrative wellness.
Most of us have beliefs about money that impact our relationship with it. These beliefs can help us succeed or serve as obstacles. Many times our attitudes and beliefs about money came from our family or our culture. Beliefs that made sense to our parents and grandparents may not really fit us today. These may have become limiting beliefs for us. Take an inventory and brainstorm about your beliefs about money.
Embarking on a journey of self-discovery means going into unfamiliar territory alone. On this path, you receive some guidance from those who have gone before, their sparse lanterns intermittently lighting the way. But what was set down as flame passes to dim light and you travel farther along. For a while, you may find yourself alone in the dark.rn rnI was feeling this way a couple weeks ago and asked the universe for guidance. I found myself absentmindedly opening a book on
Today I will share with you an important practice that can bring you insight on your life at "multidimensional" levels. Dreams are not just elaborations of the subconscious as many people think, but they are the symbolic language we use to communicate with the Universe. They are also the language through which the Universe communicate to us. When someone comes to me, the first thing I try to understand is what symbols are involved behind that person’s experience.
If you want to improve your relationships, if you want to build happier and longer lasting social connections, you have to learn how to better communicate. If let’s say for example you are in a relationship and your partner acts in ways that you no longer can accept, ways that are hurting your feelings, you have to know how to responds to his actions, his behaviors and words. You have to learn to stop reacting and start responding. Always talk about the behavior and not the person.
Creativity, in any form, is Divinity in action. Music is one of many ways to communicate spirituality. In just about any religion or "enlightenment training", participants are encouraged to memorize and recite words to support and encourage appropriate thinking. Thoughts, words, feelings and actions are creative energy, directed by our intention. Songs are word-energy infused with the strength of music to communicate and share.
The Christmas season that we are on the other side of holds a special place in my heart because my father was a part time Baptist preacher. I have fond memories of his moving sermons at this time of year about the beauty and purity of God's gift to us in Jesus through the virgin birth. Christmas, to me, was far more than presents under a tree. It was a time of spiritual truth so innocent, even a small boy could understand. Whether or not you believe the Christmas story of the virgin birth with a literal interpretation or as mythological symbolism, the message is powerful.
Your life change is inevitable. Isn't that a nice thought? Technically speaking, it's true. However, the average person usually fails to stick to their goals and in turn, their dreams fall by the wayside, and before you know it, their life has passed them by. But if you just stay focused on your end goal, your life will change and your goal will eventually be realized. When people say "help me change my life", what they are really saying is, "help me live the life I desire.
Many people are looking for meaningful relationships. Good relationships can lengthen your life span, impact your health, and bring great satisfaction and joy to your life. But sometimes it can be tough to figure out where to look. When you are looking for a meaningful relationship the key is to start looking in the right places. Here are some tips: 1. Look in places where you are likely to find people who share your beliefs about what is important. For example, if it is important that the person share your religious beliefs, you would most likely find them at church.
How do you deal with those negative people that keep showing up in your life? You know how I always say that nothing in this world happens by accident and how everything and everybody is here to teach us all a lesson. Well, apparently I don’t always walk the talk. I have to confess to you that I have times when I feel like I can’t take it anymore. There are people who know exactly what buttons to push, how to push them and when to push them. I am not perfect. When it happens it’s like I can’t think clear anymore and I forget everything I stand for, everything I believe in.
We have all had the experience of feeling "stuck" at some time or another in our lives or in our careers. No matter what we try to do, nothing seems to work. We spin our wheels and expend our energy, but don't seem to get where we want to go. When we feel stuck, we are often seeing our situation from a particular perspective. Our focus is on our specific planned approach, a particular outcome we want to achieve, and/or how we want others in the equation to behave. When things do not go as planned, it can be frustrating.
If you are a woman, your road to prosperity and success may not be paved with gold, but with guilt. As a girl, you absorbed hidden beliefs that now work underground to sabotage your adult capacity to manifest yours dreams. These Inner Enemies are the opposite of the elves who helped the shoemaker in the Grimm’s fairy tale. These gremlins undo what you do, invalidate the importance of what you want to do and pull some nasty tricks to get you out of the path to your dreams.
