Breath helps in all things. Deep diaphragmatic breathing is a great way to connect in the moment. You can follow the breath on its journey through your body, see it entering your nose down your throat into your belly deep in your lungs feeding your body the stuff of life, nourishing you, healing you. Watch is leave taking with it all the stress, disease and fear with it. There is a yogic technique of placing the tongue tip of the tongue to the top ridge of the mouth as you breath in and out of your nose brings immediate calming relief.
Become conscious of your breath going in and out. Try to use and feel all your lungs down deep in your belly up to your throat. Breath in light and move it through your body with your breath.
Breathe in and think, “I am calm.” Breathe out and think, “I smile. Breathe with loved ones of the past and present. You can breathe with your ancestors. Meditate while you walk and mindfully breathe in for a certain number of steps and exhale for the same amount of steps. Walk into the present moment gracefully like a lion or an elephant.
Try the chill out breath, just breathe out and then breathe in for a count of 5 and then breath out for a count of six. You will find a sense of calm growing.
Breath out the toxins, think Darth Vadar and breath out all the way, get the junk out of the bottom of your lungs.
Get centered, try triangular breathing. Simply breath in for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4 and breath out for a count of 4.
Stand in your power, try square breathing, just add one more side on your triangle. Breath in for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, breath out for a count of 4 and hold for count of 4.
Breath out Fear. Breath in through your nose “I breathe in Peace” Breath out through mouth “I breath out Fire.”
Feel safe and secure. So Hung loosely interpreted ‘my identity is infinite’. Breath in through your nose “So” Breath out through mouth “Hung”.
There is an amazing breath practice that helped me shed tons unnecessary negative programs deep in my subconscious. It is called Transformational Breath and it really did give me opportunity to transform. It was co-created by Judith Kravitz and is a specific breathe technique that is easily learned and wonderfully easy to use to positively affect my life.
