“Eye Drops are Super Expensive… Here is a Great Alternative”

Here is a great herbal eye drop preparation that anyone can make to soothe away red itchy eyes.

First Make Your Own Saline Solution - Make your own eye saline solution by taking one liter of distilled water adding one teaspoon of regular salt until the salt is dissolved.

Second Add Boric Acid Solution for the Eyes - Add 2 teaspoons of sterile boric acid solution for the eyes that you can find at any drugstore. This boric acid solution is very soothing and it’s also antibacterial and anti-fungal. Ask your pharmacist about boric acid solution it’s very inexpensive.

Third Add Rose Petals - Add 4 red rose petals… rose petals are very soothing for the eyes. Rose petals contain Vitamin A, C, D, and E and some B Vitamins. Rose Petals also contains antioxidants, and they are a mild sedative, antidepressant, and mood-enhancing agent. And they soothe away eye irritations. Rose water is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and can be used for all kinds of skin ailments like eczema, psoriasis, and works great for sunburns too and works well for irritated eyes.
 
Fourth Add Chamomile Tea - Add 2 tablespoons of Chamomile Tea. Chamomile tea is very soothing for the eyes. Chamomile is also a good anti-inflammatory agent that can soothe away eye irritations. Chamomile creates a healing balm for mucus membranes of the eyes, gums, intestines, and helps with mouth ulcers as a gargle… also works well for arthritis, joint pain, and rheumatism and soothes away other irritations. And a new study shows that Chamomile is just as effective as 1% hydrocortisone for inflammation.

Bring to a Roaring Boil for 30 Minutes - Bring all of this to a roaring boil for 30 minutes, let cool and strain through sterile gauze pad that you can find at any drugstore… and place in a sterile glass bottle with a tight cap and keep this solution in the fridge for 10 days.

Dose - Use these eye drops as needed with a sterile eye dropper.

Storage - Store in the refrigerator at all times.

This Solution Will Keep for 20 Days - At the end of 20 days throw all the solution out and make a new batch. Remember this solution will keep for no longer than 20 days. And if you think your drops have been contaminated throw them out and start over… don’t take a chance.

Drink Water - Also, drink lots of water, lots of people end up with irritated red eyes because of not drinking enough water.

***Important - Care must be used in making these eye drops. Please make sure everything you use is sterile when making and storing this solution.
