I strongly believe we are here on this earth to live life to its fullest; to feel, love, share, and to grow. Even a bad day is a temporary thing; it makes us appreciate a good day. To live, show love, and be grateful for all things keeps you grounded. To be aware, not only of yourself, but of others, their needs, their dreams and goals and help them obtain them. You will feel gratitude for helping someone to succeed and they will feel gratitude for your help.
Be grateful for the lesson. Life holds many lessons, some harder than others. Enjoy your successes and failures and learn from them. Be grateful for the experience it has given you.
Be grateful for not only your loved ones but for all things living on this earth as they offer so much. Your friends and family can offer you love, joy and compassion but our earth plays such a vital part of our being. From something as simple as a cool breeze to the beautiful sound of birds chirping, let nature bring you to a place of peace and tranquility.
Be grateful for the earth and all that we receive from her. Our bodies are nourished by what it brings forth. Our waterways and oceans sustain many forms of life; new species are constantly being discovered. Show your appreciation by keeping them clean.
Being grateful goes beyond having a roof over your head and food to eat, it is an appreciation for everything. Being grateful means that you are in a state of mind, that you realize and appreciate all that you have and realizing others may not have those things. Be content with what you have and what you don’t have.
Experience the feelings that come with gratitude. I am feeling overwhelmed with joy. I am happy and aware of all that have and all that I am, and I know that whatever comes my way; I will appreciate it and show my gratitude for it as well.
I appreciate you for all that you are; your views, your voice, your silence and your dreams. You have something so special when you feel gratitude, not everyone knows that special feeling.
Appreciate and show gratitude for all that you are. Accept who you are and love yourself for who you are. In a world that is in constant need of new things, a place where technology is prominent, remember the simpler things, the things that bring you a smile and feel peace. The scent of a beautiful flower, the sound of the water in a stream, the sight of a bird soaring, or the simplicity of the trees swaying in a gentle breeze, these are some things that you can’t buy or that technology can replace.
Gratitude is global! Appreciate those that speak in a foreign tongue. Show gratitude for their customs and traditions and all that it entails. By showing gratitude you remain open and willing to learn something from them. Gratitude has no limits, you can feel it anywhere. Give thanks for the water you drink and the food that you eat, and pray for those who are less fortunate. A smile goes a long way, and every country, every city and every home knows how to do it, it is just one way to show your appreciation. And always remember to give back; no matter how extravagant or simple, you always give back, that’s the highest form of gratitude. Pay it forward.
