Trees are fabulous! They are the lungs of the planet. They do an amazing job for us- they take our waste product (carbon dioxide) and they turn it into what we breathe- oxygen.

What is The Law of Correspondence? Well, the Law of Correspondence states that the quality of your experience of life directly correspondence with the quality of thoughts held in your mind- the conscious, the sub-conscious and super-conscious. What does this mean exactly? Well, your beliefs both the ones you hold on a conscious level and the ones that you have on a subconscious level - (the beliefs you don't know about that are buried) create your life. If you are consciou
Since most of us are leaders now, let us be true in examining ourselves. From the time we knew about our God and our Savior, and from the time we get busy with the ministry, did we experience feeling so tired and felt like giving up? It seems that we are already too exhausted and drained because of our busy schedules? The truth is, it’s normal for people to get tired, but it’s not normal for us to give up and decrease our faith in God. Why do we get tired? When the time I became a true Christian, I was taught that faith without work is dead (James 2:26) .
There's an old Chinese blessing and curse that goes something like this... "May you live in interesting times." Well, for better or worse we certainly are living in interesting times right now. Lately, you can't watch the news or read the paper (oh, come on, you remember the paper don't you?), or log onto your computer without being reminded just how interesting things are in the world. Wars, failing economies, government instability, oh my!
"Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart." When Jalal al din Rumi wrote those words in thirteenth century Persia it is unlikely that he had any idea of the vast array of career and life choices available to a twenty-first century human being. With the staggering number of career possibilities and life paths available to each of us, how do you know what is truly right for you? My work with clients, in the spiritual realm, has given me a unique perspective on career, purpose, and spiritual path.
Mention the word “tantra” and the first thing that comes to mind is sex. While it is true that sex is an important aspect of tantra, it is just one component of this ancient spiritual path. Known as the path of the householder, tantra practices are beneficial to our physical, spiritual, emotional and sexual health. Sexual health can be improved naturally thru the tantric sex. Besides sharing a strong body/mind/spirit connection, every loving couple should also enjoy multiple, powerful sexual orgasms which will stimulate and increase the secretion of the pineal and pituitary glands.
After Mary heard the amazing news that she would become the mother of our Lord and Savior, she went to visit her cousi Elizabeth who was going to have John the Baptist. This story is so precious. Every mother loves to feel their baby move around inside of them, but John’s jump must have been the greatest leap of all time! This part of Luke One is also where we are give Mary’s beautiful song of praise to her God. Take some time to go over this with your children. Maybe encourage them to come up with their own song of praise.
Combining visualization, meditation and affirmation provides a powerful means to reaching your goals. By visualizing you connect and communicate with your subconscious in pictures. We dream in pictures or symbols, physics receive messages in pictures, and all through the ages prophets have been given visions or pictures. By visualizing while in a relaxed state of meditation, we are more receptive to the messages of the affirmation and less conscious of the chatter of the critical ego.r
Acceptance simply means "EMBRACING WHAT IS". Acknowledging the "what is"......may include yourself, your spouse, significant other, job, house, health or a set of circumstances. With ACCEPTANCE, we embrace PEACE. And, it's in this peace that miracles happen. For those of us that thrive on ...
