Treatment for Varicose Veins
1. Home Remedies
Varicose veins can be cured or prevented at home by using following tips:
• Lifestyle Modification: It includes physical activities such as swimming or walking. Avoid standing for longer periods of time as it may pool blood in the veins and makes the symptoms worse. While sleeping keep the legs elevated so that there is emptying of blood from the veins.
• Venous / Compression Stockings: It helps to regulate flow of blood and reduces the swelling of legs. It also reduces the risk of blood clots in the veins.
• Medication: Tab daflon increases the venous time, improves lymph drainage and protects the microcirculation.
