Job searching in Higher Education is different from the traditional corporate job search. The rules for resumes are different (administrative resumes can easily be 3-4 pages, and senior administrators and faculty will often have CVs anywhere between 10-30 pages, depending on their publications, affiliations and expertise.) Interviews for even the "entry level" jobs in higher education may be multi-person, multi-day, or multi-stage. The interview experience may feature presentations, meals, tours, lodging and meetings with everyone from student volunteers to the Dean, President or Chancellor.
By working with a coach that has extensive experience in higher education, including hiring experience, professional staff supervision, training and evaluation, you get someone who speaks your language, understands the nuances of higher ed job searches, and I can help you get where you want to go in your career.
