Decisions, decisions, decisions…. Some of us are clear-cut, confident deciders while others hem and haw and find it tough to commit. Not deciding is deciding, yet many think that if they can be nice and vague, then they can’t be wrong. They can wiggle out and casually say, “Oh, no I didn’t mea THAT, I meant …..” And then they get disappointed when that lack of decision making bites them in the ass. Opportunities go by and regret fills in where delaying has caused loss: “The discount is over, sorry,” or “that house got sold yesterday.” Making decisions is all about trusting you.

The recent economic crisis has caused many people to reevaluate their business or career interest. As a result of the turmoil, I have had the opportunity to speak with different individuals and groups about the concept of finding your true passion in business. The idea that what you do is what you love to do. Knowing yourself, finding your true purpose in life, is the essence of true and real. You have to be, before you do, to have lasting inner peace. In other words, making a living is not the same as making a life.

Reflecting back on the past year and looking ahead to 2019, I would like to share this quote with you: “There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.” ~ Ray Goforth
I went to a Zumba class the other day, my fourth since they started at my gym so you could say my attendance has been a little sporadic at best . However I was determined not to miss another one so at 11.30 on Monday morning myself and about 20 other women stood eagerly awaiting the aerobic studio filling with the sounds of reggaton and salsa music .
"It's no good! I'm just *hopeless* with figures!" If you've ever said that to yourself then don't worry - you're not alone. Many people believe themselves to be math phobic or "numerically challenged". However the fact is they are probably not hopeless at all... Most likely they had an ...
I'd like to start this post by telling you a story. A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family doctor to discuss the problem. The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.
Can you answer that question quickly and with a nice long list? If you can’t you’re not alone. So many people really struggle with this question. If I asked you the questio "What do you dislike about yourself?" Would the answers flow freely and make a long list? If so, again, you have lots of company. What got me thinking about this topic again was our monthly full moon gathering.

OK boys and girls, here it is. The advice in this particular lesson may seem a little bit "hokey" but trust me when I tell you...IT WORKS! I'm not going to go over the importance of having goals; my guess is that if you've made it this far then you already know how important goals are. But what I would like to talk about is HOW to set your goals. There are a few specific things you must do if you want to reach your goals as fast as humanly possible; here they are. First, you MUST set realistic goals! The single biggest mistake that most people make is that they set unrealistic goals.
Research has shown that people perform at higher levels when they are coached as opposed to “managed”. So, you might be asking, what is coaching, in a nutshell? What are some of the tools I can use as a leader? How, specifically, do I have a “coaching” conversation?
I recently have been reminded of something I have known but had forgotten its importance. Everything you do should come from a place of pure joy in your heart. It is key to your success and happiness. When you do every task, even the mundane with joy and gratitude - that task will be done successfully. No matter how easy a task or how difficult, the key is a joyful heart and an attitude of gratitude. Your heart emits the perfect frequency for manifestation when you are filled with joy and gratitude. Being thankful is like your drink with your meal.
If you manage employees, work with customers or deal with the ups and downs of relationships…you must have heard “you are not listening" or "you are not hearing me.” I bet it does not feel good and it most likely makes you more defensive. Perhaps you read articles and received feedback about “listening vs hearing” or how to improve your listening skills. Has it made a difference? It’s all well intended and yet not always helpful.
Time is the great equalizer. It doesn’t matter how rich you are or how poor you are. Not even how famous, infamous or average you are. Time does not stop for anyone and you can’t get more of it. You can’t slow it down or speed it up. With each breath that you take or heartbeat in your chest, time moves forward. We all get a finite amount of it, so it is up to us to invest our time wisely. How have you invested your time so far this year? Are you making progress toward your goals or are you just watching time march on by?
I was surprised to learn that A, B & C aren’t the most popular letters in the alphabet! With an 8.17% rating, E is in fact, the most popular letter in the alphabet. Z is the last letter in the alphabet and ironically, it’s the least favorite with a 0.07% rating. You’re probably wondering if I’m going to rate all of the letters in the alphabet. No worries, but one day it dawned on me that some of my Favorite words begin with the letter “F”.
Communication in the workplace has to do with how we interact with our colleagues on many different levels simultaneously. It has to do with how we plan and convey the messages we want to give, both verbally and nonverbally; and with how we listen to, interpret, and respond to others’ messages. And one way to characterize the successful execution of this is to say that we’ve engaged in effective dialogue.
A few times a year, every year, I brush off the patio furniture in the back yard, remove the cover from the propane gas barbecue and wipe it down. My friends begin to arrive; we break out the wine and beer, chips and salsa, deviled eggs and the pickle tray. I open the valve to the propane tank and then gingerly turn the knobs on the grill and standing back as far as I can, poke the button to ignite the flames. When I feel that sense of relief in the next few seconds that I am not on fire nor have I singed off my eyebrows, I do my best to adjust the flames and close the lid on the grill.
Lester Levenson taught me that the ONLY thing stopping my goals was my SELF IMPOSED LIMITATIONS. What does that mean in every day terms? It means that WE have put the brakes on postive changes in our lives, and these appear as negative thoughts and feelings. You can experience these whenever you think of something you really want, like more money or a new job. What pops up when you imagine something good happening for you?

