“A well-developed sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life.”- William Arthur Ward

Life is a journey of learning and finding the balance of life. What I would like to share in the next paragraphs is 7 essential elements to a Balanced Life. First of all, we need to think about two aspects: Internal and External. Each of them includes several elements that you should look at carefully.
Internal balance
Internal balance comes from the balance of mind, heart, and health, inside the body, and can hardly be seen or be measured.
Mind: Peace and harmony in mind, no negative thoughts, and feelings like anxiety, anger or jealousy, etc. Get close and familiar with religion, beliefs, and nature like mountain and ocean to refuel yourself and get your energy back. Whenever you do not feel right, try to settle down for yourself to think it over.
Heart: Be open to give and take love. Always remember and be grateful for so much love you get and whenever you have a chance, try to give these love to people who need them. The more you give, the more you get.
Health: Try to keep yourself healthy and improve your immune system function by taking exercise routinely and properly yoga or jogging, having a balanced and healthy diet, and sleeping with good quality, etc. Only if you are healthy and strong enough, you will be able to have energy, physical strength, and determined will to do what you want to do without excuses, worries, and hesitation to have a good achievement.
External balance
External balance comes from the balance of work & career, financial independence, social relationship, family, fun. Most of the time there are certain and specific things that can be really talked about and visualized. Trying to seek balance among these factors and think about your role and relationship with people around you in a sound and moderate way.
Work: Manage your time between your work and life. Sometimes you work more and sometimes you have your life more. It differs over time on a daily basis and you would like to achieve equilibrium.
Social: Establish and maintain a close relationship with a few people – your friends who may be your neighbors, colleagues, and kindergarten classmates for your social desires and supporting rather than live in isolation. When you want to share enjoyment, interests, achievements and even tears with them, you can be with them comfortably. If you want to laugh, they can be with you. If you want to cry, they can be with you. Also, do not forget to save some time for yourself so as to a satisfactory state of life.
Family: Never forget where you come from and your family tradition and story. Always feel grateful for what you have and what your parents and ancestors give you such as talents, good appearance, wealth and etc. Take your responsibilities in the family at different stages even though you get tied up with your work or personal life until they come to the balance.
Fun: A well-known proverb said that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. You have to make time for what you like to engage in or what you like to do for fun. Maybe it is painting, dancing, reading books. Something is not too serious about. As long as the activity can make you feel relaxed and recreative, even playing video games would be fine. After that, you would be more energetic and ready to fight again. Enjoy what you do for fun and try not to be over-obsessed about it.

“In all aspects of our lives, balance is key.” – Catherine Pulsifer

Having a balanced life is never easy, especially when so many things and people that need your care and attention no matter emotionally and physically. It turns out to be no exact and certain blueprint for you to achieve balance. Keep in mind that the balance differs from yours and mine. The priorities change, the goals change or people change, the balance you changes. If you want to make it successful, you need to take it more seriously. The more resilient you are, the more instinctively you know how to adjust your behavior. Be open-minded and enjoy it.
