Is she sending out the signals? Or not sending out the signals? Maybe she is just shy. Perhaps you're curious about how to know if a shy woman is interested in a man. It can be hard to "read" anybody, even talkative, outgoing people. But shy people can be doubly difficult. Because of their quiet, less communicative manner, it can be hard sometimes to understand what's going through their minds. It isn't easy for the shy person either. She may have more trouble talking to people, making eye contact, and communicating the positive parts of her personality.

“Working is meant to be fun. We spend most of our lives working. What a shame it would be if you’re spending that time doing something you hate.” – Sir Richard Branson The concept of diversification seems pretty clear (and pretty important) when it comes to investments. What about careers? Having a portfolio of careers definitely makes sense considering what the world is going through right now. Instead of having one job and dealing with the potential complications it could bring, you have a host of little ones that add up to the same fulltime thing.
Want some creative conversation topics? These are good topics or questions to have in reserve if conversation starts to lag on a date or in any other situation. First of all, however, don't overlook the obvious topics. Talking about the weather is seen as hackneyed, but it can lead to a very interesting discussion if the person you're discussing it with is interested in scienctific subjects. Asking the other person what type of books he or she likes to read is always a good topic and can lead to interesting discussions, especially if you find that the two of you share some interests.r
To dare to take a risk is to truly live. We so often have an inspirational idea that empowers us to feel electric with enthusiasm, to then simply relinquish the same idea from a fear of humiliation or rejection. An idea that is shared with us, perhaps from a higher source, is sent to inspire and allow us to live passionately, the way we were granted to experience our life. But because our fear over rides the initial idea, it is forgotten and lost in the ethers.nnLook at the m

Picture this: A Cold, foggy, and damp early morning when you find yourself under-dressed and shoulder-deep in a swamp full of hungry alligators.
We hear a lot about assertiveness, but how is assertiveness different from aggression? The two behaviors are really almost polar opposites. Aggressiveness may make people dislike you, but assertiveness often makes people like and respect you more!
Never attempt to re-evaluate a decision until you have first acted upon it. If you change your mind, opinion or decision before you have acted upon it you may be falling victim to your own internal conflict. When we re-evaluate a decision it is most likely in an attempt to validate a change of mind. The need to re-evaluate happens when the original conclusion or decision you have come to has now been challenged. This challenge is either internal or exte al. Exte al challenges of ideas come from outside forces such as the opinions of others.
Have you hugged your child today? It was a popular slogan that was coined in 1969. I think it’s time to modify the phrase to: Have you hugged your loved one today? Most couples report the perfunctory kiss upon their greeting or departure as their most consistent form of affection outside of sex. It’s not enough. We should never mistake or substitute sex for affection.
What is it about shy guys and communication? Shy guys may have a little more trouble expressing themselves in an outgoing people. Sometimes they need that little extra "push" to get them talking. On he plus side, shy guys are less likely to be loudmouthed or dominate the conversation. They are more likely to let the other person talk, too.

I have been curious about the concept of being "true to yourself" (i.e. honoring one's true self) for a while. It's a motto for some and an aspiration for others. This article will provide you with deeper (psychological and scientific) insight into the phenomenon and offer a broader understanding of what it really means to be true to yourself. I chose to approach this subject (and this article) from the opposite end of the spectrum: the converse of being true to yourself which is being false (in behavior, action, or choice) to one's true self.
Read. Recall. Write. Experiments show that the way most of us try to learn new material is inefficient. We read and reread a passage until we think we understand it. Then we are done. In fact, we learn much more effectively if we read, try to recall what we just read, and then write it down or ...
We all must work if we are to succeed in life. Unless we were born wealthy, we have no choice in the matter. We have many challenges in any job. To add the need to deal with coworkers who are troublemakers is one more difficulty. It is through our jobs that we get our feeling of self worth as well as a way in which we contribute to society and the way in which we fulfill our dreams and ambitions. For some people, the whole vision of themselves revolve around their work.
Are you conscious of your personal strengths and weaknesses? Although this question might cause us problems in job interviews, it's an important one. For one thing, it might help us to apply our talents towards areas that they're better suited. However, things don't usually work like this in today's workplace. Usually, we're put into a job role regardless of our strengths, and trained up in it by developing our weaknesses. Rounding off our weaknesses in this way is considered

