Below is an article investigating a driving force in people's lives, their agendas. There are agendas that people are aware of and then there are those of which they are unaware. It is the latter that causes the mischief that shows up in our daily lives. In this column, we are going to identify some of the typical types of agendas the two of us have seen during the course of working with people over the past 12 years. It has been our experience that when people see what they have been doing mechanically and don't judge what they see, they then have a choice to continue their actions or not.
Spring is wonderful season for planting the seeds of abundance. Flowers bloom in abundant colors, gardens yield fresh yummy vegetables and the sun shines for outdoor adventures with family and friends. Abundance truly is many things to many people. Have you ever seen someone do the money dance? You know, where they take their arms and swing them in circular motions, all while singing, “I am in the money, I am in the money.” The money dance makes you smile and resonates happy energy. Everything in life has the possibility of becoming a dance. The dance you choose is up to you.
In the past few years, the way we communicate has expanded so much that it has affected everything we do. A lot of the processes we use to communicate are not new. Think about it; the first telephone was invented in 1876, the first television in 1925, and the first computer 1939. They have all been retooled for efficiency and entertainment and are more and more frequently combined into one small hand held device. We also communicate through various forms of writing. Do you text? Do you use email? Are you a writer? Do you Tweet?

Many people come to me and complain that life is too complicated. That they never feel like anything is going right. That as hard as they try to fix a situation it remains unresolved. Blah, Blah, Blah, … you get the picture as we all have felt this way a time or two – some more frequent than others. If you are not familiar with the term vision board, let me explain what it is. A vision board is simply a collage of images, quotes and affirmations of your goals and dreams pasted on poster board giving you a visual for what you want to attract into your life. One of my dreams is to be interviewed on the Oprah show!!! So, ideally, I would collect pictures of guests on Oprah's show and insert my picture instead, creating a visible reality for my dream. In other words, I have a visual reminder to focus on and can experience the feeling of my dream.
Fairy tales have an enormous and irreplaceable value in the life of a child. They educate, support and liberate the emotions of children. Fairy tales provide a unique way for children to come to terms with the dilemmas of their inner lives. The prince, the tailor, the miller, snow white – all of these are images of different elements of our own nature. It is this resonance which endears these figures to us. Because of a freak accident that fractured her hip and broke her back, she now needs full time care. She is unable to get into her home or enjoy the simple things she did just two years ago. I was called to help Eleanor assess her situation. She faces the difficult decision of whether or not to move to a new home or modify her existing home so she can stay there.

Do you know how many opportunities are missed by not striking up a conversation with someone in an elevator for example? How about when you are waiting in line at a popular restaurant? Maybe you are sitting at the airport in preparation for your flight. Perhaps you are waiting for the doors to open at a football stadium or hockey arena. You could be one of thousands of people taking the subway in New York or the El in Chicago.
Significance and Importance. The words resonate with meaning. Yet each one has a very different connotation when it comes to human relationships. Significance is defined as representing someone or the expression of what one is. For example, on the day you were born you had NOTHING but a birthday suit, yet EVERYTHING you needed to equip you for life. Your birth signified a new life. A symbol of something wonderous and grand. This signifcance continues throughout your life.
We have all already established an identity. Don’t be afraid to let this identity be up for change. In many instances we find ourselves adapting to situations, almost like being different characters in a play. This gives rise to the many faces of the one person, acting out different roles in different situations, being different things for different people and so often hiding our true Self. Success is not about right or wrong. It’s all about being real.
