Whenever you make a change in your life that involves hard work, it can sometimes be difficult to stay motivated. Finding it hard to get up in the morning to go workout doesn’t make you lazy. It makes you human. Working out is hard work. Here are some tips to help you stay motivated.

 Set attainable milestones. Milestones are different from goals in that they can be much smaller. A goal would be to run a 5K. A milestone on the way to reaching that goal could be jog an entire mile without having to stop and walk. The more milestones you set, the more often you celebrate your successes.
 There’s a reason you started working out. Everyone has different reasons for starting an exercise routine. What’s important is to focus on what those reasons are for you. Maybe you want to lose those last pounds of belly fat after having a baby. Maybe you want to get your stamina up to play with the grandkids. Maybe you just want to feel better. Whatever the reason, focus on it. It’s your reason, and on those days where you don’t want to get up and get moving, own that reason.
 Fit fitness into every day. There’s no law of fitness that says your 30 minutes of exercise a day has to be part of a regimen. Anything that gets your heart beating faster, and if possible gets you using your muscles at all, counts towards your daily exercise goal. Mowing the lawn, sweeping the garage, doing the laundry; all of these everyday chores can help you reach that 30 minute total.
 Keep a journal. If you keep track of what you do in a day, you might surprise yourself with just how much you actually accomplish in a day. A great motivator to keep going is to see just how far you’ve already come. Journal your milestones. Celebrate your success on paper so you can always go back and relive how good that moment felt.

It’s not the end of the world if you miss a day of camp or don’t reach your 30 minute goal. The important thing to remember is to get back into it. Keep yourself motivated, and you’ll reach your goals!

Why a women's only camp at 5:30am? Funny...but the inspiration came from being surrounded by amazing women in my life starting with both of my grandmothers who have passed away, my amazing mom, and my older sister that used to kick my butt a lot when I was very young! lol... I saw the struggles they went through with trying to stay fit at all ages, and wanted to create an environment that any of them could join and feel comfortable in..unlike the typical gym atmoshere experience where they were left intimidated, confused, and at some points... even felt taken advantage of by high pressured, sales people (I mean trainers).

I am proud to say Michigans Adventure Boot Camp is rapidly expanding throughout Southeast Michigan as I continue with my vision of attracting professionally like-minded women, moms, and housewives to our boot camps which is ultimately a comfortable community where women can connect and make friends, receive support and motivation, while receiving premium fitness training that is safe, fun, and effective for all fitness levels. This is all part of a much bigger vision we have to be a major component and catalyst in helping the women of Michigan become the healthiest and most fit women in the country.
