Do you think philanthropy is only for the really wealthy – Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Bono, Bob Geldof, Mac Robertson, Stephen Tindall and the like?

Well that’s just plain wrong. I’ll show you why.

It used to be that business finance, business credit and so on was only for the “serious” and business people who could afford it. Well along came Muhammad Yunus with a vision for a whole new paradigm -microfinance. He transformed the world for entrepreneurs with small not even started businesses in developing countries. He pioneered these ideas of microfinance and microcredit and made such a difference to the lives people in impoverished communities that he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.

His idea of combining philanthropy and business was that helping communities could be achieved in small steps; it was not just the domain for governments and large companies handing out millions and billions of dollars in aid. He made loans to poor people. He believed in them and that given the chance these people will repay the loans. He discovered that all it took was a few dollars direct to a small village baker or fisherman or seamstress was all it took to give the community hope and a positive way forward. Step by step this transformed whole regions and even countries. He wasn’t about think big to make big he was about thinking small to make big.

To be sure he encountered much opposition from people stuck in the old paradigm, ultra-conservative clergy through to violent radicals. He believed in his vision and he persisted and he won and he made a big change happen in the world.

And I’m here to tell you that now there’s away for you to earn money and be a philanthropist on a scale for normal people like you and me. A completely new, and dare I say it revolutionary, way of becoming a “philanthropreneur”. The word is a bit of a mouthful I know but it’s a combination of being both an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. Another name for us is “social entrepreneurs”. Earning money for ourselves and our families in a home business and giving back to the world. There are lots of people all over the world doing this – our community is growing and growing.

To be really effective at this of course you need a vehicle or system so that your efforts are as productive as possible. (Yunus created the Grameen Bank to accelerate his vision) This way your time is used most efficiently, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel and the profits you create go at the same time to your bank account and directly and safely to the people in need.
And what if the money could benefit other worthwhile projects to? Like repairing the environment – even just one tree at a time and protecting endangered species – one animal at a time. That’d be great too wouldn’t it?

I have discovered this new way and it’s through a network business that passes a big chunk of HQ profits through to the coal face where it’s needed. Right from the get go you start giving back through our “First Fruits” project. From your registration fee one person gets clean drinking water for 10 years! That’s right. And just by staying involved in our community each month you do the same - give someone else clean water for 10 years. It’s fantastic.

And it gets better – as I said this revolutionary new system is a home based business. This means it’s a way for you to earn a great living for you and your family working right from your home. You earn great profits from your efforts (US$500 - $1,000 at a time) and 80% of the company profits from your sales go to a philanthropic project that you nominate. Right now you have a choice of providing clean water (my favourite), feeding starving children, saving endangered animals or planting trees for the future. This is your contribution to changing the world for the better – one step at a time. And there’s more coming.

This is a powerful approach and even if you have never owned a business before the company provides you with all the systems you will need and free training several times every week from immensely successful industry leaders. There is a fantastic community of philanthropreneurs here too! The business model and the pay plan are leading edge so that you can take your earnings (and your giving) as far and as fast as you want. The leverage in the compensation plan gives you great profits now and allows you to create a powerful residual income stream for your future.

This really is a business you can feel good about helping yourself and helping those in need at the same time.