It is obviously a car that comes after education and home in an individuals 'to-do list' where he/she needs to put in a large amount to make it achievable. But the thing is it is not just the money that you ought to take into consideration, there are lots of other things that need to be considered equally. A Sacramento based people who run on tight budget find buyers of used cars in Sacramento CA as a better option than buying a brand new vehicle. But the question is how will
Fear is one of the most difficult emotions to manage. But if we don’t learn how to manage our own fear and help those around us to manage theirs, we are going to turn crisis into disaster. As a former psychotherapist I have spent many years witnessing people’s reactions to their own fear (and ...
It's that time of year again. As we raise our glasses to times gone by and tip our New Year's hats to welcome the hope of the future, many have a feeling that there's something different about 2008. It's not just another year for another resolution. They sense this coming year is one big ...
Oprah Winfrey is an artist, and her life is her canvas. She is a woman who constantly reinvents herself. She started out with a tabloid television show, and then transformed it into an iconic television show focused around self-help and spirituality. Then she transitioned from being a television host to owning her own network; it’s literally called the OWN Network. Although these changes may seem inevitable in hindsight, in the moment, they are giant leaps forward. She is a master at reinventing herself.
You make choices each and every day. Some decisions are conscious and others seem to happen without so much as a thought, but you are still choosing. You choose what time you will rise or go to bed, what you are going to eat or drink, what you are going to wear, what you are going to watch or read, what you are going to do or not going to do today, what road(s) you are going to travel, etc. Decisions are made by you during the day whether you are aware of them or not.
If you have tried to eliminate a bad habit, you know how difficult change can be. Your good intentions fall apart as you try to eliminate overeating, procrastinating, negative thinking or being disorganized. Too often, as you proceed toward your desired outcome, you bump into internal resistance ...
Front doors are first impressions. Like initial meetings that show people to be spotless, boring, or a complete wreck, a home’s entrance can say a lot about what may be lurking inside. Yes, everyone can have their own interpretation of “clean” but there is a line to be drawn. So take note –don’t take chances. All kinds of people come to your front door from the mailman to the pizza delivery boy to the in-laws and even if they’re only making a delivery they should at least co
“Teach me to dance...” So goes the line by the character Basil in Zorba the Greek after his friend Zorba has disastrously ordered a third log to shoot down their already-compromised zip line, publicly destroying what was left of the logging business both men had spent months creating.
Make your life a truly, divinely inspired one! Through daily conscious intentionality, your life has the ability to achieve unlimited potentiality. Using conscious intention to bring ourselves into wholeness allows for us to move into the realm of conscious co-creation. By taking time to honor the quiet, still voice within, the gift of our Soul's voice is heard and acknowledged. With your awareness placed centered in your heart, allow yourself to feel the energetic connection to your Soul.
What makes you, you? Think about that for a moment... There's probably a bunch of characteristics that come to your mind. Sometimes, the most basic of traits we overlook. For example, did you think about your gender, your ethnicity, or your age? We tend not to describe ourselves with these attributes because we don't want other people to judge our character or our personality based on these attributes. And, these are attributes that we may not have any control over -- we cannot change them, so we overlook them. One of my core traits is being an albino.
Have you ever had one of those days where the dust of today just doesn't seem to clear for tomorrow and where the emotional forecast is calling for more whirlwinds of irrational thoughts, perhaps mixed with some stress and/or anxiety, and bouts of crying, questioning, doubting , or worrying? You wake up and you are met with a new dawn but the prediction for it doesn't look much brighter than the the day before. Perhaps you are feeling the pressure and stresses of finances or a relationship, or that life is all work and no play, or you are facing an illness or someone you know is.
I have a true story I want to share with you. I love travelling and was planning a road trip to Arizona with my boyfriend who had just moved from Australia to be with me in Canada. He had never been to the United States and was anticipating the adventure. I had been to Arizona a few years back with a girlfriend and had fallen in love with the beauty of the desert.
