This is for those of you who are missing that someone special at the table. For those of you who are trying to cope with the holidays. Here is a heartfelt hug for you. You will never understand the loneliness of a holiday until you have lost someone that means so much to you. I pray that this is something that you don’t have to endure, and if so, that you wallow in fond memories.

You aren’t really alone; your loved ones are still with you. They might not be eating your famous stuffing or grandma’s delicious pumpkin pie, but they are there with you. Before all the craziness of the holidays begin, take time by yourself and just think of the special moments you shared. When the rest of the family arrives sit down and talk about your favorite memories. You will be amazed at the things you never knew and the laughter that it brings.

When you bow your head to say grace, give thanks for those memories. Give thanks that you were able to have that precious time with the ones that you love. Give thanks for this day and the next. Bring out photos of holidays gone by with your loved ones. The gift of life is our memories. I will say a special prayer for you to help you make it through the holidays. I know your heart is broken, but it is full of loving memories. Concentrate on those memories. Just as strongly as you loved them, they loved you too.

Author's Bio:

I have a website, http://www.WomensRecreation.com, that is designed to help others. I do believe that we are here on this earth to learn from each other. I don't think that we give each other enough credit. I know our world can be harsh and cold and some people might not necessarily have family or friends to count on. I write all my articles and blogs. All are meant to offer hope and encouragement for others.

I wrote two books "Walk in Peace" and "My Soulful Journey" which can be purchased at https://www.winepressbooks.com/search.asp?select=Keywords&search=Tami+Pr... Again, these books are tools to help you through whatever it is that you might be going through. It is to offer you hope and encouragement.

I also have a Blog Talk Radio show. I mainly interview authors, but I have interviewed many subject matters. Please feel free to listen to the archives at http://www.BlogTalkRadio.com/womensrecreation