Sanatana Dharma also known as Sanaatan Dharma is a sanskrit term meaning "ete al law," "ete al religion" or "the ete al unchanging occupation of the soul in its relation to the Supreme Being." Thus one who follows the principles of Sanatana Dharma is led back to a pure state of consciousness of a unified relationship with the Source. Many make the mistake of equating Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma as the same concept which isn't necessarily true.
Just recently I create a vision chart. The chart contained pictures, scriptures, words, and phrases that represented by goals, dreams, and desires. It encompassed core areas including my career, social life, health, recreation, spirituality, education, relationships, and self care. To create my vision chart I perused favorite magazines and cut out images and words that resonated in my heart. Creating a vision chart gave me a keen sense of focus and empowerment regarding my future. Although my life was not aimless, I had no tangible road map.
Many people in our society choose to endure relationships long beyond what is deemed to be healthy. To some people, having a relationship at all, regardless of how miserable it makes you, is better than being on your own, and all that this implies. To others, early childhood programming has taught them to put up with what life presents, and so there really does not seem to be a choice to them- they must make the best of what they have.
Remember hearing this from your parents when you were growing up: “Don’t touch that! You might break it!” As parents, we direct our children to keep their hands off of lots of things when they are young, but they should always be encouraged to touch Jesus. Here is a fun Bible object lesson centered on the story of Jesus healing the woman who touched the hem of His garment and was healed. You can find this passage in Luke 8:40-56. Here’s what you do:r
As I fumbled through some old files this evening, cleaning up my home office, I ran across a jou al of quotes I’d started in 1994. (Ok, yes, I had quite a stack of books and papers I was going through.) I opened the jou al, and right there on the first page was a quote that caught my eye and I ...
It is a grave thing to think that if Jesus is not living in someone’s life they are as good as dead. The life that Jesus gives is completely fulfilling and ete al. May we learn not to take it for granted. Colossians 3:4 says “Jesus…is our life.” Here is a fun Bible object lesson for your kids to learn about this important verse. Here’s what you do: The object you will use for this lesson is an empty box of Life Cereal. Inside the box, put 6 index cards. Write the 6 aspects about life found in Point 2, one on each card. When you find yourself getting stuck in negative ways of thinking and being, instead of positive ones, remember this is your Ego. Ego is that part of you that holds onto images, thoughts and feelings that are based on fear, doubt and suspicion etc It springs from the earlier need for survival and uses the reptilian part of the brain. The problem is, left to itself it has a tendency to want to take control and can take such a hold that it feels almost impossible to change.
What does it mean to hear God’s voice? Is it possible for every-day people to hear from God? Do you get messages from God? Read on! Many people have been told that hearing from God is unlikely, or even impossible. Prayer is okay, many people think, because that means a human is talking. But, actually hearing a message from God is suspect – some may even call you crazy if you claim such a thing! You may have grown up believing that only certain people (priests, for instance) are able to know God’s words. These special people then have to pass on God’s words to the rest of us.
How to have a closer walk with God? Christians have struggled with the flesh since the early apostles walked the dusty roads of Jerusalem, hence the Bible states, "The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak" (Matthew 26:41b KJV). How do you overcome the flesh to have a closer walk with God? Can you overcome the works of the flesh in your own strength? Not hardly. But before you role up your spiritual sleeves to tackle this task of overcoming the flesh to discover how to have a closer walk with God, let's first define what the flesh is.