“I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.” – Vincent van Gogh Meeting people is easy. In addition to the traditional ways like friends, societies, and other social groups, we now have the internet too. And provided we’re prepared to get out of our comfort zones, it shouldn’t be too hard. But getting along with the people we meet is another matter. It’s something a lot of us struggle with. Ultimately, it all comes down to developing social intelligence. That requires three things: 1. Relax
Appointments to position of leadership, influence and high decision making power are always rigged and plagued with inconsistency, thumb-sucking, guesswork with no system of set down criterion in place. Many followers complain of haphazard approaches to promotions where it is not based on any merit or previous track record. Books are continually judged by their cover, promotions based on looks, composure and dressing become the order of the day.
Building, demonstrating and proving credibility is one of the most important things we can do as people who seek to accomplish interesting goals and live successful lives. But it’s also highly misunderstood, and many people don’t have a clue how to make credibility work for themselves. Credibility is a certain intangible quality that proves our value, sincerity and competence to others; and demonstrates that we are the exceptional people we claim to be. Credibility is important because: -Makes it easier to convince other people that you are worth dealing with.

Every person in this world wants to make it big when it comes to money, but how are you actually going to do it? The answer to this is hidden in the question itself and all you need to do is just find it. A mod

"Your life is the sum result of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously. If you can control the process of choosing, you can take control of all aspects of your life. You can find the freedom that comes from being in charge of yourself." â Robert Bennett, U.S. senator Accepting responsibility for choices starts with understanding where our choices lie. This idea is wonderfully framed by the timeless wisdom of the ancient Serenity Prayer: God, grant me t

You are probably as fed up, and frustrated, as I am with corporations to whom you entrusted your hard earnt money, and who are not returning solid results, but instead trying to confuse you with beautifully scripted results and announcements that portray a positive future and a one time exceptional (usually poor) result. These promises for a bright future though, never seem to materialize with funds in your dividend account, except in the good times, do they? How often are the questions asked: WHY are there ongoing one time exceptions?

What does L.F.G. stand for, and what is the story behind this acronym? In early 2008, I started a real estate investing business. In the process of setting up the legal entity, I wanted to choose a company name that reflected what type of business it was, and yet also be something that was personally meaningful and applicable to me.

BREAKING THE NEAR-IMPOSSIBLE CYCLE OF ADDICTION byr Bill Cottringer “In the course of history many more people have died for their drink and their dope than have died for their religion or their country.” ~Aldous Huxley. Want to have confidence overcoming shyness, girls? Here are three power steps to do so. 1. Fake it till you make it. By behaving in certain ways, we can change how we feel. Studies done at the University of Califo ia School of Medicine in San Francisco had volunteers make six facial expressions signifying various emotions. When the volunteers looked afraid, their bodies reacted as if they were afraid: their skin temperature dropped and their heart rates went up. The same with anger. Similarly, feigning confidence can help you feel more confident.
Iâve been thinking about the word power lately and what it really means. This word can overwhelm us when we think of how power is used in a negative way to control and manipulate others and situations. I want to talk about power plays because they can wreck havoc on our emotions. Power plays go back and forth like a ping pong ball until the âwinnerâ walks away feeling temporarily satisfied and the âloserâ licks their wounds and retreats. This victim and victor scena
We’re told, “Stop gazing out the window. Stop daydreaming; it’s a big waste of time.” And yet, the fact of the matter is that your world, and everything you experience in your world, is an out-picturing of inner pictures. Constructive daydreams are the instrument by which you create your world. Go ahead: Gaze out the window, daydream about the future. Successful achievements begin with inner visions that you create while in the shower or stuck in traffic. However, you can’t

Failure is something we all face in our lives. I've sure had my share. I remember in the mid-1990s, I had worked myself all the way from a sales person to Marketing Director to COO of a thriving company - only to discover that I really did not like that position. So I did something radical. I decided to quit this very secure job and start my own advertising based business. It was an original idea in an industry I was very familiar with - a business magazine mailed to local bu

There is a sad, unfortunate, and all-too-common scenario that happens on the street corners of the majority of large cities across the world. The situation is familiar to us all because we each have faced it several times. And while the locations and people may be different, the circumstances are often similar. Usually the setting includes a man or woman who is extremely unkept, smells and looks as though they have not showered for weeks, is often sitting next to the entirety of what they own, and their eyes and hands are outstretched pleading for assistance.
Perseverance and Resilience are both essential values for marketers, entrepreneurs, and self employed professionals. Frequently, people see them as the same or similar character traits.
