Why did George Orwell Write Animal Farm: The Soviet Inspiration
George Orwell also known as Eric Arthur Blair wrote the Animal Farm during World War II and it was published in 1945. He was a democratic socialist and has written the Animal Farm to criticize the Stalin era. The major events in the book are based on Soviet Union.