Great leadership is about power, yet it is not about power over others. The power of a great leader is to create an environment where others are empowered to offer their best. This is not working through people where others become extensions of you, the leader. This is dedicating yourself to the growth and development of others. Great leadership is service to others. Service to others, if it is to be effective, must be egoless. In his book, Good to Great, Jim Collins discusses the leaders of great companies.
Psalm 52:8 says this: “I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.” God’s mercy can be described in many different ways. For example, His mercy is tender. His mercy is great. His mercy never fails and most importantly, His mercy is undeserving by sinners such as you and I. Here is a fun Bible object lesson to help your kids learn this truth. Here’s what you do: The object you will use for this lesson will be a bouquet of 4 different flowers – one yellow, one red, one purple and one orange. Does Synchronicity Exist? I have a friend who is a bit skeptical about the existence of synchronicity. S. and I have been discussing synchronicities and interconnectedness--that there might be a design to the universe that we can tap into for our own benefit--for about three weeks now. But he doesn't see this as a real possibility yet. I can relate, of course. Years ago, when I experienced synchronicities relatively seldom, I didn't read much into them either. Yesterday I received an email from S.:
2 Corinthians 12:9: "And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." Humility Humility is the genuine acknowledgment of one's weakness, ...

We are all familiar with the saying “don’t assume because it makes an ass of you (u) and me”. While it may seem like an over-used cliché, I can’t help but reflect on the truth of this little quip. Haven’t we all gotten into trouble at one point or another for assuming things were one way when in fact that couldn’t have been further from the truth? It is no surprise that not assuming is one of the four agreements to finding peace and balanced outlined by Don Miguel Ruiz in his book The Four Agreements.
The old adage of âtime and tide wait for noneâ is apt and applicable across decades and centuries. Right from the time of Noah till today, time and tide have waited for none! Just because you want your lunch break to go on, that does not mean time will stop ticking for you or fishermen would want high tide all the time, but tide does not listen to any one. It follows its own cycle immaterial of what people want. rnTime and tide are symbols of things in the world which do
Inner Growth is the force that awakens, grows, is fortified and mature in a very special way where each heart always has quite long moments that seem an ete ity. Thus, Inner Growth may seem to be an unattainable effort, it is not something simple, it is not as to read a book and to learn the story by heart. Nevertheless it is something that supports us so we can resist the most terrible and tremendous times and help us to make the correct decisions.
Sometimes it is difficult to cut the cord to your enabling adult child when you feel it is against your beliefs. Who is to blame?
Is there something that you are waiting for that when you feel you have a guarantee about it then you will continue with it? When you are absolutely SURE of an outcome then you will take action, attend a course, get married, start a business, travel the world, whatever it may be are you waiting for a guarantee that it will "ALL BE OKAY"
I have the privilege of offering teacher training workshops to hundreds of Sunday School teachers and children’s workers every year. I love what I do, but sometimes I don’t like what I hear. Take, for example, this question: Do you have something easy I can do for Sunday School? If I am honest, when I hear that, it’s like hearing finge ails being scraped on the chalkboard. On one hand, I know we are all busy and life is more hectic than ever.

As Christians, I think many of us have points in our lives to which we could go back. Job certainly did. If anyone should have wanted to go back to the way things were in the past, I would think it was Job. But thankfully, Job learned to trust God like never before. I think he understood that his present day life could be just as joyous as his past. Your children may have longings for yesterday especially in regards to their friendship with Jesus.
Have you have ever wondered as to your soul’s purpose, why you are here? The Book of Life will provide the answers. I remember clearly the first time I intentionally accessed the Akashic records. I went to look for details in my life at a time when I was feeling stuck. I had clear questions I wanted answering: was I ever going to get married and to whom? Trotting off up there in meditation, I was not expecting any real answers. I was experimenting but I did want to know the answers to my questions.
The importance of kinship and maintaining the ties of kinship is evident from the teachings of Quran and Islam. One can easily see that it is very important as the teachings have been repeated numerous times in the Hadith and Quran. According to a Hadith,rnâWhoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain the bonds of kinship.â (Bukhari)rnAllah urges Muslims to be kind and compassionate in all kinds of dealings with friends and family members. In this case, fa

From the first time we open our eyes we begin imitating our parents. When our caretakers smile at us we learn to smile. When our caretakers get frustrated we learn frustration. When we meet other children, especially in early elementary school, it is often comical how much they act and talk like their parents. Like little birds they parrot what they commonly hear their parents say.
Independent thinkers are growing in number. Though still a tiny minority, everyday more and more people are throwing aside conformity and seeking to understand spiritual themes direct from their own hearts, and not through any person, book or organization on earth. Though these can be ...
A primary element of the law of Attraction, and being a deliberate creator, is focus. You are always focusing on something, whether intentionally or by default. But our society has become addicted to stimulation and most people allow the distractions of the day to dictate what they think about. This causes scattered thoughts and lack of focus. A recent survey of my newsletter subscribers asked the question: "What are the main obstacles regarding the implementation of the Law of Attraction in your daily life?" The number one answer was lack of focus (41%).
The birth of a grandchild is a special event. My baby is having a baby any day now. The excitement of welcoming a new family member is in the air.
