Chakra healing with visualization, EFT tapping, and hypnotic suggestion is used here in a light meditative state. Out of respect to those of you who do not EFT, this article starts with a non-EFT version. The EFT version is simply the same procedure with the addition of tapping. It can feel wonderful with the addition of tapping. A peel-me-off-the-ceiling feeling!

This method becomes more effective each time you do it, as it becomes more automatic and you no longer need to read it. This is usually a peaceful and calming exercise. On the rare occasion that any emotion or discomfort comes up for healing, just let it gently and safely dissolve in a healing mist of loving energy and flow out of your body. Kindly assume responsibility for your own physical and mental wellbeing.

You must not use these methods if you have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, psychosis, or manic depression.

Regardless of the above proviso, you are advised to consult with your physician before embarking on any alternative or complementary treatment.

For your treatment, you may prefer to wear loose, comfortable clothing for ease of movement and to allow the flow of energy. It is best to wait at least half an hour after a meal, and you may wish to go to the toilet before you start. Have a glass of water handy nearby in case you get thirsty.

At first, you can do this once a day. It opens up chakra blockages very gently.

As with any energy work, we start by imagining protection all around us, allowing in only good energy and keeping out anything that is not right for us. The way to do this is to imagine a special filter or shield all around you. Only the good healing energy can enter, anything else just bounces off, leaving you strong and protected.

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Allow the tension stored in the muscles of your scalp to gently be released, muscle by muscle. Do the same for your face, allowing the release of tension, gently and softly. Now let this release continue through the muscles of your neck, gently releasing tension all the way down to your shoulders, letting your shoulders drop. Allow the release all the way down your abdomen, then through your arms and legs, releasing tension all the way down through to the your feet, allowing it to leave through the soles of your feet.

Allow your mind to wander to a beautiful place where everything feels just right, wherever you want to be. In this beautiful place you can rest for a while, getting up later when your chakra healing has finished through your crown.

Starting with your Base or Root chakra, visualize it a vibrant red, and say to yourself: "I allow my Root chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and red". Meditate on this for a few minutes. If you cannot visualize it, say it. Next, visualize your Sacral chakra a vibrant orange, and say to yourself: "I allow my Sacral chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and orange". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

Then visualize your Solar Plexus chakra a vibrant yellow, and say to yourself: "I allow my Solar Plexus chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and yellow". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

Moving on to your Heart chakra visualize this a vibrant green, and say to yourself: "I allow my Heart chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and green". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

For your Throat chakra, visualize this a vibrant blue, and say to yourself: "I allow my Throat chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and blue". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

For your Third Eye chakra, visualize this a vibrant indigo, and say to yourself: "I allow my Third Eye chakra energy to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and indigo". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

For your Crown chakra, visualize this a beautifully pure violet, and say to yourself: "I allow my Crown chakra to be freely flowing, swirling, strong, vibrant, and violet". Meditate on this for a few minutes.

Now, if you do EFT, simply tap on all your usual EFT points as you say your chakra balancing statement. Start with the Sore Spot or Karate Chop, rubbing or tapping as you say the statement three times. Then tap on all the other points as you repeat the statement once on each point.