The world is definitely changing, and this can be viewed as both, bad news…or good news. The bad news is that your savings may be dwindling and you may have to readjust your budget and lifestyle. In this process, and the stress of the unknown, your relationships and mental, physical and financial health are potentially at risk. The good news is, if you don’t resist the changes, you can reinvent yourself for the better in this process. This is the wisdom in ‘RE’ and the ground
I was watching the news for the Los Angeles area the other day and was really struck by the stories and their negative spin. This week I thought about this question quite a bit. As a love of nature and especially animals, I was struck with a conflict. As I was mowing the lawn on Monday I startled a sick and injured robin. It hobbled toward a tree and just sat there. I watched this poor thing sit there scared and hop back and forth attempting to fly, fluttering into the neighbor’s fence, and basically sitting still with its head drooped. It just pained me to no end to watch this. I thought for sure by morning it would have died. In fact I even dug a mini grave for it in anticipation.

Why do so many businesses or individuals fail? Why is it that people do not all get what they want in life? Failing to plan can often mean planning to fail. Creating a plan means setting goals in your life. If you do not set goals you will not be very likely to succeed. Sure, there are some people who are simply gifted and can achieve more easily than others. However, the unfortunate truth is that most of us must work very hard in order to achieve our goals.
Part 6 of 7 of The IMAGE Success System (Imagine, Manage, Act, Grow, “Enjoy!”) The next step to your success is #6 - “Enjoy!” If you recall, step #2 was also “Enjoy!” because you needed to document what you wanted to ““Enjoy!”” as you accomplished tasks in the Manage, Act and Grow phases. Now it's really time to Play Big! We are going to add a third level of ““Enjoy!”” to your list. In step #2 to your success, you wrote down two levels of “Enjoy!” - "almost free for me" for small task accomplishments and "spa-like for me" for larger milestones.
There have been numerous books and articles written on the subject of time management. The problem is … you cannot manage time. Time is the great equalizer. We are all given the exact same amount of time in every day, week, month and year. In fact, we all get 525,600 minutes per year. That ...
Ladies, if I were to ask you, do you know what a "Pick Up Line" is? You'd probably roll your eyes and say yes. BUT, what if I asked you, what is a "Classic Line"? You'd probably think about the designer suit in your closet or simple tailored lines in fashion that never go out of season, a classic suit!
A few days ago, I attended a very interesting speech in Athens Greece. It is no secret anymore that Greece is in a deep crisis. Peter Economides was the speaker and the subject was “Rebranding Greece”. I follow Peter’s activities, and I was sure that it would be an inspirational speech. I was surprised by the attendance. The hall was packed, and over 50 people were standing. People of all ages. Well, yes, it seems there are a lot of people who want the current situation to change. And this is a promising message.

Women and men in their 60s and 70s are now busy re-inventing themselves, sharpening and learning new skills and beginning new enterprises. After quitting a corporate job or retiring from teaching many of you aren’t ready to stay home and watch TV knit all day. You want to "do something!" Maybe your retirement isn't stretching as far as you thought, but mainly it's because you just want to. You plainly aren't done yet. This age group has the distinct advantage of life experience to draw on, plus contacts and connections to offer support.
In 2003 Sandra started thinking it was time for her to leave her long-time corporate career and go out on her own. She diligently used her willpower and spent many evenings putting together a Plan of Action, building lists of products to create, and making lists of things to include on her website. So she worked, and she worked, and she worked to bring her dream to life... and suddenly it was 2011 and she was still in her corporate job, still aching to be out on her own.
"People are assets" and various organizations believe it dedicatedly. Nowadays many establishments are increasingly emphasizing on personal attributes while recruiting and developing staff. This enhances the overall development of the cohesive team and thus motivates them. This kind of motivation is more required in places like call centers or any environment where the company feels that its success depends on enhancing the corporate culture. However, all this cannot take pla
There are sixteen lessons to the law of success that one needs to know. Lesson one introduces the proverbial Mastermind which is one with a mind that has shown great development from working in unison with two or more individuals to accomplish a certain goal. Real power is organized, intelligent thought. Lesson two urges that you find your own innate talents and organize them to put to good use the knowledge born of experience. It shows that the main cause of perpetual failur
2012 is already here! Have you ever wondered how much baggage you bring into the New Year from situations which have hurt you in the past? During our coaching sessions, daily, I see that every one of us has been hurt by other people in the past. Are you in the 30% of fulfilled people who are daily excited about their life, career and activities or are you in the 70%?

When you think of success, do you immediately picture monetary wealth, luxury homes, and fancy cars? Do you think of the respect and prestige you’ll receive when you’ve made your mark on the world? Or perhaps you imagine the sense of pride you’ll feel when you accomplish your objectives? As great as those benefits can be, they cannot come close to matching the evolution of inner growth and personal mastery you experience along the way. While success is often
Have you ever worked really hard at something and couldn’t get it right? You knew you were missing something, but couldn’t figure out what it was? I have. It may sound impossible to suggest that time should be set aside for meditation to be part of your weekly schedule but by allocating enough time you actually can meditate for your well-being. No other exercise or medium can actually work towards the betterment of health like meditation and increase your productivity and health over the long run.
