Mixing movement into your days is exactly what needs to happen to increase your measure of health and amplify your ability to lose weight. Mixing up your genre of movement is imperative to continue successfully on your journey, however, taking advantage of all the various ways to combine physical activity into your day is more convenient and easier than you think.

It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Sometimes you may think that if you can’t spend 45 minutes or so moving your beautiful self, what’s the point in doing anything at all? Our society, more often than not, has groomed us into the belief that unless we hit the ground running and really spend enormous amounts of time participating in physical activity we will not reap the benefits. Granted, you do need to formulate a schedule where movement is a mainstay, however, each and every day doesn’t have to be oodles of time, because let’s face it, with all your other obligations you just don’t have the opportunity to fit it in sometimes. That’s real life; we are being realistic and taking this journey one step at a time.

Looking for ways in your day to include small bursts of extra movement into every nook and cranny adds up to increased activity on a daily basis = change = results. For instance, why not try:

•Parking further away from any event that includes walking to the venue.
•Taking the stairs instead of an elevator or moving walkway.
•Squatting each time you use the restroom instead of sitting.
•Sitting up tall, shoulders back and trunk area taught.
•Power clean to music, pick up the pace and really speed through your jobs.
•After brushing and flossing your teeth drop and do as many push-ups as you can. It doesn’t matter how many, just do it.
•Choose to visit a feasible bathroom that is the furthest away from your workspace.
•Why not sit on an exercise ball instead of a chair. Strengthens your core and sense of balance.

Who do all these tips apply to? You! Who can decide to make a difference in their life? You can!
